Just got it for my wife (late Mother's day gift). My wife loves it. My ten year old daughter loves it. While the excerises would satisfy those who what to keep fit. The mini-games are a lot of fun and hilarious. Highly recommended.

This thing is pretty phenomenal. You can really feel the workout, and some of it is a tremendous amount of fun (the ski jump is very cool). Our kids are having a blast, and we are too.

There's something for just about everyone, and it's very cleverly designed. It's about as good as you could hope for. Five stars.

The Wii Fit is a magical device. It is easy and fun to use. The Wii Fit has made it convenient and enjoyable to get a pretty good workout. If you are a fitness guru then you might need something more substantial than the Wii Fit. But for most of us that are a little soft around the middle the Wii Fit is great. It lives up to the hype.

The set up was just a matter of a putting the batteries in Wii Fit board and the Wii Fit disk, once inserted into the console, will walk you through the process of synchronizing the Wii Fit board to the Wii console. Just insert the disk and follow the simple instructions and you will be up and running (literally) in no time.

The addition of the competition into the mix encourages you to keep your workout schedule and actually surpass any records set by other users. The wide variety of fitness games and events helps to keep boredom from setting in. I know I want to have the highest scores in the house and I am sure the same can be said for my family. You also get a virtual fitness coach to help you set goals and help you reach them.

The strength, aerobic, balance and yoga events give you a surprisingly good workout. I had no problem breaking a sweat. You also have the convenience of getting a workout in anytime you are at home. No packing up the kids and gathering a bag before heading outside to burn gas to head to a over priced gym that you may or may not use a month after it is paid for. In fact you can buy a Wii Console and a Will Fit Board for the prices of many gym memberships.

If you are like most of us and you can use more physical activity, do yourself a favor invest in the Wii Fit. It is a family fitness plan that the entire family will use.

Absolutely Wonderful

This has got to be the best invention for a video gaming console. We purchased the Wii Fit last week and we are all addicted. Myself, my husband and the kids. It's so much fun and we strive to do better in order to have the top score. I'm actually hurting today after working out for 1 hr on the thing. It didn't even feel like an hour that's for sure! It totally helps you with balance and flexibility! Even my husband is hooked on the yoga and he is the most anti-work out person. It's great and highly recommended!!!

I love playing games but I do not like to exersise. After getting Wii Fit I
am Exercising/Playing almost every day and I feel better every day. It is like a video game but it is good for you.

I am a couch potato but I've been thinking of getting in shape, since I'm 53 I know that waiting only increases my chances of having major health issues of a cardio-vascular type. I've been using the Wii fit for about one month and I feel better overall than when I began using it. The exercises are challenging enough to really make a difference in your fitness. I've read reviews by gamers who dislike this device because it isn't as fun as they'd like. Gamers should realize this is a physical fitness aid, like having your own personal trainer at your beck and call 24/7 and is not a game other than the balance area of the package which I think is fun. If you'd like to get in shape I highly recommend this product. It is great!

I'm 5'10, 194 lbs. Obviously I'm overweight, according to Wii Fit, my BMI is 28 which is far to high. Normal is 22. All this info I had no idea of even after going to do a yearly health checkout for abour $500, so right there, the Wii Fit is a good investment.

Now, let's get to the fun part. The actual exercises. The aerobics & balance games really does not feel like tedious work / exercise. Very fun & enjoyable. The yoga & strength training does feel like exercise, but it's in small bursts and overall just feels more fun because you interact with the balance board and get some stats on how well you are doing. Even gonig to a gym and hiring an instructor cannot get you such detailed stats.

For anyone looking to loose weight, this is a great pickup. The only other game that's similar to this is the eye toy exercise game on PS2, the balance board is much more precise. In the future, I can foresee a combination of board & remote working in conjunction to let us play 3D games.

With a bunch of unlockables, it gives you incentive to exercise and workout. If Wii offers some downloadable content as more unlockables, that would keep the Wii population fit!

We recieved the wii Fit from Amazon on the day they came out. (Thank You Amazon) I have a family of 6. My youngest is 7. All my girls love the wii fit. They are trying to wake up first (In the summer, thats a first) so they can get on it first. I am overweight and yes the wii fit told me so. But is was really funny and helpful. It lets me set goals for weight loss and will tell me if it is an unsafe / unrealistic goal. It also tells you your BMI (body Mass Index) and your weight. It then keeps a calander of your weight loss or gain. You also get a personal trainer, male or female. They walk you set by step through the exercises. So you know you are doing them right.
Then, the best part of all is the games, exercises. Lets just say games. because even the yoga and strength trainig are fun. The games are great. Balances games are my favorite. my 11 year old daughter loves the hula hoop. It is fun to watch her. We are all lauphing by the end. my 15 year old loves the yoga. We even got my husband to try the yoga. and darn it all if he doesn't still have the highest score. An added bonus is your scores are ranked with everyone else in the family, so we are always trying to beat each other.
For the price you can not beat this game/trainer. For our family of 6 the price could take us out to a nice diner or maybe a movie. No kidding last time we went to the movie, to get in with soda & 1 snack it was, $86.00.
So Skip the movie and get the wii. We have had it a few weeks and we are all still loving it. For the price, you get.... a scale, with BMI. A personal trainer, a yoga instructor, fun games to play, differant jogging paths, a way to improve your posture and balance.

Worth Waiting For

The Wii Fit was worth waiting for and is an absolute blast. It isn't intended for a true workout but has some great games to get you up and moving. So far I especially like the balance games and feel it is helping to improve my balance. I recommend this to everyone trying to make any kind of improvements in their fitness.

This game is very fun!! I have a very demanding toddler and I can play the games while I hold him. It makes doing Yoga very interesting! I have a lot of fun playing the balance games and I've lost 5lbs in the week I've had it. It motivates me to lose weight when I see my poor little round Mii staring at me from the screen. *laughs. It has a few downsides if you are planning on using it as an exercise tool instead of a fun game that will help you lose weight. You can't set a routine and the wait time between games/exercises can be sort of long. I wish there was a way to set your top 10 and then run through them without seeing the "time bank" or the "good jobs" or hearing the trainer tell me to "work out every day". Other than that very small criticism I highly recommend it! It's a lot of fun!!
