this game is going to be the best game ever who ever said grantrismo 4 is better they got a nother thing comeing need for speed underground is going to better than any racing games every made and they are going to continue making the best racing games just like need for speed underground. They have illegal street racing and they are going to have drag racing. If you liked the rest of the need for speeds then you will like this one i played the demo and now i am just waiting for the game to come out and i am going to get it the first day it comes out i already reserved it and i have 4 more days to wait. This is the best game ever now go get it the first day it comes out or you are not a true need for speed fan. Thank you for reading this review and vote for me to be #1. Thankyou

Need for speed underground is a good racing game as well as a creative game because you can customize certain cars and you can unlock cars that already have been customized to be unlocked. I am a absolute complete racing freak and I looooooooooooove racing games but they have to look good and realistic for me to buy it or play it. I like racing movies aswell like the fast and the furious, 2 fast 2 furious and torque. The best racing games to get are need for speed games,gran turismo games, auto modellista,burnout 2 & 3 and juiced. my name is jordan josiah nicholson samuel,i'm 9 years of age but i look like i'm 12 years old,i live in london,herne hill with my mum simone and my 4-year old sister sapphire and i like rap music and mc's.

This is the best game ever!!!!!! You can costomize your ride, and supe up your car. This game is the coolest. Everyone who anything in their head should buy this game and at least think it's good!!!

I hate this game! My friends play it all the time. They say bad things in the songs and it's totally unrealistic. There's even nitrus! I think this game should be rated T.

Ok, so Ive read everyones review and all are complaining about the cars...how many lambos oand such do you see everyday? 1 at the most for me and I live in Las Vegas. This is a game based on cars every day ppl can buy and race. Thats why its STREET racing, and not RICHMAN racing. The tuning of the cars is by the far the best Ive seen yet w/ body kits and even head/tail light modifications. The decal and vinyl option is very entertaining as well. 5 stars from me and i recommend it to anyone thats a fan of the import scene or Fast and the Furious.

i'm torn about this game. On the one hand, it's not perfect. The control, graphics, and gameplay are pretty good, but there are some frustrating parts about it, but, i've found myself playing this game for hours and hours at a time. This is alot like some of the other import underground racing games you've seen, but EA takes it one step further. You can customize your car in so many different ways from a performance and visual standpoint, it is alot of fun changing paint schemes, decals, vinyl graphics, wheels, body kits, and on and on and on. this is actually probably one of my favorite aspects of the game. There is a quick race mode, but the meat of this game is in the UNDERGROUND mode. This is where you pick a car, build it, race it, and continue racing and upgrading your car. There is a linear progression to the races. There are four kinds of racing involved, and your goal is to get "ranked" in each type of racing, and then move up the rankings. the more your car is tricked out, the higher your "reputation" is. The neat thing about this is that your reputation helps out your score. so if you have a reputation of 2, or 3, or 4, or 5, however many points you score in the game is multiplied by your reputation rating. This helps you unlock more and more upgrades for your car. The weird thing is, and something i dont like, is you have to progress a certain distance in the game before alot of it is unlocked. What will happen is you will be sitting on a fat load of cash, but unable to buy all the goods for your ride until you progress further in the game. I imagine this is for the sake of challenge, to keep you from maxing out your car and blowing away the competition, but i think if i have 30,000 dollars I should be able to tint my windows or put on some 18 inch wheels !! anyways, the four modes of racing.

sprint: this is a quick run from point A to point B.
circuit: the lap knockout races, and tournament races are involved
drag: pretty neat, but VERY difficult in parts, and can be very frustrating. involves precise gear shifting, and switching lanes to avoid traffic.
drift: this mode is not too hard. you basically sling your car sideways and score points for it

Ive enjoyed this game, its more addictive than anything. I keep trying to get further and further to see what else i can unlock to customize my car. I drive the same car as I picked in the game (Honda Civic) so it's pretty neat to see what all can be done to a little car like that. The game has a reasonable level of difficulty, and you can choose easy, medium, or hard levels before each challenge. most of the time you can probably get by on medium, with good skills, but later in the game ive had to drop down to easy, especially on the drag races. The drift mode ive stayed on medium difficulty and still smoked it. If you have mad driving game skills, you could probably go for hard mode, and it might help you unlock stuff alot quicker. So given my frustration with this game, i have to say ive played it like a madman for the last 5 days. It took me 2 full days to beat one race in the drag mode, where you have to get a perfect start, and switch every gear perfect. Even then, I had to hit the nitrous and look in the rearview mirror to block. I was so frustrated with this part of the game, but to have beaten it was a very rewarding feeling. The sense of speed is fairly good, the graphics are well done, the control is good, but you might get angry at some of the traffic !!(but hey, you're doing 165 mph on the wrong side of the road!) I haven't tried the online mode yet but i plan to get back online soon with my PS2 to see how much other people have tricked out their cars. I can definitely say for sure that other games will be copying the "customize your ride" feature of this game

When I first played this game I thought I was playing Fast and the Furious. This game a very good game for the inthusiast of street racing. I was really taken over by the fact that you could customize your own ride. There is some difficulty in the higher tournaments but all in all this game is a must for anyone.

This has got to be one of the best racing games of all time! I have it for PS2 which is great because i love to go online and race people from all over. On XBOX, you cant. I have Midnought club 2, which is also good, but not nearly as good as this. Usually i like there to be free drive in any games tht have cars, but with this game, its soo fun, i dont even care that it doesnt have it. The only thing i have found a little bit annoying is tht when u crash or get air during a race, it switches to cinematic camera, making it really hard to control a landing or to keep driving. But besides that, ITS GREAT!!! Theres over 100 races do, so it takes a while to beat it. im only on race 40. If you only buy one game for ps2, make sure its Need for Speed: Underground!!

this has to be the funnest game have played in the last couple of years. the game is awesome it has a little bit of everything you could ask for from a driving game. i only wish it had replay. i just started playing it a couple of nights ago and it is pure fun. winning the cool parts and paint, rims, logos, tires, etc. if you are in to car you will love this game. if you are just looking for something fun to play this is the game for you.

Suite up in a VW Golf and prepare to take over "da streetz" Ludacris style.

This game offers essentially 3 different styles of racing; Sprints, Drags and Drift Racing. All equally fun. In Sprints it's just like any other racing game. Drag is just a strait shot on a road requiring perfect gear shifts and dodging oncoming cars and drift is just sliding around holding down the e-brake. Doesn't sound fun but it is.

What I liked about this game was that it got you started real quick. Which is a breathe of fresh air from games like Gran Turismo which require many hours of play to get your car REALLY ready to race.

You can upgrade the engine of your car and even the looks of it, with many different features to make your car stand out from the rest.

Overall, this was a great game. I think EA is heading somewhere with this concept and I wouldn't be suprised if we a more in-depth street racing game to come out soon.
