i heard rumors of battle version of toyotas..old from the 70's & 80's destroying 350z,Skylines,Nsx and espcially Hondas and they are coming out with battle attack SS a 75' corolla with a Twin turbo supra motor in it. that must be a Monster..you Civic and Integra guys better run for cover the old school its coming back for vengance! ...Drive Drift Dream

The graphics on this game are really good. But who wants a Dodge Neon, Impreza 2.5, Lancer ES, Peugot ? Those cars suck monkey balls !! Nissan Skyline GTR R34 or Toyota Supra...these cars are absolute beast. The game gets kinda repetitive though. Like you're doing the same race over and over again SLIGHTLY more difficult each time. Overall it is definitely worth the purchase as we all wait for GT4 to drop in December. You'll just get bored REALLY fast, but maybe thats because most of the time I play alone. It is a lot more fun when you're racing friends because AI will bore you after a few days. Hope this was helpful...peace

This is my favorite PS2 racing game. I play it all the time! If you don't own one, and are planning to get one you will love it, too! There is DRAG, DRIFT, SPRINT,and CURCUIT racing modes. DRIFT is a Japaneese style racing, it's pretty simple, once you get the hang of it. All you need to do is get your car to slide and go sideways.

Have you ever wanted to know what it was like to street race? How about pick your own car, or the parts. Well here is your chance race down to get Need for Speed Underground it's the best street racing game ever!
I've beet that you waiting what seems like forever for your game to start. Now you don't have to wait forever now just a few seconds to start the game. Well that is what Need for Speed Underground has now. It has a lot faster loading time.
Have you ever wanted to pick out your own car parts or car? You can now with Need for Speed Underground. Or what about the graphics. I beat that you wish everything looked real instead of fake well its got it too Need for Speed Underground.
I've seen parents get mad because of violins in a game well parents fear no more Need for Speed Underground has no violins at all. The at all the only thing you do is race and win money.
Have you ever wanted advice before a game? Or you can prepare for what is on the next level. Well need for speed has got that it will tell if you will or should need N.O.S., or if the track is hard.
Well that your proof so race down and get Need for Speed Underground. So good luck and hope for the best rent or buy Need for Speed Underground.

this game is awesome. its sooo much fun!! i would recomend getting the racing wheel for it. that just makes it all the more fun. the customazations for the cars neer ends!! ive spent hours at a time just costomizing cars. this is a great game and it is worth evey penny. you should go out to the store and buy this game right now!!

This game outstrips racing games like the GT series. First of all this game has style that GT games dream of. Yeah, sure you can tweak your car in GT but you can't make it LoOk like you want it to. NFSU has great graphics and gameplay beyond compare. It also has one of the best music selections I've ever seen (heard). Best of all, this game has NOS. YIPPEE! This game will have a place in gaming history for sure!

This game is so boring! The cars suck, the upgrades suck and the tracks aren't open. This racing game is the worst. Plus there are no cops so no point in even driving on free runs. I love EA, and the graphics are great but there's no good, fun game to go with it. I think that this game is like Midnight Club 1, but even that is better. At least there are good cars in that and you can drive all over the downtown of a city. This game has BORING written all over it.

What John from MASS said in his review is spot on, nuff said and nothing to add to that. What I gotta say is that I have never been into game consols and I am a biker, not a car-lover but when I was given an xbox I had to get some games for it right? I bought NFSU on recommendation as my first game and I AM TOTALLY HOOKED BABY! It totally rocks and, having now played other games, I've got to say, nothing really comes anywhere near, not that I've played anyway. Total recommend that you buy it!

I usealy love EA's games like the MOH, and Need for Speed, but this is a new low in racing games. Sure you get to make your own car, but it dosen't even work right, I mean I buit my car then when I begin to race, not even 5 sec. in to the race my car engine blows out. I tried about 20 times(no I'm serious I counted 20 times)but still the same thing. Rent before buy ALWAAAYS.

Need For Speed Underground

I think this game is boring dispite its attempt on creating your "dream car." For example the game is focosed so much on pure racing that it gets trying. And practtically the whole city is dead. There isant one person strolling on a sidewalk, Creepy. Also the most dissapointing part of the game is that all the buildings you see in the backround are fake, your racing in some kind of tunnel to keep you inside the race so you cant even explore. Oh and when you try to go a part road that has an arrow "gaurding it" you are thrown back onto the race track again. Spare me. The game desiners just want to keep you in the right track so you dont see whats really behind those pretty buildings... Nothing! I mean come on you could of took the time to make the buildings 3-d. Anyway thats my review for a game called Need For Speed that isant made well. But if you look on the bright side you can create a car and race it.
