this is the best game i ever played! it has many levels and multi-player stuff. you can be on a team or against a buddy. i play rising sun with my brother every day after school. on a multi-player level the japanese come into a house where i hide and kill me but if my buddy dosent die i come back to life to kill the japanese. this game made me like WWII and helped me in school.

GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cant beleive how some of these ppl right reviews for games they havent played if u want the facts then read a review when it comes out.their is no point in reading these reviews cause these ppl know nothing about it unless their tester

This game is incredible. This game has the best graphics I have ever seen. A great edition to medal of honor frontline. If you do not buy this game you are really missing out.

Its not a terrible game, and if I had never played any of the MOH games I might have liked it. But, I did, and it stinks. It doesn't compare to any of the other MOH games, going back to the original. Even the music isn't as good. I am very disappointed. It's funny how the only good reviews were written before the game came out. Ignore them.

Don't even bother. I was so disappointed by the first two levels that i quickly resold it. Everybody was praising and hyping up the opening attack on Pearl Harbor as better then the beach landing in MOH Front Lines, but MOH Rising Sun dropped a big fat bomb. If you like shooter games buy SOCOM 2 for sure.

It's very well done, but a little lacking in length

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun is a very well done game. The graphics are improved from Frontline and the music, as usual, is awesome. The weapons are basically the same except you don't get to use the BAR, which i missed, or the Colt .45, but the absence of those two guns is made up with the shotgun which is by far my favorite weapon in the game. There are only two drawbacks of this game. One, there is a certain Japanese character that comes at you with a sword. He runs at you and weaves and is very hard to shoot. If he manages to get you twice with his sword, your dead. And second, the game is very short. There are only 8 levels in this game but they are very in depth. The makers left a lot of questions unanswered. The whole plot of the game was for the main character trying to find is captured little brother, in the end of the game, he is never found and his status is unknown. But aside from those drawbacks, I would reccomend this game.

A Great Addtion To Medal Of Honor

This game is a great addition to the Medal Of Honor Series. Some people may criticize the graphics, others the realism of the game.

If you are looking for mass destruction games like Time Splitters or Red Faction, this may not be the game for you.

This game simply follows along with the preceeding Medal Of Honor titles. There are not 1,000 mutant zombies that you have to kill every 5 feet.

I think this game does a GREAT job of producing a realistic environment. For example, the enemies just dont stand in front of you so you can pluck them off one at a time. They move! They hide! They run around and at times seem to work together to shoot you. Also, the recoil of the weapons is most definately a factor. If you think you would use a machine gun and just stand still and kill evreything in sight, you've got another thing coming!

Perhaps some of the bad rap on this title is from gamers that want to run around with no goals, no purpose and shoot everything that stands still in a perfectly straight line?

The variety of challenges from level to level are also very nicely done. You do not wind up in hallway after hallway with repetitive enemies. You are on a ship acting as a gunner, you roam around cities, you are a sniper on a river. It goes on and on.

Graphically on a scale of 1-10 I would give this game a 7.
Sound, I would give it an 8.
Fun, I would give it a 10.
Replay Value, I would also give it a 10.

It is a lot of fun to go back through the game and find all of the places and items you have missed.

All in all, its a GREAT addition to the Medal of Honor Series, definately worth the $$$$.

I am a very big fan of the medal of honor series. I have had evert medal of honor part dating back from the PS one.
I was really hiped up for theis game, and when it came out i went and bought it for £40.
The starting scene is a pile of sh*t compared to medal of honor frontline. I completed the fu*king game in 2 hours flat. anyperson who wants to buy the game, i insist you rent it out. This is probably the worst ever game that has been released on PS2.

All the the people that think that this game is good are sad and need a life.

I feel ripped off.

Good game, well done, but WAY TOO SHORT!!! My jaw dropped when all of a sudden the credits were rolling. I paid $50 for this game and was done with it in just a couple of days. Totally anticlimactic ending. Certain aspects of it are better than Frontline, but overall Frontline is much better. Rising Sun has not enough sniper action, way too many health packs, not enough interesting weapon usage (i.e. bazooka only shows up in one level and I didn't even need it), and did I mention it was too short? WTF!!! I want my money back, EA Games!!! :(
