DEFINETELY COOL

First things first...this game came out on the 12th in regular stores, not the 14th on amazon! I purchased it on the 12th, and have played it non-stop. This game is totally awesome! It starts off with the attack on pearl harbor. After successfully traveling through a maze of hallways, you find yourself on the deck of the ship watching a short slow-mo clip of the destruction, and then using your B.A.R and various mounted machine guns to shoot down those dasterdly japanese airplanes. You then take control of a P.T. boat with a rear mounted double-barrel .50 caliber machine gun. (DROOLING YET?) After that, you go on various missions on foot. You are usually accompanied by several of your fellow soldiers, and use a variety of weapons. Ranging from the trusty M1 Garand, the B.A.R., the Thompson and replacing the Colt .45 is the M1911. The A.I. is dramatically improved, and not only do your fellow troops actually kill people, but the enemy is somewhat challenging to kill as well. The single player alone is enough to pay the hefty $50.00 price tag, but you also get co-op mode(YOU GOTTA BE DROOLING BY NOW), multiplayer, and online paly...OH YEAHHHH!! Any fans of wartime games, fans of MOH: Frontline, and all FPS fans in general owe it to themselves to check-out this incredibly detailed, interactive, exciting, and overall fun game.

I'd like to defend the others who reviewed this game before it has come out. We have Medal of Honor Frontline for the Playstation 2 and it is one of the best games I have ever seen. The attention to detail is amazing. Even the background music is big screen movie quality. It is a fantastic game and I'm not even a fan of first person shooters. I will definitely be buying Medal of Honor: Rising Sun. If it's half as good as the previous Medal of Honor it will be awesome. If people are giving it five stars before it comes out it's based on their experience of previous Medal of Honor games.

Medal of honor the rising sun is by far 10 times better than medal of honor frontline. Don't get me wrong, that game was fun but had problems. In the Rising sun they improved the game , and fixed all the problems. BUY THIS GAME

This game is incredible. This game has the best graphics I have ever seen. A great edition to medal of honor frontline. If you do not buy this game you are really missing out.

This game is the best thing I ever played cause you cane use macine guns to shoot down enemy air crafts and people you will not like. I like it because you are right in the middle of Pearl Harbor and you can pretect your alies just the way you can shoot down air crafts.

i thought this game was pretty cool withall the japanese soldiers and pearl harbor and everything. other people say it's boring and the AI is bad, but i like mindlessly killing japs!!!! have played frontline and it is really col too, but i can't pick which one i likebetter. anyway, blowing upstuff is lots of funso ha!!!!!

I have to say this is the best war game ever, I mean who wouldn't want to play in a game based on world war II. I found myself on the pearl habour and then planes start bombing the ships, I quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher and put out flames. I run upstairs and I guy gives me a gun and I start fireing at the planes. Not much different than Frontline but better than SOCOM II.

I think this game is good. I like the fact that they went another direction with the Medal of Honor Series and the beginning is great. Though it kind of goes bad after that. The level design is a bit lacking and it is a bit dark, thuogh that's how WWII was fought in Japan. The Japanese shouldn't go suicidal all the time. The Japanese also shoudn't be that stupid. The game is also a bit sluggish. But overall I like the entire game and the concept and levels and especially the biginning. I still love this game still and am a fan of Medal of Honor.

medal of honor 2, is great there are a couple of hard levels othewise its crazy especially with the m1 garrand

this is a great game.Duh.I loved this game.the game is a bit short but fun. It has great graphics and story line.This is agame you will ethor like or dis-like.So I recomend renting the game first.Its agame for a true gamer
