This game is the best thing I ever played cause you cane use macine guns to shoot down enemy air crafts and people you will not like. I like it because you are right in the middle of Pearl Harbor and you can pretect your alies just the way you can shoot down air crafts.
GONNA BE A GOOD ONE!

When I played "Medal of Honor: Frontline," I felt like I was part of the allied invasion of Normandy, and not just playing a game! Based on what I've seen and read, "Medal of Honor: Rising Sun" promises to be even bigger and better! Prepare to be dropped right into the middle of America's War in the Pacific! Semper Fide!

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun is one of the best in the Medal of Honor series. The graphics are OK, the music is great, and the story is perfect. The weapons and people graphics are the best i've seen, but the same jungle scenery gets a little boring, but don't get me wrong, the views are spectacular. The enemy AI are pretty good (except when they try to run through walls), and they act exactly as you would expect a Japanese soldier would in that time zone. Anybody who has played a Medal of Honor game and liked it, has to get this game!

I have some questions about this game. Ok I plan to buy it as soon as it comes out and wanted to know about playing it and other games online. Im going to buy the Online Pack for online play and i wasnt sure if it mattered if i had dail-up? I also wanted to know if i was to buy the Logitech USB Headset for Ps2 Online play, would that work with Megal of Honor: Rising Sun, Socom 1 and 2, and other online games, or is there a better headset that i should buy. If anyone can help me out please email me at da_hulkster@hotmail.com. Thanks. Im not really 1, i didnt want to have to fill out a bunch of stupid forms.

For evryone who is complaining about there being no strategy in this game, just shooting: WHAT WERE YOU EXPECTING?!?!?!?!?! Frontline was the same. There was NO strategy in Frontline either. Don't get me wrong, I love MOH. Probably some of the best games ever made. But MOH is just plain fun, plowing through troops of Nazis with a machine gun, there's no strategy. If you're looking for fun games that also require some thinking, look for: Bond-Everything or nothing, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, SOCOM, Rainbow 6 (wish they made it for PS2),and Metal Gear Solid.
I know you think I'm crazy when I say Bond requires strategy, but this new one's awesome. I was always a big fan of the old FP bond games where you shoot everything in sight, But this is a change of pace. It's the 1st ever Third person Bond game and they add in a little more stealth play and strategy. I played a demo of it and it's amazing. I'm ordering it today definately.
Co-op Mission; fun, complex and accurate!

When I saw the previews for MOH:Rising sun, I knew I must get it. The first chance I had I rented it and sat down with a friend. Wow. This was the first MOH to feature co-op mission play and I felt they'd outdone themselves with the detail. Although at times the killing seemed a tad senseless (aimlessly shooting hoards of planes in Pear Harbour, dozens of men appearing out of nowhere when you took control of a machine gun nest) but on the whole it was well planned out, and at times rather confusing! The underbrush through the jungles is realistically thick, and creates visual obstacles in finding enemy.
As well, the Japanese, your foe, often hide in fox holes in the ground, camoflauged and pop up right when your over top or passed them - very accurate. As well, the Japanese characters charge at you with bayonettes as they would have in WW2, and it catches you offguard at the beginning. The music only adds incredibly to it, and almost makes is seem as if you are the lead role in a WW2 movie. Its no wonder Stephen Speilberg is in the credits.
Overall, this is an extrememly well put together game, with weapon, character, map and battle details down to a T, and and incredible sense of realism, it give you awe and respect for those who were really there during the great war. We salute you.

I have never played Medal of Honor Frontline. I thought that Rising Sun was the best first person shooter that I have ever played. I have no idea what the people who talk so negatively were doing. The game was made to be fun not looked at so critically. It is one of the best games I have played. If you just want to play a fun game I recomend this one.
This is a must have

I picked up the new Medal of Honor Rising Sun game up last night at a local Game Stop location. As soon as I walked in the door, the game was opened and in my Playstation 2.
All I can say about the game so far is WOW, WOW, WOW. You talk about addicting. Game play on the controler is a little different from Frontline but easy to get use to.
The game starts off with the bombing of Pearl Harbor. You are immediately thrown into the game, jumping on deck gun on a ship and trying to knock down JAP planes out of the sky. I haven't got that far into the game yet, but I know that this game will keep me entertained.
Highly recommended if you like the MOH series.
