Medal of Honor: Rising Sun

First off, this game was unbeliveable. It had some of the best garphics a game could have. It had the best fighting seens in a game that I have ever seen. It was a heck of alot better then MOH:Frontline. You can team up with a friend to beat the Japanese, play agianst some one in 2 player mode, or kick it off online. When you first start the game, you are at Preal Harbor, when you wake up right when the attack happens, then you fight your way thuorgh jungles and bases. This beats the heck out of history class.

Over all this a must have, for all people, even for ones who like a little pay back for Preal!

Good game, falls way short of expectations...

Better than most games out there, but finished single player way too quickly!!! No climactic ending like frontline. Save $50 if you don't play online, because you'll easily finish the single-player game in a weekend. The game is very good, but I expected much more!

Awesome Game

MoH fans listen up. Despite many many bad reviews, I still think this game still lives up to the MoH title. The graphics are great, right down to the faces, uniforms and facial detail. The AI is something to contend with, though MANY MANY people say the AI is "Stupid", unfortunately that was the Japanese Army, stand in the open and shoot or Banzai Charge not caring about being killed or not. Sometimes Bravery can be mixed up with stupidity. The Multiplayer is outstanding! AND HAVE BOTS!!!!! (sorry Halo that was your only downfall). In MP you can even play a Free for all by yourself and face bots who by no means is stupid one bit. Many many weapons can be selected in this multiplayer from Japanese Imports to even all rifles. Hardcore games who play these games for hours straight can finish is real fast. But for those for play for a shorter amount of time can finish it in a couple of days. Once the Online multi. gets going, people will start singing a different tune, Just like RtCW, people will praise it for it's multi. game (similar to MoH AA). All in all, it's a great game, The single player is great, but the multiplayer takes the cake!

i just got this game yesterday (its first day of release) and i have played the first three missions so far. the gameplay in this game is unmatched by anything else on the market. i really felt like i was fighting off invaders from the deck of the USS California. when the level was over and i had a sliver of health left i litterally whiped my brow and caught my breath. i then prepared for the next level. i didn't want to stop playing but i figured i can pick it up again today and fight the good fight. i gave this game a 4 out of 5 and the only reason it didn't get a 5 was the complete lack of blood, which i feel takes away from the realism of the combat, even though EA strived for an acurate portrayal. everything else about this game is phenomenal though, from the ripping musical score which makes the action tense or calm depending on the situation, to the sound effects that put you right in the mindset of the soldier, to the graphics that are improved over the last installment, and the little things they added for this one, such as one button granade launching and in level save spots. all and all this game is the best WW2 shooter out there and i'm going to enjoy playing it imensly.

This game has some very beautiful and exciting battle scenes. However, my main complaint is the length of the game. I finished the game in 3 short nights (about 7 hours). When I reached the end, I couldn't believe it. I spent $45 for 7 hours. Maybe the online play makes it worth the price. If you are not a online player, rent it at blockbuster. Its worth the rental for the pearl harbor scenes.

A gamer from Rivendelle, LOOSEN UP! And Pete Robinson from Greentown, PA , you have no idea about what your saying about the Japanese, they weren't all as "stupid" as you make them out to be.It's a game, good graphics and sound, fun, somewhat educational,SOMEWHAT(just so people don't say I'm taking it too far). The Japanese should be a little bit smarter though, and the game longer.

I must first say that the first medal of honor was one of my favorite games of all time so I was highly excited to hear about rising sun.
The opening level is simply amazing which is true of the first medal of honor. The rest of the levels leave a lot to be desired. It is not that they arent good but there isnt much of a change from the first medal of honor except that you are fighting the japanese instead of the germans.
By biggest problem with it is that it doesnt have as many levels as the first game and ends rather abruptly. Your kind of left with a "is that all feeling"
Overall I thought it was a good game, but not worth the money when you can just rent it for 5 bucks for a week and that is all the time you will need.

It's gonna be good. I am actually just testing to see how the rating system here at Amazon works, because I am building my company's website and building a review system into it. Please rate this review as useless, because it is. In spirit with the review, this should be an excellent game. I have MOH Frontline, and I have played it through 4 times.

This game looked good when in all truth it is a mediocre game. The levels where allright and the game was WAY TO SHORT it did not take me very long at all before I got to the end. Which really sucked by the way. The multiplayer is allright that's probably the best feature of the entire game. I have not tried the Online so I do not know if that is worth buying the game for 49.99$ The game really is probably a 2.5 I hoped this helped you I wish I would of read a review that would of told more of the TRUTH about the game..!!

One of the Best WWII Games!!

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun is a great game to play. The levels are action-packed with fierce combat fighting. You also get to experience the attack at Pearl Harbor and shoot the Japanese fighter planes with your machine gun. The graphics are much better than the first game, as well as the missions that are given to you. I gave this game 4 stars because I didn't get a chance to play online, but if I did I probably would of given it 5 stars. All in all, this game is a great rental or purchase!
