i think the graphics are better on this game and the moves and you can become sparda and play trish but i liked storyline,weapons,and bosses on the first game devil may cry 1 rocked devil may cry 2 was sweet but not as good as dmc1 dante was better in dmc2 and lucia sucked her levels every thing i think devil may cry 1 is the best i cant belive i traded it in at a store called gamexchange for devil may cry 2 im working on hard mode to get trish right now im on level 16 and cant beat it but i loved the first one alot better than the second
i despise anybody who rates this game bad (... them all)

this game kicks major ...,the people who hate this game obviously were thinking it would be exactly like the first one,or people who bought it just cause it looked cool when they went to the store , come on , everybody has different tastes it just matteres on what your type of game is, but lets be serious this game is cool dante is the best and always will be the best hero of any game ,anyway the graphics are beutiful anybody who thinks different must be blind,and the sound is really cool especially when fighting, also two discs and , another character lucia and she's awsome,,,and the gameplay for both of them is awsome running up walls shootin at the same time.simply this game rocks any other game out there..like i said before mostly everybody will like this game ... every once and a while you'll get a person who does'nt but you will this game rocks....

Dante is back and better than ever in DMC2! Even though its kinda dark in some levels, its totally awesome! You should see the ending for Dante!!!!

DMC1 had a great storyline. DMC2 flushes it down the toilet. I gave it 3 stars for the only 3 cool things. Cool new moves, demon form, and controls. That's all. It doesn't have anything to do with DMC1. It's like DMC1 never happened. Oh lord it really sucks. Even though it was fun to shoot in different directions and walk up on walls. I hope they just delete DMC2 and make a real sequel with those 3 things I liked from DMC2.

In the spirit of the game's playing time, I'll be short. The game was action-packed, for sure, and it had some neat weapons. It was visually stunning as well. But all in all, it was too short and too easy. Anybody beating DMC on "Dante Must Die" mode will find the game pretty easy -- this includes the level difficulty as well as the toughness of enemies. Because it was so easy, I had the game beat in no time, and not because I was racing through each mission to get an 'S' rank. It seems that DMC2 dropped the ball. It just wasn't enough to sink my teeth into -- not to mention that I was really hoping with an epic round 2 with Mundus =/

common people this game is pretty cool. i myself never played the original. but so far im enjoying this one. great graphics awesome stealth missions plenty of action. thats good they made it easy. i mean common how many people can just go to the store and pick up a mature rated game thats easy. its good because people that like bloody games can have a fun non frustrating time. this game is awesome you get to do crazy stunts and kill people awesome get the game now.

The moves are cool. The paths of both the characters are similar. Easy. Unlimitted ammo rocks! The graphics are dated and aren't detailed. The story is bad. It is pretty short.

es un asco de juego, no se parece para nada al primero. los enemigos son muy sin gracias, y debiles. son mas pequenos que en Devil May Cry, ademas es muy facil de terminar. Aunque permite usar dos personajes distintos, realmente no tiene sentido. este juego es una decepcion. espero que la tercera parte sea mucho mejor.

Dante moves are great, like the weapons and some scenarios.But the story is bad and Lucia, in simple words is the worst player made, she doesn't hurt anything, her weapons are bad, the devil trigger is like using lucia without the trigger. Is Fun but just with Dante.
