I BOUGHT THIS GAME WHEN IT WAS $50 BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GREAT GAME. I WAS WRONG. YOU DONT GET A LIGHTSABRE UNTIL FAR INTO THE GAME AND ALL THE ADVERTISMENTS SHOWS YOU WITH A LIGHTSABRE. THE GAME IS EXTREMELY BUGGY AND HAS POOR GRAPHICS. I AM A HUGE STARWARS FAN AND WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS GAME TO ANYONE NO MATTER HOW BIG OF A STARWARS FAN THEY ARE.

DONT BUY THIS GAME!

I bought this game, brought it home, and it would not install. I tried continuously for about three hours to get it to install and it would not. I had to return it and get a refund. :(

I was seriously looking forward to this game. Guess I should have read other reviews about the game before I went through the motions of buying it.

This game is going to be Awesome!!

I bought the first one and that one was definately 5 stars and if they are coming out with a second one that is should be even better this game is going to be the Greatest.

Hands Down The Best Game EVER!!!
This has got to be the best, not just computer, game ever. Sure some parts of the game can be a little dule, but wat game doesnt have that. Some parts challenge ur mind and some challenge ur characters physical strenght.

PROS
1. Being able to choose ur own type of light saber, this jsut lets u personalize the game a little more.
2. Diffrent paths u can take, that makes it so this game is not boring and can be played over again many times.
3. ALLIES!!! U get a varity of diffrent allies, each with their own special ablities and fight pattrens.
4. This game has an incrediable story in line that u influence greatly. Its story line is better then that of most of the movies.

CONS
1. Takes u so long to build a light saber.
2. Can only use 3 allies at once even 4 or 5 would have been better.
3. Can not choose allies, there should be more allie options.

Over all this game is amazing and im looking forward 2 seeeing another sequal.

jedi with no lightsaber, i uninstalled it.

Kotor 1's biggest mistake was not giving you a lightsaber until the second area... kotor2 picks up where kotor1 leaves off, by not giving you a lightsaber in the second area either. So i quickly deleted it and haven't ever returned to it. 50 dollars wasted.

I'm sure it would be a lovely game if i had the patience to drudge through until i got a lightsaber.

i recommend you get nwn or nwn2 if you want to fight with swords, much better d20 RPG with sword play.

first and formost i like all star wars games but what happened to your jedi (if you chose the dark side) that beat malak and became lord of the sith?

I absolutely loved the The first knights of the old republic and I can't wait until the second one comes out. Knights of the Old Republic had to have the best story I've ever seen in a video game. It also has an awsome plot twist. The graphics were the greates on the xbox. The point of Knights of the Old Republic 2 is that all of the Jedi are dead except for one, and that is you. You have the power to either join the dark side or fight for the light side. Except this time if you join the dark side so will your party and vise versa. There are going to be more powers, more characters, and probably another great story line. Unfortunately I don't know how the first one ends because my disc broke when I was almost finished with the game. Awesome but bug-laden

This is an awesome game so far--very compelling characters, good graphics, good combat, great environments, even better music. The storyline, or "point of the game" is not as clear or motivating as the first one: ie, I'm asking myself "why should I care about doing this?" but the character development is good.

I am experiencing the desk-top crash problem. I had seen several top-reviwers (IGN, GameSpy, GameSpot, etc.) mention this particular problem, so I'm assuming it's not just a problem with my computer, which ran the first one, and most other software, just fine. I recommend getting this in spite of the bug, if not for the sheer entertainment level, but because the problems it has will likely be fixed in an upcoming patch (if they come out with one...).

I just bought this game and it did not work! I tried my friends copy on his computer and it was awsome. I have no idea why it is not working but i am returning it and getting another copy and just for those people who say that your computer is not good enough, I did the system check to see if my computer could handle it and it told me that my computer passed all of the tests with flying colors so great game, returning copy, getting another one and gonna play it all night.
