This game looks absolutely terrific. As being a Star Wars fan, this game is the sequel to the best Star Wars game ever made. The force powers are awesome and I like the ability to go to the light side or the dark side. HOW CAN YOU RATE THIS GAME 1 STAR? At least give it a couple.
OK until the bugs

Ok. I just got a new computer ( a nice one too), and the 2nd level the game laags. Then it shutsdown while loading!? The game itself is just clicking. Normal attack here, click on that... nope not good enough go click to get a higher level! While its cool making a character and going to the dark side. I find a 3 star game.

In this humble bumble's opinion this just as good or even better than the 1st one. The fact that towards the end you find who's on who's side adds an extra edge to the game. The only complaint I might have is that game designer's didn't really bridge the two together, but considering that theme prevailent in the game that might conscience decision on the game developer's part.

lucas should be ashamed to stamp his name on this turkey. do not play on the xbox 360. you will experience random sound shreiks, resolution issues, too-lonng load times. and overall this is a really buggy and perplexing product. why? the first was very good.
The Sequel, Good But Not The Best.

I was as excited as anyone else about Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, and I pre-ordered it early last year. While this game does offer a captivating (though confusing) story and you get to see a few of the characters from the original game, it could have been better. For one thing the game liked to lock up. I'm running a 3.2 GHz Pentium 4 processor, 1.5GB or RAM, and a DDR ATI 9800 Radeon Video Card, so this is a top of the line machine. I did not have this difficulty with the first game. The worlds have much of the same look as they did in the last game. Some of the side missions seem very tedious. Also, they continuously refer to Revan as "she" in the game which is annoying in that Revan could have been male or female (depending on who you chose at the start of the original game). So, since I had Revan be a male in the original game, and I was confused as this game progressed. They did little to explain what happened to Bastilia and Revan (the male version). With this said, I constantly saved, saved, and saved!!
The game did have its good points in that you're back on the Ebon Hawk, and T3 is even back to help out. Also, though you start out as a Jedi you're without a lightsaber and have to gather the parts to build it. Plus you must first have Bao-Dur as part of your group before the lightsaber can be built. The game also includes hints of the classic Star Wars music, but not enough in my opinion. This game also had a much darker feel to it (even with playing the light side) than the first game. There a few new force powers available to you and different fighting stances to learn.
All in all the game is okay, but I expected better.
Good Game

It's appropriate to first announce that the game has faults. A great deal of bugs, repeated dialogues, glitches that can be unfavorable or the opposite, and holes in the plot. I guess why so many people think it is inadequate compare w/ KOTOR is that this game is more...complicated. We no longer have the simple yet meaningful romance with someone, or the drama of uncovering one's past. This time, the romance is with a whole brigade of chicks, yet it is hard to get anywhere because of this whole new influence thing. This is not to say that it's a bad thing, KOTORII requires the player to think and be smart on what to say and who to placate in order to manipulate their alligance and feelings. The plot is more...involved. Cutscenes have tripled compare with the original, and it seems there's a certain higher purpose to the final goal than just saving the galaxy and win over the girl. The game is somewhat confusing because you are trying to figure out the reason for your PAST actions, which is futile until the very end. Assuming you still want a forward bonding relationship with a single character, and also save the galaxy and see some consequences for saving it, then u r going to be disappointed. However, if you can go a bit deeper than the superficial thrill for grand ramifications, then u might discover why this game is truly more...complicated, and could be better than the first.

This game isn't as buggy as i expected and I found it bareable once I patched the game. After discovering the cut content from this game it drastically lowered my rating. Also the ending was kind of weak but overall a good game worth playing on a decent computer.

For me this game is better than the original. I have this game for the Xbox and play this game the most. There is so many ways to play the game it can get addictive and ultimately fun. If you have the game for the computer you can play this great game anywhere. The items in the game change every time you start a new game. The number of new games you can have at once is almost unlimited and the game play can be different each time you play the game. If you love the star wars saga you might like this game.
EEEKS...Point and Click.....Yawn!!!!

Such great visuals and I love most of the Star Wars RPG/Shooters, BUT, I cant believe this is a point and click game. I was hoping KOTOR2 would have implimented a normal battle engagement. Theres nothing worse than toggling thru menus etc during an intense battle and actually having to turn around, click the target, then engage someone else after the kill. The days of Boulder's Gate point-n-click should be over, but I guess theres a crowd for this type of gameplay. Still a good game, but dissapointed.
