For me this game is one of the best games i have ever had!

i don`t think there is comming any other game on the gamecube like Resident Evil.

i will allso buy me the other Resident Evil II and the others, wich will come allso on Gamecube!

this game is the best Re game ever made it is scary and creepy but also very fun. this is the best version of Re # 1. this game will provide you with hours of fun. The zambies look real like and the graphics are cool. the puzzles are nothing an Re expert cant handle. the only bad part of the game are the controls and camera angles but hey thats good enough for me.
other then that this game is awsome buy it

This is one of the best games on Gamecube. I knew I would enjoy having a gamecube. Gamecube has awesome games like this one. the graphics in this Resident Evil game are so real. I'd give a 10 in graphics. This game was pretty scary when I rented it especially all the times I played it at night with the lights of and my door closed. Theres lots of surprises that make you jump and their just my be something right around the corner that will get you. So its full of suspense and fun. I like how the game length is 2 discs because then you'll be playing a fun game for a long time. I don't have this game yet but when I have enough money I have to get it. Theres nothing they needed to do to make this game cooler. The only thing and I mean only thing that I dont like is when you go open a door it takes like ten seconds for the person to open it. I dont know whats up with that but I guess its not so bad. Well it's a great game so if you have a gamecube buy this game. If you don't have a gamecube buy it it's an awesome system.

The evil begins in this great game for Nintendo Gamecube. They keep this game as scary as the originals were but alot scarier. The graphics are the best of the best so far. It's going to be a long time when a game can beat these graphics(to an exception to the sequals). The controls are perfect. The game is very long it is definintly the best game ever created.

Graphics- 10/10- The graphics are perfect
Controls- 9/10- Controls great but takes a little bit to get used to them.
Story- 9/10- Story is good and creepy but some things dont make great sense.
Overall- 10/10- Best game I have ever played. If you are not a Gamecube fan it is worth buying the Gamecube for just this game.

This game is great. I never played the original Resident Evil, but as an avid video gamer I had heard a lot about the original, so I decided to buy the remake. I was not dissapointed. Game play is great. The mansion is huge, and there is much to be explored. The only drawback with this game as others have stated is the controll scheme... It's pretty bad. I found though that if you switch to the 3rd control scheme it's quite a bit easier to get around. All around a great game!

This seriously is the best game I have ever played! Many may complain against it's odd rotate and move control style. This is quickly resolved after the player gets used to it after about an hour. It's Graphics are simply brilliant and it's it's lighting effects are unbelievable. From time to time I have often found myself stopping in a room to admire it's eerie atmosphere.

Some may think it is a basic shoot-em-up game. This is not true for plenty of strategy and puzzles are included. For example, proper ammo managment is crucial to surrvival, and gradually you will collect clues (Such as diary's, pictures, and letters.) and piece them together to discover an extrodinary plot.

To sum things up, This is a must have for any gamecube owner! My advise is: Buy this game!

That is exactly what this game is!! it is without a doubt the best visually / atmospheric / complex game at present. Ok its a remake but do not let this fool u or put u off. It plays like a completely different game. I played the PSone version and yea its similar but i find myself not recognising very much. Some of the puzzles and the layout of the mansion have been altered. There is nothing out there at the moment that can compare to RESIDENT EVIL for GC. The amount of detail that has been put in is ridiculous, the animation, sound effects, smoothness of gameplay just add to making this game so amazing. Its also a tough game and will last. The look of realism will leave u thinking O.M.G!. It looks like you are playing a film.
This game definately warrants it's 'M' rating, its NOT FOR YOUNG eyes. A recommended buy for all you horror gamers out there. Enjoy.

Fantastic game!! In my opinion, I think its better than Eternal Darkness. Don't get me wrong, its also a great game too. I love to play as jill because she has an easier level and Chris is a challenge. Jill has grenade Launger and Chris has a pistol. So far I have beaten the game a bunch of times and it keeps making me want to play some more.

Love the game but hate that I had to buy a new system

Let's just say AWESOME! The look of the Gamecube version of this game is spectacular. There is no way to describe the difference in this version and the original this one is so far beyond anything I had imagined for this game.
For me personally I wish they had a way to dumb down the game for someone like me who loves the game but isn't too good at playing it:) But that's my problem.
My complaint is that I had to buy a new system in order to get this game. I mean I could make the choice not to buy, but then again I couldn't could I because I love Resident Evil.
The game is a little hard for someone with my skill level, but for others who are highly skilled it probably won't be.

This game shines above it's previous installments and makes you wonder if you actually ever played Resident Evil at all once you play this one.
