The Game That Made History!

Well i have played Resident Evil and i am going to give fans a true outlook about it. Now let me start off by the stroy line. I think remaking this game was one of the best things they did. They added more to the story and made the game much more scary and hard. I think i am so proud on how they put the extra get 4 mask and the coffin's chains will break and you will be confronted with the undead. Also the story about Lisa who became a science project for those wokring at the time in the mansion. Those two plus a couple of extras they added. I was so proud of. I think they did an excellent job in the stroy line. On to graphics, Now this is something i am very happy about. I mean you have to admit the graphics for this game is out of this world!

I mean they did it so perfect down to the T. They made it look so life like which many fans hated from the original that was made in 1996. Graphics and story get 5 stars. Now on to controls, Please, Fans, And people. You have to understand that the game it's self has nothing to do with how the controls work. If anything it would be the controller it's self that is hard to come by but it has nothing to do with the game. Many fans and people have complain that the controls are a little difficult which at times i can agree upon, being the fact sometimes i run into walls and sometimes i'm a pro in going str8. But people must understand that the game it self is not the fault it's the controller of the game cube and how it was designed to work for all types of games.

Since the game cube controller made it a tad bit difficult to come by with working with the game i must give controls 4 stars. Now on to how scary it was. If you shut your lights off and put the volume loud(Depending what time is it). You will get this scary sensation that you are actually in the game! The sound that the zombies and other creatures make are so scary that it makes your heart race. What else is scary that sometimes you can be walking and next minute you know a zombie could jump right out the door and this haunting music comes on the zombie is coming for you. It is very scary! Much more scary then the orignal one in 1996. Music, Sound effects i give that 5 starts.

Now, All in all this game gets 4 stars! Why 4? Cause remember cause of the gamecube controller and how it was made, made the game a tad bit hard. But you will get totally use to it after a while. Other then that i advise fans as well as someone who is curious of buying this game and is reading this right now to purchase it. Every single thing the game had and the story line was right on the money. They did an excellent job! Stay tuned, Cause early 2004 "Resident Evil 4" for gamecube will be released! Keep a look out on game sites for news and the offcial date of release.

Don't have nightmares...

This game is absolutely amazing! I originally thought that Resident Evil was just about destroying zombies but it's so much more! The graphics are so realistic that sometimes you think you are actually watching a movie. Unfortunately, the dubbing is horrible and looks like the programmers spent 30 minutes perfecting it. Otherwise, the lighting and the details of the rooms are superb and totally scary. You walk around in the dark, with only zombies to keep you company. You hear the footsteps and the frightening moans of a zombie and when you turn the corner...BAM!!! You getting devoured by a zombie. Really creepy stuff here. The puzzles are sufficent, but not too challenging. Keeping up your health and ammo is the hard thing. Overall, it is a killer game (literally, MUA HAH HAH HAH!!!) So try it! You just might like it...

Wow, an amazing game. From the starting cut-scene (which shows of the cubes immense power and blows you away) you are trown into one of the beststorylines of all time. The graphics are perfect and although you need to get use to the controls the don't serve a problem.
There are two playable characters. Each charater has a differnet game (For instense if you play JILL you get help from BARRY along the way but if you play as CHRIS you find that REBBECA helps you) and 6 differnet ending between them so you have to complete in 12 times, massive replay value. And there are cool unlockables like costumes and guns and new modes too.
This game does need you to do alot of thinking and at times it can be pretty scary. This game ids for any RESIDENT EVIL fan or those want something new.

This game is more than a game, it's an event. The rare kind of thing that I could sit and watch someone else play for hours! It's like watching a interactive movie; excellent! Turn out all the lights, make sure to have a friend or someone sit with you to help you figure this game out. It is such an exciting piece of work, there are so many different scenerios; the game feels like it has a life of it's own and it's never the same twice. Constant changes, mysterious clues and enough blood, gore, monsters, traps and action to satisfy anyone who ever drempt of being in a horror movie! Firepower, and unbelievable scary graphics- like walking in an old building with mirrors in the corners that really give you a "live" reflection! The first night I played there was a zombie in the bottom of an ick filled bathtub, the game prompted me "pull the plug", as I could not see what was in the tub, when I drained the tub a zombie emerged filthy, disgusting and ready to devoue my flesh ! Ohhh! Great game, the best I've ever played! The highest recommendation!

This game is long spanning at two disks. the story line was great but you can be two different charicters Jill and Chris. Dont expect to get far without a strategy guide.7 Varis bosses as Crimson head elder,Plant 42,Yawn,Black Tiger,Neptune,Lisa Trevor,and Tyrant.

Best RE game to date.

I have had this game since about a month after it came out and has been my favorite ever since. Just about every aspect of the game amazed me. The graphics were excellent, the sound was amazing, and the story was unmatched. The only exception to this was the controls. Having never played a Resident Evil game before, the controls were very confusing. It took me quite a while to get used to them. But after a few hours of play they came very naturaly to me. The story starts off very slow but as you uncover clues to what happened in the mansion, it picks up and moves like a speeding bullet. It constanly keeps a sence of sheer terror and fear through-out the entire game. If you have played the original game on the PlayStation this game is worth a buy because the story has changed quite a bit, Capcom has added new areas and improved the graphics to an insane degree. The game is extremely challenging, even on the easiest setting. I have played the Resident Evil 0 once and it was not as scary or as hard so this is why I state the RE remake to be the best in the series. But RE 0 is still a great game though.

This is by far the best action game their is out their. The graphics are some of the best detailed i have seen, and to top that off this game is long so you wont get board with it, it hais awsome puzleing parts and cool boses, this game rules

Resident Evil is defanentally gamecubes best game ever if you are into survivor/horror games. The game is VERY well thought out and has many twists and turns. I will give you an online review and I hope you play Resident Evil.

GRAPHICS: I give it a 10. The graphics on this game are top-notch. So when you really get scared, the graphics really add to the effect.

SOUND: I give it an 8. The sound is really good and everything but, the character's lip movements do not really match the sound most of the time. And sometimes the sound kind of fuzz's up so it is unclear.

CONTROLS:I give it a 9. If you ever do decide to play this game, the conrols are hard to learn at first. But after you play for a while, the controls become normal and easy.

GAMEPLAY:I give it a 10. The game, like I said, is very well thought out. There are many puzzles ranging in difficulty, and many relief times in the game. The gameplay is what the story is made up of. They even added in an extra storyline with the Trevor family.

REPLAY VALUE:I give it a 7. The game is very fun, yet once you play it the second and third time it becomes normal and you know when things pop out at you. But there are extra modes that allow you to play the game and have that challenge. Such as, Kamakize Zombie, Invisible Enemies, ect.

The overall rating for this game is an 8.8. That is a pretty good rating. There were many flaws in the game like, during movie clips, they pause and then continue inbetween different views. I loved the game and hope you do to.

I am speechless. This is truely an amazing game. I can't cpunt how many times I have jumped out of my seat. I haven't seen better graphics then this ever. It only has one minor flaw: The controls (but you get used to them in no a day or two). I only have to say one thing. If you own a GameCube: GET THIS GAME. Believe me it won't let you down.

When this game was released, it was by far the best game for the cube. Despite the fact that better games have come out it is still one of the greatest games for the cube. There is no doubt it is the best game of its genre out of all the systems. The story line is by far the best part and the story line has multiple outcomes, so everytime you play it something new will happen. The graphics are amazing. My only complaints about the game is that it is very hard to beat it without a guide book and the controls are a little hard to grapple at first.
