This game is absolutly amazing! Capcom did an incredible job with this game. I'd say it's on par with MGS2(Metal Gear Solid 2). Absolutly incredible graphics, characters, environments, enemies, weapons, and plot! You must buy this game!

My friend first told me about this game and i was pretty skeptic. He went on about how the guy was the son of the devil and other weird things that I thought could never make a decent game. Eventulaly he got me to buy it and all I have to say is WOW. This game is amazing. It has graphics that must push my ps2 to its limits and terrific gameplay. It finds a way to combine every great aspect of a videogame into one masterpiece. Although the game might be a bit short there is always a new version of the game unlocked after beating it. The ONLY complaint that I have with this game is how unbelievably hard it gets once you get to Dante Must Die mode. It seems I cant go a minute without being jumped by 5 unbeatable enemies. Im not one of those guys that loves every game that he plays, I am very pickey. You should definatly buy this game, and if you dont buy it at least rent it, because I think it would be horrible for somebody with a ps2 not experience the pure joy that is "Devil May Cry"

The graphics are excellent. There is a lot of action. A LOT of action. You are not going to be walking around worlds for 5 hours trying to fiqure them out, bored out of your mind. You have several different weapons to choose from. The game play is easy. Overall, a very very fun game!! This is easily the best game on PS2 or that I've ever played. Buy it!! Trust me. If you have a PS2, you must own this game. Can't wait for part 2!!!!

Devil May Cry is the best game I have played in a long time. It is challenging and has great gameplay. Doesn't have long scene cuts and has a high replay value.

I really like this game :) I usally get sick form playing 'First Person Shoters' (yes, now you know there are someone who gets sick from playing games), but this didn't make me want to ralf :) PLAY! IT'S FUN!

This game rocks. I bought it for my husband as a gift (although I really wanted it). The graphics are beautiful and the game is very cool. When you watch the intro it seems like it is going to be completely corny, but once you start playing it is not corny. This game is very much like Resident Evil and since it is made by Capcom there is no surprise there. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone!

I just finished playing this game and it is the best PS2 game I have ever played. The graphics - Amazing. The control - Smooth. The movies - excellent. The only thing that was lacking alittle was the motivavtion behind each of the missions independantly otherwise very very cool.

It's simple... I just bought a car and I cannot afford to buy this game. (...)Bottom line...if you have (enough money) or more, put some gas in the tank and go get the game. If you don't have a playstation 2, and you have (enough money)... I say forget the other stuff you can buy with that and get a PS2 along with a copy of this game. I must admit, I didn't think it would be super super great from the commercials on TV, however when I saw the opening story animation that changed... let's just say that if it were a movie, my new list of fav. movies would be The Matrix and Devil May Cry. Well I really didn't say much about the game's attributes but, if you rent it you'll understand.

it is a little of soul reaver and a little of onimusha warlords, but devil may cry is a realm of its own. the most sylish of all games created by shinji mikami, the game does not concern itself with ammo (there's plenty of it!) but goes straight for the adrenalin rush. and the fighting styles and sequences? works better than a jet li movie.
this game is full of little gems that you can't get enough of it. character designs are superb to say the least and the bosses are some of the most challenging this side of action/survival horror universe.
this is a must have for all ps2 owners!
