I'M NOT SOME GAME HEAD, BUT THIS GAME IS AWESOME. GREAT GRAPHICS, STORYLINE, UNEXPECTED TWIST AND TURNS.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

first of all,I first played this game when I rented Resident Evil:Code Veronica..........but as soon a the whole thing came out I rushed to the store and bought it.......anyway...Itz got great graphics and awsome weopons......but my favorite wuz the "Demon Trigger",which I call,"The Super Saiyin State".......this iz a must play game...I strongly recommend it as ur first PS2 video game........dats why I can say"This game iz worth more than the PS2 it self.

This is an insane button-mashing game, and is extremely addictive. Every hour or so, you'll say to yourself "this game is damn creepy" and "I can do THAT?" Dante is TOO cool, as he slices hordes or evil minions up with a sword or blasts them with a variety of guns, the neatest of which are the dual handguns you start with. The "easy" mode, which automatically fires the handguns fairly fast when you hold square is a big help, and the special attacks are something to behold. Oh, and there is a great plot, but who cares when the action is this good?

BEST ACTION GAME EVER ! !

Holy crap! I was blown away by the style of this game....well done. Fast paced, great graphics, super-mega easy puzzles so you can get right back to bustin caps! The only thing I don't really like about this game was the storyline....it's ok at first but the ending kinda blew...as well as I was done with game in less than a week. The controls are good but not on normal....never have I had such a bad cramp in my arm. If there was an auto fire button...it would be better...but I'm whining to much. Good game, one of the games that you have to play in your life!

DMC is a very very fun came, non-stop nardcore fighting and a bunch of cool weapons. The translation and the plot are laughable however, which makes for a lot of cheesy stuff and makes it just not that much of an enthralling tale. Ignore the story, the gameplay is great. The bosses become very difficult towards the end too, so look out!

I am sony's beiggest critic. I bought the PS2 and have been very dissapointed so far. I played Kessen, EverGrace, and TimeSplitters, was getting very worried that i wasted a lot of cash on a new DVD player.

Devil May Cry Made me feel much better. The graphics really amazed me, The fight scenes were a lot of fun. The charecter you play also kind of out guns the bad guys at least in the begiining, so you get a lot of chances to run into a room thats crowded full of monsters and just lay waste! The charecter has great personality, and a whole button on the controller is dedicated to taunting the enemy.

4 start instead of five for the audio. Some of the monsters talk and you can't follow becuase it's not clear. And again my major diapointment with ps2 is the the sound is in STEREO!? i bought the ps2 becuase i thought it would utilise my DTS system, it would be so much better if the sound used my rear speakers when something was behind me....

If your into fast paced slice and dice games with a large bucket full of gun slingin this is THE game for you! It is EXTREMLY addictive and a great play. The camera angles are the only thing left to be desired, but it is a small technical flaw. So if your in the mood for some demon killing...get it, play it, live it!

This game rocks! dont wait a second more buy this game!I really like the fast paced fighting lots of game take a while for every fight this one is great also i like it that lots of the time i am not aiming at those stupid off screen monsters. I really like being able to jump everywhere really fast and being able to move around.lots of the time in other games i get stuck and cant move so i die or i cant see my self.(mostly i cant see myself around corners in residents evil).the bad thing is it only took me like 13 hours to get through all the game!but then it does have the good other diffculties i like them specialy the last one.I think they should have made it a little harder on every diff overall i think that its one of the best game.

It's a fast paced roller coaster of violence, puzzles, and great graphics. It has a many perks to it that you don't find in many other games. Such as not dieing everytime you fall a great distance, and it has some features I haven't seen anywhere else.
It's something you should at least rent.
