This game is the latest installment of the super smash bros games, and boy is it a good one. It has many new content to explore and enjoy. This is a perfect party game since it allows 4 players to enjoy an environment that is chaotic.
Wonderful Game

I know you are probably wondering if this is better than Melee and worth getting. So simply put, it is. The game's adventure mode isn't half as annoying this time around as it is much longer and has saves. Most of the characters can be gotten in adventure, classic, or just playing versus a lot so pretty much you can just do whatever you want and you will get everyone which is definitely nice. The game also has a bunch of co-op things which don't really help unlock much except in adventure mode, but they are still are great fun with friends.
You also probably are wondering about smash attacks as well, well they aren't annoying, not at all. They don't ruin the gameplay or anything like that as you can dodge or avoid all of them. Another great addition is a stage builder feature which while it isn't as fleshed out as it could be, it still allows you to create your own dream stages in a relatively easy fashion.
Anyway long story short, its worth getting and its a great fighting game that is simple yet hard to master. You'll get your money's worth and spend many hours on this one.

Just take 2 minutes and read this. This is very EASY to do! It literally takes 10 minutes to setup. Simply follow the steps below. I promise you, this is 100% real. I wouldn't jeopardize my eBay account status if this was a scam. My feedback is real and I will answer you on any question! Here is what you do. Click on the link below, register, pick an account type (referral is the easiest) and complete just 1 offer (Very important that you complete the 1 offer otherwise your account will sit in limbo until you do). This is not like other sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3 different pages!!! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with nothing else to buy...No commitments!!!
There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use them to get a free iPod or cash (I did the Stamps.com for a 4 week free trial and it is free!). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you. After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 5-13 people (depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link (just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your referrals before the auction even ends.)
Then they will ship your free PS3 or your selected item for free, I chose the PS3. No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all the referrals. All you have to do is post it on EBAY or any message boards, blogs, face book, my space or any place you hang out at. ! They use us as advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which goes toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you want.
Step 1: Click this link: http://www.YourPS34free.com/index.php?ref=5322947
Step 2: Sign up and chose an account type (Referral is the easiest and best).
Step 3: Complete just 1 offer (like Blockbuster or Stamps.com) and refer up to 13 people to do the same (use eBay! Do what I did, copy my ad).

Feels a bit like a last F.U. to Sega

Admittedly, Super Smash Brothers Brawl is a lot of fun. The graphics are really improved, there's no slow-downs during play from the processor, and you can have fun weather you're a strategist or just a button masher. I'm not going to debate the merits of the game-play.
Like many who purchased this, I was a Sega loyalist back in the day. As such, one of the primary reasons I got this game is that it finally allows me the chance to bust out Sonic and pound that damned Italian plumber into marinara. I'm sure there were at least one or two others who purchased this game thinking the same thing.
Unfortunately, unless you're very lucky, you're going to have to go through a lot of game-play to unlock Sonic, and more than likely you're going to have to beat the crap out of him with a Nintendo character before you can play as him.
As I said before, it is a fun game, it's just that having Sonic buried like that feels like one last big "F*** YOU!" to the Sega gamers. And it may very well have been completely unintentional, but it still sucks that Mario's right there and ready for you, but you have to play for god knows how long before you can be Sonic.
If you're a fan of the series, pick it up. If you're an old Sega fan, get a DS and buy the Sonic Rush games.
Not my style... maybe for you?

I'm not big into fighting/versus type games. This is right up that alley. I was expecting something with a bit more depth, but it's very basic. It was fun to play as all the different characters, but that was about the extent of the enjoyment for me. I plan to sell my copy.

I don't like the game.
The control is loose. It's hard for me to make the character do what I want. I guess I'm more used to fighting games like tekken and soul caliber. It was fun for a bit, but it's hard to keep track of what's going on and the loose control just made me angry. traded it in after a couple of weeks.
gave it 3 stars for the sheer number of stuffs to unlock.
Not that great

I heard nothing but rave reviews about this game. Before you take my negative review seriously, you should consider that I played the game twice and never against anyone else. I think playing against someone may have been more fun. However, playing the storyline by myself was just boring. It wasn't really a fighting game, and wasn't really an action game, just a crazy mixture of the two. I found myself trying to use the special moves I learned from reading the book and strategy guide not to be that useful. I got better results by just mindlessly punching and kicking, which takes a lot of the fun out of the game. Luckily, I sold this one to a friend and his kids love it. Overall, I was disappointed, but I may just be too picky.
Harder than we thought...

We hadn't tried the other smash brothers games, so we didn't really know what to expect. We recently purchaed a Wii and our kids (8, 6 & 4) all love the Mario Kart game that we purchased. Even the 4 year old can play that one. This game is much harder, though and we wouldn't really recommend it for the casual gamer family.
Fun but not "wii"

The game is fun, the stage, the action, the characters are all fun. However, it is not a true "wii" game. The game doesn't use any motion catching tech, which means you are definitely playing a conventional game with the old-styly control mode. Even worse, you can not use your controller to move the arrow on the screen!
It's a fabulous game, while it is not a true "wii" game.
