Great. So I put the game into my Wii and get a DRE every time. Awesome. This is what I get for being fool enough to get a Wii at launch? Terrible. Had to go to a friend's just to play it, I was NOT impressed at all. Ended up giving SSBB to him, had my Wii sold for fifty dollars an hour later. Nintendo's done for as far as I'm concerned.

I have the bestselling edition of melee, the second addition to this series. For those of you who have never played, the series pits famous charecters from popular games against one another in battle. There are charecters to unlock by completing certain events, or by besting them in battle. if you get the Wii, get this game.

Instead of a review, I'm going to unleash an awesome idea, and this is the perfect place to put it: Super Smash Brothers for the DS. If you are reading this, and you have any connections at all with Nintendo, tell them there are people out there begging for a game like this. SUPER SMASH BROS DS. Best. Game. Ever.
nah, maybe not the best for Wii..........

Yeah sure this game may be good but after playing the first and the second super smash bros, they got boring after u get everyone ad all the levels. It never really changes in one player so the storylie gets old pretty quick. If i were u, i would look at something more along the lines of the game( Medal of honor, airborne, or (RED steel). The new REvolution's remote changes the way u can hold ur gun. When u tilt the remote, ur gun does the same thing which brings about a new generation in gameware. But, if ur just a kid and u cant really get anything violent, this new super smash bros brawl is probably good for u. OH yeah, another thing, This revolution could very well outsell any other consol, because for one, who is going to get a ps3 for 6oo bucks?? thats called wasting ur money on something that doesnt even include all the features the revolution has. And if ur thinking about getting that Xbox 360, forget it. it may have good games, but hhow do we know Microsoft didnt just take the hardrive and the original junk out of the first xbox and jjust stick it in a new body that looks nicer and say it was new??????? WEll, its ur choice but i would pick the outstanding revolution that will change the way we look at games.
P.s, just be sure not to be a geek and play on for hours. Go read or something.

If any of you have read my Kingdom Hearts II or Ocarina of Time review you will know my real name is Yeats. I was in my school cafeteria when I had heard about SSBB. My friend Ian told me all of the new characters: Pit, Wario, Menanyte, Zero Suit Samus, and... Snake? Snake?! SNAKE?!!! I started cracking up when I had heard this. Ian thought I was crazy but... Do you think I'm crazy. Oh I'll show you who's crazy. You're crazy!!! I'm the only one who's not crazy!!!! Sorry... I lost control. Um... yeah. I'm serious you have Kirby, Picachu, Pichu, Jigglypuff... then Snake?!!!
One thing I'm happy about is that Link will appear in his Twilight Princess outfit. Plus there will be special moves resembling that of Limit Breakers in this game.
I heard.....

I heard that in this game Samos isn't going to wear that armor suit but a skull suit like from MGS2, and Solid Snake is going to be there too.

So being a fan of nintendo since I was 2 years old this game is a must have for me. I've been conjuring up to play this game for such a long time and fnally, here it is. This game is by far, the best wii game to have come out yet. I should not have to explain anything else, if you have a wii, buy this, don't listen to the negative reviews, unless you don't like to have fun, then be my guest and shoot yourself. :D

A year and a half ago I stood in line on release day to buy a wii. I didn't buy it for the motion controls or the VC or whatever. I bought it because my gamecube broke and I needed my smash bros. fix. I might of also wanted Zelda. The point is since the release, the console has had a few titles that are good additions to the system. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is not only a good addition, it's the best game on the console.
The Gameplay is simple: Choose a Nintendo Mascot from Mario to newcomers Pit and Olimar, deal damage to your opponents, knock them off the stage, repeat. You'd think this wouldn't work and yet it's one of the best formulas out there. This formula isn't changed much in Brawl but it never really should be changed. The point of making a sequel to melee is to add more stuff to it. And add more they did. Brawl has a total of 21 starting characters and 16 unlockables. The newcomers are an excellent addition and the veterans are well chosen, except they dropped mewtwo. The game contains around 25 all new stages with a few from melee also thrown in. Most of them are excellent, however some are unoriginal or feel like the stage from the old game (yoshi's island). There are also new items, trophies, stickers, and music for you to use and unlock.
Theirs the standard multiplayer which is perfect as always, but this time Nintendo added a robust single player adventure mode, The Subspace Emmisary. It's a great idea, put all the characters together in a story mode. The downside is it's boring. The gameplay of it is just repetitive, and the plot line isn't very well written. However if you do need to go through the story mode with your favorite characters the Subspace Emmisary is around 8 hours long and unlocks most of the characters.
This is also the first version to allow you to fight online. Now I'm not sure if it's my wii or my location (Alaska) but it hasn't worked at all for me. Other reviews say it has so I guess it does... However if you play xbox live don't expect much online support at all. No voice chat, no gamertag. Just log on and fight annonymously.
The thing new thing that interested me most is the stage builder. This is a mode that allows you to construct your own fighting stage, you choose the background, the platforms, the music, and can save it to your wii or SD card to share. And apparently Nintendo releases one user made map a day to everyone to play on. So if you possibly get bored of all the maps in the game (which won't happen) you can have a different stage every day.
In conclusion, Multiplayer=awesome. Single player= not so awesome. Online=disfunctional. Stage builder=added replay value, not like you need it.
Super Marion Galaxy was Ok, Zelda was epic, and The Godfather had unbelievabely good use for the wii remote. This is just plain fun. Really fun. If you like having fun, buy this game. And if you don't have a wii, buy a wii, then this game.
