What are you waiting for ?!

You have the Nintendo 64 console? You have the Expansion Pack? Obviously you should have a controller, so there isn't any reason why you should wait more time to buy Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Zelda is a Classic, so every word I type here wouldn't reach the quality of this Game Series. Especially Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which received 10 out of 10 from many respectable Game reviewers. All of these facts, guarantee that Zelda: Majora's Mask is and will always be a Best Seller for N64.

About the technical stuff... The graphics are perfect. Using the Expansion Pack for High-Res 3D scenarios, characters, you certainly won't be disapointed. Sound...well, can't remember any reason why this game would lack of an excellent Soundtrack. Control and Fun Factor certainly will be maitained from Ocarina of Time, so, expect quality.

That's it, just buy it and have fun! :)

Hi, I just play this import game, it's really cool you might even say better than OOT. First off the traditional overworld theme is back to all of thoses complainers. In Talmina everybody has a life of their own instead of just Link in other worlds NPC's (or non playable characters) have AI or Artificial intelligence. There are four different instruments and 24 different mask and you can transform into a dekushrub, a goron, and a zora. However there are only three days before the world ends and the moon crashes so you use your ocarina to travel back in time to day one. there are alot of minigames but I think thew coolest is the goron racing is is a clone EPISODE 1 racing. There is alot of detail. A dog hates dekushrubs, like Zoras, and are scared of gorons. It's really cool when traveling. Instead of just plain old fields they're alot like the tradional Zelda: A link to the past.

As you know, Majora's Mask is the sequel to the ever popular and award-winning Ocarina of Time. This time, Link is not in Hyrule saving the Triforce, he is in a new place unlike any other he has been to. The land of Termina is the new location for this epic quest to start and finish in a brillaint Zelda type way. Now I know what your thinking; is this game a total rehash of the original and the answer would be no. Simply put, this game will be the most original thing you will play in ages. Not only is this game exceedingly odd and weird, the actual gameplay is somewhat different too. You don't have all day to slack and sit around waiting for something to happen, because the world could end your little struggle with thoughts. The 3 day system has been given a harsh wrap, but that was due to the fact that we really didn't get the idea of it until the game was in our hands, even then, it was a bit confusing. But in all honesty, it really isn't that hard to figure out, because you have so much time to figure out what to do. But your wondering if there is a downfall now, right? Well, to be honest, there is a little bit of a downfall, and that is the start of the game is very confusing and very overwhelming, but that is it. The game has no flaws what so ever, so don't worry, because if you can make it past Clocktown and actually venture into the overworld of Termina, then you've conquered the tough part of the game. So another question arises, does this game play and/or feel better than Ocarina of Time? And the answer is yes, oh how true that is. In fact, the game is so much off the beaten path that you'll sometimes forget that your playing Zelda and think your playing some other RPG. Graphics and effects are also the best on the system, no kidding. Music wise, you will note that this soundtrack will be hailed as a god, this soundtrack will leave you in awe, because it is so finely tuned to the environment that you'll find yourself just sitting there and listening to it. Great job Koji Kondo. Keeping this review short as possible, I just want to say that this game is everything you've come to expect from the series, if not more. It takes such a fresh new jaunt in a direction that most game developers are going to be wondering about for ages. You think you know Zelda? Try this game on for size.

A "Required" accessory for your Nintendo64 console!

This Zelda is truly amazing. You get all the flash backs from the previous LoZ: OoT plus whole new dungeons, puzzles, characters and much more! Hey people, I got this game through overseas delivery which cost me roughly 30dollars more. But it sure was worth it!

This is the best game ever. It has better graphics than any other N64 game and it has a great storyline. Everything about it is better than Ocarina of Time. If you own a Nintendo 64 and an expansion pak you should buy The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I admit that the time limit may be annoying at first but you'll get used to it. You can slow down the hands of time using by playing the song of time backwards. I pity those who hate the game because of the time limit ....

Best game ever

This is the most amazing game I have ever seen. It is pure class. Great graphics and intricate story line. Clever use of time traveling. Don't buy this unless you have played and completed the ocarina of time or you will have no idea what's going on.

As good as Ocarina of Time (in my opinion)

The very first time I played this game I didn't like it at all considering I only had three days to do everything, so I didn't play it for a while. Then when I started playing it again and started figuring everything out I thought it was as good as the Ocarina of Time! The graphics are the same and most of the characters are the same as the OOT execept with different names and I think the animation is a little more colourful. Since there are less levels, the game is a bit shorter than the OOT if are just trying to beat the game and nothing else (even though the dugeons are a little more challenging). But there are a lot more sidequests since you have a lot more masks to find and you get to interact with other characters more which makes the game a lot more fun and actually quite a bit longer. Another thing they added to make the game better is giving you masks that transform you into different characters like a Deku Scrub, a Goron, a Zora, and even something else if you can get all the 20 or so regular masks. And even some other masks give you powers like the bunnyhood which allows you to run faster. And the blast mask which I don't really get the point of since you wear it and it blows up in your face then you lose some health. But I guess if you're low on bombs and don't feel like finding some you'd just pull out the blast mask and explode it. There are a lot of other cool masks but one other thing I liked was that you got to go on the moon at the end of the game; it's really nice up there with grass and a shady tree, not what you would expect. There are some new Ocarina songs and one even allows you to make a clone of yourself when you play it. I like the whole concept with how the days go by and everyone has thier own schedule because it makes the game more realistic. But sometimes I wish I could have a little bit more time since sometimes you feel rushed and when you restart anything you accomplished is pretty much forgotten, but it's still an interesting concept. The one thing I don't really like is you can't just save and turn the game off, you either have to restart from day one or find a checkpoint, go there, save the game, then turn it off. And even after you do that, the next time you go to play the game, if it gets turned off you have to start back on day one. But either way, if you liked the Ocarina of Time, this is a nice sequel to it and I would suggest buying it. And if you could, buy the version on gamecube that has the four classic Zelda games with this one included. You won't regret it!

I may have over exaggerated

Ok, maybe my last review wasn't so accurate, but anyway. The game is good overall. It has good graphics, good music, on and on. It's not easy, and the whole time flow thing may be frustrating, but you'll get the hang of it eventually. Some people say it's better than Ocarina of Time, others say it's not, I say, if you want to save a barn and two cute girls from menacing UFOs, help the lead singer of a Zora Band get her voice back, help a couple where the man has been cursed, and his lover desperratly waits for him, get back together, and be joined in holy matramony, bring justice with a group of street kids, help a stubborn king find his lost daughter, save an entire race from freezing over, and help a father shut his son up! Bring life back into a dead kingdom, and, most importantly, save a town and the entire surounding land from a giant falling moon, get a once friend back, and take the precious stolen mask to the happy mask shop salesman, then buy the game! I doubt you will be dissapointed.

Worth every penny you spend on it

I am a huge Zelda fan. I have been since 1986 when the first one came out. I was little then, but I just remember how I couldn't stop playing it. I bought Majora's Mask when it first hit the shelves and I'm still addicted to it, even though I've beaten it 4 times and collected all the masks. This game has everything the classic Ocarina of Time had. Mazes, beautifully rendered landscapes, and a truckload of side quests and challenges. The transformations (especially when you become Oni Link) are just amazing. It took me a little while to beat it (11 days to be exact), but I didn't use a strategy guide. I think strategy guides spoil the upcoming events. As human Link, Deku Link, Goron Link, and Zora Link, you'll explore the seemingly endless plain of Termina Field, tropical swamps, a majestic ocean, and snow-covered mountaintops. You will uncover many mysteries in this game as well. Anyway, this is a great game, and if you're crazy about Zelda, you've got to check this out.

I own every Zelda game ever made. Including Game Boy, Roms, imports etc. Majora's Mask is a vast improvement over anything the Zelda team has produced. Moreover it is a vast improvement over anything Nintendo had made. I am very hard pressed to find anything made by DreamCast or even PS2 yet, that is even comparable as far as story, gameplay etc...The graphics on the PS2 and DreamCast are better, but that is the machine not the game. Previous Zelda games have taken in between 6 and 24 hours gaming time to complete. This game will take much longer as it is quite challenging. The complaints and comments I have read regarding the time limit are totally unfounded and largely sad. The limit on time is an absolutely essential part of the game. This game does require a serious investment of time, if you do not have the time that is your problem and not the games. There is ample time to explore etc...There are many songs etc...that let you manipulate the way time flows. If you are a "Real" gamer you will certainly enjoy this game it is wonderful, ranking right up there with Mario Kart (snes only), Metroid (snes), GoldenEye (n64), Rouge Spear (PC only), and of course Ocarina of Time. This is a wonderful single player game, just stay away from the strategy guides and understand you will put forth about 100 hours before you accomplish your main objective, not to mention the myriad of side quests ever present
