Looooooooveeeeeeeeee killing people and then the police to get the max in evil points. Havent been good yet but ill get around to it.

One comment, everyone says you can have kids, no you cant. You can get married, but your wife(s) never have children. ]
Not that i care, but, im just correcting all these other guys.

well i dont really have this game but from what ive read it sounds like alot of fun. but then you have those people who it seems like all they can do is say negative comments. but lets think here for a second. how can you belive what most of these people say if they dont even know how to spell right? basically what im getting at is dont read the reviews that are bad. go to xbox.com and watch the previews of they look good buy the game. heck thats what i did. dont let some people who don't know how to spell ruin a game for you.

It will NOT be better than Halo 2, but still very good

This game is very cool. I love the A.I. of all the characters, and especially love the fact that you age over time. I enjoyed how use of magic will affect how your age and that skills increase depending on how your use them. Good or evil, it doesn't matter, every path is unique and fun. After all, for every choice, there will be a consequence...

Fable was suppossed to be the end all "life simulater" of RPGs. In the end, it's only a visually impressive RPG that falls short on several basic levels. Instead of a massive review I'm just going to break this down into Pro's and Con's.

Pro:
-- Visually impresive graphics with detailed surroundings

-- Fun combat system that's faster than Knight's of the Old Republic (KOTR) but very similar

-- Good and bad deeds influence the appearance of your character

-- Tattoo customization is cool and easy to do

Con:
-- You can't customize the gender of your hero. This is just a basic for all RPGs and they really dropped the ball on this.

-- The story is pretty short (but well crafted) and can be played through in about 12-16 hours even with side quests.

-- Interaction with other characters seems artificial and there's never really any pairing up with NPCs.

-- You're limited to exploring only along specific "paths". You just can't run off into the woods because you'll hit an invisible barrier.

-- Enemy AI is pretty sorry. Just look for a pattern of attack and exploit it.

Bottom Line: This is a visually impressive game with a good story and should be bought used. It's just not worth full price. For all the hype, it really felt like the story should have been a lot longer and there should have been more customization options. If you want a great RPG go get KOTR or Baldur's Gate II.

Dissapointing

When I bought this game I thought that it would contain at least 20 hours of gaming. Geeze was I wrong. I got maybe 8 hours out of this and that was with discovering like every possible thing you could do in the game. I will try to be as unsubjective as possible. This was supposedly a groundbreaking new RPG that was going to be amazing. First the good points. The customizability of the game is pretty cool and the types of armor, swords, and skills was definitely more than I expected. Another thing that I really liked was that you could make your guy physically larger. Now for the bad news. The graphics in general left me with a N64 feeling instead of xbox and came off as cartoonish with the large hands and feet. The only thing that was detailed was the main character. Everything else was quite pixelated. Secondly, the ease at which I beat this game was unprecedented. Quite possibly one of the easiest games I have ever played. And the story was pretty unoriginal. The thing that dissapointed me the most was this could have been an excellent knight type of RPG if it was: 1. 2-3 times longer 2. the graphics had a significantly larger amount of time put into them 3. If it wasn't so closed in with the area you could explore-then it would have been an excellent game.

Excellent game for people into RPGs. This game is totally addictive once you get into it. However, this game has two major flaws:

1) It's TOO short. I literally went through all the major quests and a majority of the minor ones within a week. If you're used to months of game play (ie, Legend of Zelda), in this aspect Fable will disappoint.

2) There is NO Xbox Live downloadable content. This game is Xbox live aware...meaning you can chat with your friends, which is ok but I can do the same thing with my phone. I was very much hoping that I could download new weapons, new quests, maybe a new map, etc. But this is not the case with this game.

Overall, this game is great, but I suggest buying a pre-owned copy for $20 or less. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have paid $40.

So far not so good...

I think this game's a tad overrated. The music is brilliant, a little overdramatic yet appropriate for an epic medieval adventure. The graphics are good although I think they could be enhanced with smoother rendering. The animation is quite poor, the characters' movements are often jolted and unsteady. Above all; the controls are ridiculous! There is way too much toggling between social interaction and combat. There are too many commands which rely on the same controls and you will often find yourself doing something purely by accident which, depending on the situation, could get you into trouble. The menu screens are needlessly complicated and there is often too much to think about during a relatively simple mission. Otherwise, I think this game could've been much better if they had've toned it down a notch.

Ok so almost every review on this web site is saying that fable is a bad game or some garbage like well there wrong.I just got this game this morning at 7.30 eastern time from my parents for an early X-mas present. but after my first 2 hours I knew it was gonna the game I will be playing for a long time to come.This RPg lets you forge your own character he can be good or evil,the choice is yours.Also I say this Rpg Shouldnt be rated m for mature it should be rated t for teen because when you look at it its a funny sort of a story they give you.
I give the graphics 2stars beacause it realy ist that good when you look at it.
The audio i give 1 star 0 stars cause there really isnt a sound track its just the same sounds over ansd over again.
Now I gave the game play 3 stars its exelent (I didnt give it five stars cause the graphics deserve some of the credit)

What can I say about this game that hasn't already been said... well nothing really. It's a fun game that can be played many ways. It is like almost all other games, you have to do certain things to complete the game but you can pick how you play the game and how you want to be seen. Just go out and get the game.. you know you want to.

Fable is a awesome game.If you liked zelda this is kinda like it. Anyway, this is a tight game.
