Mario is pretty good

Paper Mario is a decent game. The graphics, story, and characters are all gravy. However, the battle sequences are similar to Pokemon in which you choose your attack and wait to see if it is successful. Personally, I prefer jumping on or punching enemies, but whatever you like! Overall, it's pretty groovy. Aloha!

I really enjoyed Paper Mario. I finished it within a week, but that was only 'cuz I rented it and I don't like returning a game I haven't beaten. It probably would've taken me a lot longer if I hadn't been so dedicated to it. The battle sequences are a lot of fun, especially once you upgrade your party members. I was a little disappointed that the BP(Badge Points) maximum was 30, which means Mario is limited to activating a very few powers at a time. Still, that did not deter me. It also would've been nice if the Castle was back on the ground after you beat it, but that may be good for some people 'cuz you can go back and battle Bowser again after you have beaten it. I felt that way about Ocarina Of Time, 'cuz the bosses were so cool in that game. But back to the topic, Paper Mario is definitely a great game to get if you like a good challenge and are willing to stick with it. Older gamers may feel it is too easy, though.

Paper MARIO is amazing. My review is probebly the same as the others but i just think i should share the joy. i'll keep it short. this is the best game since mario 64 or mario RPG. the role playing is awsome and the chars. u can get are so unique and each different attack u can get and badges and star powers and... well this isnt just an RPG its RPG toast with sweet creamy adventure butter spread on top with a dash of game play cinamon (or however u spell it) only NINTENDO could come up with. r u interested? u should be. A must buy game

Paper Mario is the most fun I have had on my 64 since.......who am I kidding it is the most fun I have had on my 64. Paper Mario mixes great graphics, amazing gameplay, funny charactors and funny cut scenes, and enuff fun to keep you hooked for weeks.Even though paper mario is a totally serious game ( saving the princess and all) it would take a pretty strong man not to laugh at the way they walk or the funny cut scenes. You will not be dissapointed with this game, even if you hate RPG's your still going to love this game. Also mario is not the only one getting all the action, every one from peach to kooper to the star spirits all help out mario. You will probally reconize most of the charactors in this game from previous games, but there are also some you have never seen before....END

Ok, now seriously this game is da bomb. The enviroment is great. The Mario line just keeps getting better. The game is very challenging for first timers. However, once you beat it you can beat the game in half a day.
Here are some cheats for the game:
iN tOAD tOWN AFTER YOU get the super boots in boo's mansion, go to Merlon's house and spin jump in his house 3 times. The quick change badge will fall fro the ceiling. It allows you to change party members without taking up a turn.
On Huff'N'Puff, use Bow on ultra rank and her fan smack to do ten damage. Then switch back to mario and use Star Storm from Skolar. You'll kill him in about 4-5 turns.
Do not use Chet Rippo ( the big blue dude standing next to the other Item shop. He ups one stat but lowers the other 2.
On any boss or hard to beat person, use Watt she does 5 damage for 0 FP. She breaks the defense rule.
When you have to pick what Mario hates after chapter 3 in Bowser's castle, pick Magikoopa, Koopatrol, and Hammer Bros. They give you 5-8 star points apiece.
If you need help on dry Dry Desert, go to Ign.com and type in Paper Mario. It gives you a map and tons of hints. Also it has walkthroughs and more cheats.

Paper Mario = Best Game Ever!! Paper Mario is the deepest, funnest, most addictive game I've ever played! This game is the game you'd like to replay 17 times before starting something new! Mario is my third biggest influence in life (...). Here how I'd rate this Game

Graphics - Appropriate... 5/5

Sound - Same catchy Mario theme we all know & love! 6/5

Story - Twice the depth of Super Mario World (My second favorite game ever) for the SNES. Fun to the Maximum! 6/5

Playability - Combat is turn-taking mode (i.e. Final Fantasy; Poke'mon; etc.) But tons more interactive. More fun then it sounds, much more, seriously! 5/5

Replay Value - Play it, play it again, play it three time, just friggin' play it!

Overall - BEST GAME EVER!! LINK & ZELDA AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON THIS (...) PLUMBER WITH WITH THE JUMP OF A THOUSEND BOX-SPRINGS! 1,000,000,000,000/5

Mario & Donkey Kong fans will literally eat this up, and spit it back out just so they can eat it again! To the deepest pits oh hell with all you who don't appreciate a virtual work of art like this! GET IT OR ELSE PREPARE TO LIVE A POINTLESS LIFE!!!

I bought this game 3 days ago, and i've been playing it non-stop! It's one of the best RPG games out there. Really nice gameplay, everything. The BIG problem I saw with this game is that it was too easy. I beat the whole game (collected every badge, every star piece, got every recipe etc..) in about 33 hours total. It was a little challenge, but not much. After you beat it, there is not much more to do which is what the problem was. All you could really do was fight old bad guys and play little games, but that's it. I really didn't like the movement of mario either. He didn't have as much as he had in Super Mario 64 like doing flips, cartwheels etc..I am still playing mario 64 alot also and having LOTS of fun! That's gotta be the best 64 game out there. In Paper Mario, after you beat the game, there's NOTHING at all to explore which is what brought the game down! IF you like RPG's (Final Fantasy, Poke'mon), DEFINATELY get this game. If you are looking for more of a challenge and lots of area to explore, i wouldn't really recommend this game. Later!

This is on My top list for best Nintendo 64 games!

Do you remember Super Mario RPG, for the Super nintendo? "Paper Mario" is the Sequel! As you might have heard, its called Paper Mario, and not Super Mario RPG 2, because Mario, and most everyone else, is flat like paper.. However, they are pasted in awesome 3-D worlds, like Shiver City, Gloomy Gulch, and so on. I Always, thought Super Mario RPG was an awesome, game, and Paper Mario, is right up there with it, maybe higher. The game is pretty easy, and thats the only bad thing.. Its such, a good game, that its sad that it is short.. On the other hand, even if your not very good at RPGs, its easy to pick up and learn. The story is good, and Along the way you will meet friends, like Sushi the Cheep Cheep, or Kooper the Koopa.. Most in which, will join your party, and help you through out the game. Luigi is even in the game! (He's not a main character though) this game has a, good story, lots of characters, and of course, Mario the famous Video game hero.. Over all, this is one of the best games of all time!

This game is by far, the absolute best game available for gamers of any system. It is a mix between serious RPG action to younger audiences with the cell-shading technique. The game is huge along with the story line. This is one of the games where you buy it, start to play it, call in sick for work, and just play for hours on end. I have to say that it's even better than Halo. Thats right! ITS BETTER THAN HALO!
