This is not a review of a game. After going through the multiple steps required to order a product, we find that the seller(Swank @home) will not ship to Canada. Could this information not be made clear before a person goes to all the trouble of placing an order, getting a password etc., only to meet with disappointment at the end of the process?

The original Super Mario RPG was a wonderful game! It was a WONDERFUL game. Why couldn't Nintendo have just done the same thing they did in that game, only with better graphics and a different story line? This game can hardly be called a sequel - it is rather a laughable farce.

Ok I bought this game for my lil brother, and u know what it stinks bad. There are too much talking and not enough action and adventure. Besides he doesn't know how to read, he's only 5. I thought this game is similar to Kirby and Yoshi. But I guess I was wrong. Not only is it boring, it is absolutely & ridiculously hard to play. My lil bro was bored with this game like after 15 minutes he played it. What a waste of money. Don't buy this game. Here's a quote from my 5 years old brother Aaron "This game is NO FUN". So don't buy it.

I am writing this review without having played the game ONCE but I am counting on it to be a great game nonetheless since Mario games have not disappointed me once.
I'd like to say that I don't really like turn-based RPGs (except for Lunar 2 and Chrono Cross) but I'm somewhat attracted to the cute colorful world of the mushroom kingdom and the characters of the game.
Remember Super Mario Brothers 3 back in 1990? Yeah that's the kind of fantasy we used to dream up in those days and when it finally became a game, it captured the essence of a platform game done right with tons of memorable music and wonderful characters/overworlds...it's the entire package that is the key to the winning formula, and what less can i say about the spectacular gameplay (how can a simple game with a jumping plumber be so much fun)- it lies in the depth of the exploration, the challenge and that replay value that keeps you going back.
Well, now Nintendo is doing it again with Paper Mario. I am counting on it to have all those elements I have stated above plus the first Nintendo 64 Mario adventure game that will keep me playing it over and over again. You can gather that I'm not too excited about Super Mario 64, which in it's own right is a brilliantly revoulutionary game which was unfortunately good while it lasted. After that it [playing and finding secrets and stuff] like a chore (similar to the classic Zelda:OoT).
With that, I hope that Paper Mario will bring you hours of joy and fun, because this is a seriously old-school game that is somewhat missing in action in today's context.
The GAMECUBE is almost upon us, so enjoy this final chapter in Mario's N64 run...meanwhile, I'll be getting this game and yes, Mario is still the one I adore, after all these years.
Well worth it!

Nintendo saw the direction that games were going...3-D characters in a relatively 2-D world...and spun it on its head. It worked.
The game is full of funny moments, strategy, and guaranteed Mario Brothers success. Do those crazy Italians ever really fail to deliver?

Paper Mario is one of the best games around, because it's very
challenging, fun, and has odd graphics. The objective of the game
is to rescue Princess Peach and the Star Gods from Bowser.
Terrific game!

This game was indeed a big surprise to me. By the way it looks childish, I would never have guessed it was a so brilliant game, with a very innovative plot. There's just one thing that annoyed me a bit about this game, and that is the fact that if you kill an enemy, and return later, that enemy will be alive again. If it were a regular game, this wouldn't be a problem, cuz you would just have to jump on your enemy again, and it would be killed. But in Paper Mario, you have to fight your enemies like you do in Pokémon. Like a real RPG game, with those HP points and stuff. For instance: you have the right to do an action, and then it's your enemy's turn. But as the game goes on, you meet some new fellas (one at a time) who want to join you in your adventure. That makes the game a lot easier (as Mario wouldn't be capable of doing it by himself) and funnier (as your partners have individual and different abilities). If you are a bit disappointed because the characters are 2dimensional, you shouldn't look at this as if it was a bad side. It is very innovative. The games nowadays are very repetitive, and this is a game like I've never seen one before. I would say this game is as creative as Zelda OOT was when it was first released. You should definitely give this one a try! You won't regret, I promise you! :)

Paper Mario is da bomb! You could fly, get far away items, go under water, and turn invisible. If Mario and Paper Mario go into battle Paper Mario would kick his flamed bootox. Oh and did i tell anybody In Paper Mario can you be two charicters in battle. And you could beat bowser to bits with star shower. I don't have this game and I havent beat it but it's the best.

The game was fun and entertaining, but I thought it was too easy......much easier than SuperMario64. I finished it in only a few days. It was a bit of a let-down after all the hype I've been reading about it and the money I spent on it. I would recommend Conker's Bad Fur Day if you want a good game (it is crude, though, so parents beware).
