If you want details/spoilers about the story you can move on to the next review!!! Any advanced info on the tale that this game weaves would be a crime!!
The main thing I, an avid RPG player, noticed was the gameplay. The battle scheme of this action rpg is definitely innovative. It combines roleplaying game elements with traditional run-and-hack action games.
The graphics are quite adequate, although there are some FMVs that don't seem to be rendered very well.
And it's set in the Star Wars' universe.. so go pick it up!!!
Not a horrible game

This game was one of the best rpgs I had
ever played, until my character reached
level 20 and I couldn't get any stronger
what a stupid idea, to limit the strength
of the characters, rpgs are very much about
getting your character as strong as possible,
and it's limited. And one more thing, how
come when I got my character as evil as
possible I still felt like a good guy?
so awesome

This is one of the best Star Wars games there is because of custumisable caracters, Two different paths you can take(Light/Dark).You can choose to have three people at a time, but nine all together(that are playable).overall the game is great... I give it an eleven out of ten :)

This game simply had the best twist in the plot that I have seen since the Metal Gear/Solid Snake games (for those who understood the developments). I preordered this game long before the buzz reached mainstream, and it was well worth the money. Those who don't have this game for whatever reason should get it without delay. Yeah, it's that good.
One of my favorite RPGs ever.....meatbags!

This game is amazing, plain and simple. Why are yo reading this review when you could go out and buy the game right now? Ah so you want to know the reasoning behind the perfect 10 rating before you buy. Well first things first. People say the graphics are lackluster. I personally think they are fine for RPG graphics and are good enough to help make the game feel immersive. The sound is spot on, the effects match what's going on and the music is fitting for a Star Wars game. I am absolutely in love with the combat system, its my favorite non turn based system ever. It makes you feel like every second of the battle matters, which in some cases it does. The customization is fantastic, you can customize your character's looks, stats, force powers, and more. You can even customize your weapons and armor with a system later stolen by Blizzard for World of Warcraft, you may recognize it as the gem sockets in The Burning Crusade. Your character progresses along the dark or light storyline depending on the decisions you make, this contributes to replayability and just overall more fun. The missions are varied and atmospheric , not to mention they make you feel like you're actually accomplishing something. There are some great plot twists along the way as well, and the characters you have in your party are fantastic. My favorite is the robot bounty hunter who calls organic beings meat bags, not to mention he's just a bad a$$ in general. Go out and get this game, you will not be sorry in the least, well unless you don't have an Xbox, but then why are you reading this?
Best game ever

This game is so much fun. The graphics are pretty good for an XBox game. The first time I played this the map was pretty confusing. One of the reasons that people don't like this game is because they have a hard time getting around using the map, but it doesn't take long to memorize the areas. This game has a great story line. Most good games have a good story line and this one has the best. some people dont like the way you fight but I think that locking onto a enemy and choosing your attacks is a good idea because ther are so many fighting moves. The force powers are really cool and you can upgrade them. you can go to the dark side or light side if you decide to go to the dark side your face becomes messed up and pale. It dosnt matter if you like Star wars or not youll love this game.
one of the greatest of all time

If anyone out there that is reading this review is either a.) a Star Wars fan or b.) a rpg fan, and haven't played this game then pick it up immediately. It is by far the greatest rpg on the xbox console and one of the greatest for any console ever...not to mention it is the best starwars videogame of all time. That being said the game does show its age now that it has been a while. The graphics were never that great but the story is still superb. The Gameplay is also wonderful as it is based on the WoC pen and paper rpg. The levelling and the different paths are done wonderful. If you take the lightside then things are drastically different from the darkside especially at the endgame where certain characters are purged from your party...anyway pick it up and don't be disappointed. This one is far superior to its sequel (which is a great game in it's own right).
A great addition to the Star Wars titles

I heard this game was good, but found it to be pretty freaking awesome. If you like Fable, you'll like this. The game incorporates the whole choice based alignment of the character but in a more RPG format. I've been playing this on my XBOX 360, and although the emulation is far from perfect, the graphics are still fairly decent and the game plays pretty well. Some sound bugs and FPS bugs will result when playing on the 360; however, but the game is still more than worthwhile to play.
In my opinion, the choice based system of this game is what makes the game. The ability to choose everything from, what your character looks like, to whether you will sneak past enemies or fight them is what makes this game rock.
The story line is well put together too. The player has a lot of control over how the story goes, which affects the characters alignment throughout the game (good or evil).
If I had to sum this game up with one simple description, I'd have to say it is like Fable crossed with Septerra Core crossed with Star Wars. All 3 already rock, put them into one game and you have this masterpiece...bugs and loading time aside.
