I really enjoyed using the Wii Fit for my morning workout. I was a little skeptical that I would actually get a workout good enough to make me sweat but I was wrong. I got my heart rate up and was drenched by the time I was done. If anyone out there needs some motivation to start exercising buy Wii Fit. The exercise "games" make it fun to start moving again.
Great way to get in shape for busy people

I know there are all those people out there who say go out for a run. However many of us do not have the time. I work 40 hours a week plus have 2-2 year olds. I start my day at 6:00AM and usaually finish around 8:00pm. Wii Fit is a great way to get you motivated and start working out. It is great for the out of shape to those who just want to tone up. I like how you can track your progress and also unlock new items so you still have a challenge like a video game, something to look forward too. I definetly recommend this product for everyone.
Way too much fun!!

My family is LOVING this. Not only are we spending more time together laughing and playing, we are exercising and sweating!! So I can't quite whip the yoga instructor like my hard as rock abs 9 year old can but it is pretty funny watching me try! wii makes tv watching a thing of the past. They only reason we turn it on now is to have fun together while exercising.
Fun in a box!!

I really enjoyed this yesterday! Played afternoon and later that evening. The balance games annoy me a little bit... probably because I'm not very good at them. But the other exercises are fantastic! I have to say this will keep me on track and motivated!
Another Couch Potato off the sofa!

Oh my! Who knew 'fitness' could be so much fun?!! If you are a 'fitness buff', then this 'game' is probably not for you. But if you and your family are looking for motivation to get up and move, then Wii Fit might be just what the doctor ordered! Through many fun activities (which others have described in detail) you will improve many different areas of fitness. Wii Fit explains what area you are working on as well as why it is important. I am so glad I bought this for my family!
Great for the entire family!

I got this yesterday and we opened it around 5:30 pm. My 5 and 7 year old sons and I were playing it until 9:30 pm. It was a great workout and so much fun that you didn't realize you were excercizing.
My husband and I love the wii fit!!!

I pre-ordered it in March. Thank God I did that! I received the wii on Tuesday right after memorial day. My husband tried it out first. It took about 5 min to set up. He loved it!! It first gives you a brief test, tells you how much you weigh, if you are fit or not, and then let you set up your personal weight loss plan. There are 4 different types of training including Yoga to tone your muscles, strength training to strong your muscles, aerobic training to burn fat and balance training. Personally, I love the aerobic training. The jogging one made me sweat. My husband likes the yoga one which makes him have better posture. As one of the reviewers said, it's very easy to cheat. But unless you hire a personal trainer, you can always cheat when you work out. The thing about wii fit is that if you make up your mind to lose weight, it guarantees that you'll have a lot of fun while doing that!
Great Fun!

WE are really enjoying this game. You can get a pretty good workout with it too. The balance games are fun. I love the yoga...I can finally get something out of this popular type of excercise. I'm very glad I preordered this with Amazon. I got it cheaper than anyone I know and I actually have while many are still looking for it.

There are some things I would have liked them to do differently
1.when it suggests other exercises to go along with one you just did let me point and click right to get to it instead of scrolling through the menus to find it.
2. Keep track of how many completed work outs I've done.
3. More advanced work out combos
4. A system to keep track of my progress in individual items like wii sports, not just how good I did the very last time.
But overall I like it a lot
1. I like the yoga's way of helping you realize when you are shifting your weight
2. I like the fun of the balance games.
3. I like the free step and run where I go watch tv and the remote gives me meter.
4. I like that even my 2 year old enjoys table tilt thought he prefers wii sports. (not because I want him to play video games all day because I don't.) My 12 year old and 2 year have a game they both like.
several benefits

I bought this having high expectations for it, and it succeeded them. I am a fit person already, but I was surprised that my balance was terrible. So there are a few reasons why I love this thing. You only get as much as you put into this though. I'm a perfectionist so I try to get things perfect, maybe another reason why I love this.
One, is balance. I use the Wii Fit to help my posture and balance, and I always feel better after using it. I have been pretty hard on my body and especially my back. After doing yoga and exercises on this my back always feels better. I was never into yoga, but now I find it quite enjoyable.
Two exercise. The exercises seem really simple. Anybody can do them and you probably did them in gym class or some other activity. Yet again, nobody was keeping track of your balance while doing that. You end up using muscles you don't normally use trying to keep your balance.
Three is that it's fun. Me and my sister love it. She's actually thinking of buying a Wii and Wii Fit of her own when I go off to college. The balance games are a blast. My friends, my sister, and I have played it till we mastered the balance games and best each others score.
If you are keeping tabs on your fitness you can do a body test anytime you want that will keep track of your weight and BMI, so you can see your progress easily.
The Wii Fit isn't the end to all answers, but it does help your workout if you are getting bored with your routine. It also adds a little competition too. However, I would still recommend the gym and running outdoors when you have the time.
