One of my favorite reasons for still owning a Dreamcast is this game. I love this game because it is so much fun. I love racing games. Even though this isn't a typical racing game you do have to race to get your taxi customers to their destinations in a certain amount of time. I love the scenery and I like that it is suppose to resemble San Francisco because that is an awesome city with all of the hills. It's also cool how you get to pick up some people under water. Even though I don't usually listen to the kind of music that is featured in this game, I like it in the game because it fits well with the fast paced craziness of the game.
A very good arcade driving game.

This really is an arcade driving game. You can forget realistic physics, licensed cars, and customizable vehicles. Crazy Taxi has none of that. What it does have is an enjoyable blend of frantic "forget the rules of the road" driving and timed passenger deliveries. There are four modes of regular play and two maps to drive on. There is also a little extra part where you have to perform certain tasks to continue.
The graphics are not too bad, but there are many situations where the graphics get slowed down considerably. When these slow downs do occur it's never for very long, and they don't happen very often.
I'm not a big fan of the music, but I suppose it's not too bad. It does go along with the atmosphere of the game.
Overall this game is well worth the little amount of money you'll likely pay for it. Even if you're not a fan of racing games, this is a real good game for spontaneous play when you don't want to get involved in some epic adventure. This is a game that every Dreamcast owner should have in their collection.

Now this is an essential game for Sega Dreamcast owners. This game is so fun and addictive it's almost ridiculous. With the faithful port from the arcade plus additional modes (Crazy Box, Original) this game is not to be missed. Regarding the graphics, they are awesome with the city buildings, cars and other various objects in the game looking nicely detailed and sharp looking. The gameplay is, of course, very fun and entertaining, picking up customers and driving to their destinations by any means possible (You can smash around garbage cans, tables, mailboxes, chairs, knock over other cars, catch serious air off inclines and you can even drive under water) The dialogue is hilarious between the passenger and driver (I prefer Axel) Also seeing how much moola you get from your customers will bring you back for more and more. The only complaint I have with Crazy Taxi is the occasional slow-down in the game (Note the 4 star rating) But overall this Dreamcast title is a must-have offering good replayibility and just pure brain-less fun.
Awesome gameplay, great graphics, and a good story

This game is pretty cool the first time you get it. It seems like a huge landscape with a lot of different people to pick up and drive around untill you beat it. It has great music and great graphics, but there isn't much to do in it. There are two levels to choose from and four taxi cab drivers to chooose from. There are a few special levels to do that are pretty hard. You probably wouldn't play this game very long. I beat it the first day I got it, played it a few days to do everything in it and haven't played it since. It gets four stars because it's fun when you first get it and the areas are big untill you explore them a little.

Crazy Taxi is one of, if not the best game out there. After it is all said and done, Crazy Taxi is a driving game. Take customers around to their destinations and get there as fast as you can. Pullin off cool tricks on the way give the customers a reason to tip you. More moves, more Mula. I highly recommend this game to any hardcore gamer. Happy Driving

Man is this game fun! My wife even likes to play it. The graphics are incredible as is the framerate. I wish there was another course, but the two you get are HUGE. I'm not really into driving sims so this game was just what I was looking for. Also, the music is very cool. I'm not a big Offspring fan (I love Bad Religion), but it works here. The music makes you wanna drive like a maniac.
Arcade Perfect!

Here is your chance to drive wrecklessly and to cause chaos and mayhem. Great Characters, great music (Offspring & Bad Religion), great gameplay, great graphics! Arcade mode and Original mode are two diffrent maps and they are both very diffrent from each other. Crazy Box mode is bunch of mini-games specially designed to perfect your skills. Getting the #1 ranking in arcade rules is quite a challenge (trust me, it took me alot of Crazy Driving to get there). The Dreamcast is the first true arcade pefect console with arcade pefect games!

One of the most well-done games I have seen since at least Zelda 64. Images are silky smooth, soundtrack is awesome, gameplay kicks, etc. Just like the arcade but "tweaked" worth the $50- trust me on this one, a sure-bet!
