I loved this game in the arcade. And I just recently purchased it for the DC. Nice graphics, although not the best.. I think it only has 3-5 songs from Offspring, not bad songs, but they get boring/annoying quickly. Addictive, very addictive. Even though it is the same thing over and over, theres just something inside of that game that keeps me coming back for more. Definetly a game you need to have for the Dreamcast.

Crazy Taxi is an exciting game that is fun for players of all ages/skill levels. With great graphics and music, this is a challenging game that includes many mini games as well (they are very tough though). Definitely recommended.

I love this game, I bought it and never stopped playing it. Not only are the graphics so neat, the game is non-stop fun. It was so good that I let my 5-year old cousin play this. He was hooked to it also. The following is a fair summary of the game:

The object of this game is to pick up passengers to take them to the place they want to go. There is an arrow on top of the screen which shows which direction the passenger wants to go. You have a certain time limit to bring the passenger to the requested place. You can play the game for a total of 50 seconds, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes. If you get the passengers to their requested place, you earn the taxi fare money they give you. You must try to get as much money as possible, by getting as many passengers as you can to their requested place.

The game has good sound too. Try playing it at the arcade to decide if you want to buy it. The settings look real, and this game is good entertainment.

Take my advice. Buy this regardless of what you think about it, you won't be disappointed.

I love this game. It has smooth and fast gameplay. Anyone can play it and like it. Even my mom and my girlfriend will play. If you liked the arcade version this is a must buy because it looks exactly the same.

first off this game is amazing. the graphics are not great but are OK.the only reason i gave this game four stars was that it would have been better if there was a MAIN GAME with missions. but other than that the game is sick.

Game was great for an hour. With the top limit of a 10 minute game no matter how well your doing. Lets face it racing around crashing into anything and everything gets a bit boring fast...I think Crazy Taxi needs to be put in the garage and taken out when you need to entertain a group of 11 year olds. What is really bad is the graphics are wonderful but the objective of the game is simplistic and overall unsatisfying. Dream Cast has a great potentential, do yourself a favor and pass on this one, unless your under 13.

This is a great game...for the arcade. I feel bad saying this because when i first bought it I loved it. And i still think it is great but believe me, unless you are constantly lusting for destruction in a "giant baby who doesn't understand his own power" kind of way, then this game can, and will get boring. There, I've said it. No more therapy. It is definitely fun. You drive, people run, cars flip, boxes fly, pedestrians scream what could be better. But after that fifteenth time someone tells you "Take me to the KFC", you begin to cringe. Back and forth, back and forth. Same scenery. In the longrun, it is a great game but im torn between highly recommending it and casting it into the video game museum as a remarkable feat to be appreciated but never played again. Go ahead and buy it...no wait...yeah get it...no but...oohh forget it...

This game is the best for a short time. You should rent this game first for a day. Because there is only 2 tracks and it gets realy old fast take it from me. When I got it I played it a lot but now I am selling it I only had it for 2 weeks and now I don't care if it is gone. Trust me it is a fun game. In the arcades or to rent it your just wasting your money if you buy it.

A Really Solid Arcade Game

If you are a solid arcade loving fan, this game is perfect and even better. But if you are a sim racing fan who loves careers and the options to soup up your car, this game is a downer. But for people who just don't care, this is a must own dreamcast game. The graphics are awesome, the cities are bigger than you could ever imagine and there is so much variety of character in this game. The only downsides i can think of are people are able to walk through your vehicle and there is no career mode. And yet those don't really matter. This is an awesome game with great replay value and a must own if you own sega dreamcast.
