Crazy Taxi is one of the best games out, with the excellent graphics, fast paced action, super physics. The only thing that could make this game better is if your car sustained damage and needed repairs and if you could buy upgrades to your taxi.

If you love fast paced arcade type games, than this game is a must have. Stunning visual effects, awesome soundtrack, and hours and hours of fun! There are several bonus areas built in that gives the game replay value.

This game is fun. I personally bought it because of all the rave reviews I saw on the net about how great this game is. Well, I DID buy it and DID play it and I LIKED it. The only problem is that it doesn't change much and I just find the game very repetitive after a good 10 minutes (I guess thats why there is a 3 minute game option). I guess this game doesn't fall into any certain genre. I can't call it a racing game and it's not very strategic. My suggestions, rent it for a few days. If you can't live without it after those few days, buy it.

You are probably thinking "racing game! Avoid!", but it's not. You might be thinking "driving people around? what a stupid game!", but it's cool. You drive people to different locations in 2 cities, and you can unlock an awesome tricycle, and you can drive to different locations of the city ( I once got all the way to a cable car station, train station, and the SF bridge), and it's fun to drive people around. Get if you are Addicted to Mario/Sonic/Crash Bandicoot.

If you want action, you've come to the right game. The controls are easy to handle, but don't expect to get so much money the first few times you play. I've had this game for almost 9 months and I'm still on class C license! (E the lowest, A the highest) I can recommend two of the drivers out of four: Axel (who is DA BOMB!!) and B.D. Joe (he's good for mediocre people) Axel is a little wacky, but I love him. He's the fastest driver you can get. Gena's a little slow, but good for beginners. Gus is just plain awful. I must admit though, there is a limited choice of drivers. About the game, it's graphics are great, not the best, but great. There are real places such as KFC and Pizza Hut. I also like playing the mini-games which are very challenging. My fave is the balloon popping one. They give you 30 seconds to pop 20 gigantic balloons with your driver. Once you beat three mini-games, (you can try to beat your old record though) you get a bowling game in which they give you a minute to knock down 60 pins. It's very hard, and I haven't even come close yet! Overall, this game is amazingly set out, and I recommend it for all ages.

This game rocks. Crazy Taxi is one of the best, most refreshing games I've played for quite sometime. This is a good old fashioned "controller passing" game, where you're just trying to top the score your buddy just got. The graphics are awesome, it's fast as hell, and it controls like a dream. Get this game, it's a steal at the All Star price point.

Crazy taxi is an all around great game. It has awesome graphics and meets all of dreamcasts expectations.It has incredible detail and gives you tons of freedom. You can even drive under water. What makes it more fun is sega got the permission to put real logos of places in so you can deliver people to places such as KFC and Pizza Hut. I would give this game a 20 on a scale of one to ten. This game is definatly worth your time and money. I highly recomend it.

I must say that when I first saw and played this game that I was more than impressed with the graphics, sounds, and everything else about it....After buying it I would found myself playing for hours on end!! This game is soooo addictive for me. If you love driving games then this is probably the game for you. I love this game and must say that it well deserves the Sega All Stars title.

A Crazy look at the day of a taxi driver

This game was the first I bought for my recently bought Sega Dreamcast, and I must say, that I was quite impressed upon checking it out for the first time. The game itself, has an incredible atmosphere of a living town in which people need to get to REAL places(making it easier to recognize where they are needing to go), and yet some original areas of the worlds in the game. Some pros include, well, it is just and incredible game. It doesn't take long to learn the curve, and it has amazing control. The downside, which is small, is that there is some graphic slowdown here and there. Fortunately, it doesn't occur too often, and shouldn't bother you much. This is a must buy for ant Dreamcast owner.

I've read alot of reviews about people saying this game was "too easy" or that it "got boring after a while". Well these people may be right in certain aspects of the game, but not alot of them. I mean, any game will get boring if you play it 100 times! Lets start with how "boring" the game is. To have the most fun in this game, you have to be good at it, you have to know how-to do all of the specific combos, and what to do to make the most money possible. There may only be 2 courses in the game, but look at how HUGE THEY ARE! The cities, exits, and highways are modeled almost exactly like the real thing! The AI (Artificial Intelligence) of the other drivers is really realistic, they will stop, slow down, go around you, and alot more depending on what YOU do. There is also that cartoony touch, where you can drive in the ocean, smash through traffic, and jump over different types of ramps. Another great option is the 'Crazy Box', which is a collection of 15 (6 Hidden) mini-games that can improve your 'Crazy' skills. The only bad parts of the game is the occasional lag (Choppiness) and the use of the same sounds over and over again. If your up for some definetly crazy driving action with excellent graphics and super fun gameplay for a very cheap price, then snag this game. But if your the type that likes games with depth, storylines, or background then this might not be the best game for you.
