BEST GAME ON PS2

This is the best game on the PS2 next to God of War 2. I don't have to tell you nothing. Just play this game and you will find out all you want. I will tell yuo ont thing. This game is. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is alright, but I actually got bored of it after a few hours. This game has been hyped so much and I don't think it lives up to the hype. It's worth renting, but you'll be done with it in like two days and you'll be really glad you didn't drop $50.00 on it. I'm really tired of all the hype being generated by gaming magazines/reviewers. I see a bunch of "9.5 out of 10" etc, but it seems to me that the more a game is hyped, pushed and marketed the higher the scores from reviewers are. Hmmmm, more money spent on advertising = higher review scores. Coincidence? Bottom line: don't spend $50 on any game until you've at least rented it and played through it once. Most of the games coming out today are not worth $50; in fact, I wouldn't even buy most of them after they've been out six months and the price drops to $20. RENT BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!!

Don't be fooled by the fools who don't know a good game. GOW is excellent in every way. With only one or two problems here or there:
Smashing circle over and over again isn't fun. Especially not during the last few levels of the game where you have to press circle with godly speed. No human can tap that fast.

The Pandora's Box thing lasted way too long.

The game ends abruptly after achieving Pandoras Box.

The last boss is not well done.

You won't care much about these problems though. Not to worry.

Pretty cool!

I just played through the demo of this game yesterday and it was a blast to play. One thing is for sure, it's a button-masher! lol A hack-n-slash with great graphics. The camera took a minute to get used to though, but's it's not bad. I just started really getting into the demo and got all the way to the main head of the hydra and bam! Demo over. That stank! lol It was gettin' good! =) So now this game is on my "to get list". I am not really into games of this type being a racer and shooter mostly, but a game about Greek mythology is just really cool.

it began ok but quickly devolved into a cra@ game. thankfully i rented on a gamepass and can trade this one in for something else because i can't believe how highly this game is rated, and how cra@@y this game really is. once you die falling off of stuff or swimming then the thing squishes you into the wall 5000000000 times you will understand what i am saying. this game blows.

This game was a non-stop adventure. I couldn't stop playing the game and no one scene was the same. I hope the game makers can make another game like this one in the near future. Get it and play it!!

This game is simply awesome. I received it for a gift last Christmas and I still love it. The graphics & action are amazing, it's not available on XBOX. If you don't already own this game you simply cannot go wrong w/ this masterpiece. You'll love it. The main character, Kratos, reminds me of Quan chi in Mortal Kombat. Looking forward to God of War 2 !

God of War is a good game. The thing is, its not an excellent game. You'll have your moments where you laugh and have fun, but at no point did I just have a "wow" reaction. That's really what the game is- solid all the way through, but doesn't have any really great moments.

Graphics are good in terms of scale and size of everything, but animations and character models look off. Music is memorable, at times.

Overall, this game is very, very overrated. It is in no way a bad game, but just isn't as good as reviews say it is. I beat it, started to replay it, then stopped, realizing it just isnt very fun the second time through. After gathering dust on the shelf for about two months, I decided to sell it. It just isn't very captivating.

Got the game, and took me a month just to get past the first boss. WHY? because It took that look to learn the sequence very little in the way of in game help. Then the rest of the game was a brease until I got to the last of posiden's challenges. Then it became insane, you couldn't pass it even though the sequence is child like. Your reflex's have to be so fast the game no longer becomes fun
