this game is great, but wait for the 2nd one

Budakai in my opinion is very realistic and closely follows the storyline from the Raditz saga to the cell games! It is 2 player and has a fun fighting mode. Characters can be edited from capsules you can buy after winning money at the martial arts turnaments. The only things that make this game worse are the characters.The supersayan transformation is 2 fast and is nothing like the show. The 2nd budakai will have more characters like videl, three forms of buu and Dobura. There will also be fusion characters with ssj3.

ok. this is the coolest game ever, you star out in the saiyan saga and then boost yourself up to the call games saga along the way you collect skills so you can bust out with mega energy blasts and all sorts powerful stuff. it took me a little whle to get down the moves but hey all you have do is go to practice where it shows what buttons your pushing once you get the moves down you will love it, you can also collect the dragon balls and if you get all 7 theres a secret but im not giving it away. o yeah the FIGHTING, the fighting is crisp and clean don't get fooled by the bad graphics in adds it looks as good as the show! and if you hit a guy in mountian it'll blow up! and you can turn super saiyan different cloths power up and a hole lot more, and i mean a whole lot more! and take it from me video games are awesome and know my video games even if you dont like the show this game kicks! so i hope i was helpfull to so later and get powered up!

This is kinda cool,the cut sceens,the intro,the voices,awsome,but don't,repeat,don't ever,EVER,play tournament mode,it's awful,that's why this game get's three stars,sorry DBZ.

my freind got the game and at mr popo's shop he foun freaza's spaceship it's really king cold's but when you use it and die freaza comes back as a ciborg and as stroner than before so practicly you get an eaxra life and get stronger than 100%finle form

Great DBZ Game

I bought this game for Christmas and I thought that it was a great fighting game with most of the characters that we know from DBZ and I also like the fact that the game follows the sagas from DBZ.

The only minor complaint about this game is that not all the characters from DBZ are in this game(i.e. Goten, Gotenks, Buu, etc.)

This is a great fighting game and I would definitely play it again.

Great game, but needs more than one player in tournament!

Dragon Ball Z is a great game. There's no dout about it. The graphics are smooth and the gameplay is very good! There were only two reasons that kept me from giving this game a full 5 stars. The first reason is that the game doesn't go all the way up to the Buu saga. The second reason why I didn't give this game a full five stars was because I think that the makers of this game could have put two or more players in the world tournament mode. Even though they have a duel for two players, It would have been very good if they could have done it for both the duel and the world tournament mode. Besides these two reasons, the game is great! The moves are hard to pull off, but when you get them down packed, they become very helpfull. The characters in this game are just like the ones in the show! The only bad thing about the characters is that they don't have them all the way up to the buu saga. They only have it up to the Cell Saga. The only character they have from the Buu Saga is Great Sayaman. You have to unlock him. Overall this game is a really good game! It's the kind of game you want to be going back to in the near future!

Finally a dbz game comes out in 3d. Its a great game including many characters. There are 5 modes not including the secret "hurcule" mode. Over all if your a dbz fan get this game.

This game is way awesome!! I played it all day when I got it!!I has awesome graphics and the characters can say and do some funny things! The characters even have alter costumes...something you rarely see them wear! It is a totally awesome game to play! Go head-to-head with your friends! Customize your fave. character! Practice, duel...compete in the World Martial Arts competition like you always wanted to do!!Play forever!

Budokai is great.Sure it doesn't really compare to classics like tekken or virtual fighter 4,but for us hard core fans whom have made dragonball z a religion,(Well,I have,all hail Goku!).It faithfully represents the DBZ world.The scenes,down to the last blade of grass,are perfect.The Ginyu Force's comical poses are perfect.The only hindrence is the lack of majin buu,and with that,the characters in his saga,is annoying.However,they might be saving that for Budokai 2,if there is one,and pray there is one.When playing this game,you don't feel like you're in the show.You are in the show.You are on planet Namek,avenging the death of Krillan,you are in the Cell games arena,turning super saiyin 2.Get this game,turn it on,skip the opening credits,and turn super saiyin!

This game is okay. The graphic are good not the best i have seen but the only thing that i really don;t like about this game is the world games i really can't stand it when you are winning and you get hint out of the ring. The second thing that gets on my nervse is the music...i tured it off but if you are a DBZ Fan then you shoukd get this game.
