WHADAYA WANT??THERE'S THE NEW WENDY'S HOMESTYLE CHICKEN STRIPS, THE BIG BACON CLASSIC,A FROSTY.... damn, I'm making myself hungry. Oh, well. It's after 5 PM anyway. It would be cool if this game had more blood, but it's violent enough to be rated "T". I usually just play the "Story" mode because it's cool, well, some very little isn't fighting, so that's why I only rated it 4 stars overall. It's SO much fun. {That's the one I'll say when I review Mortal Kombat Deception. I AM BLOOOODTHIRSTY!!!!! This game has cursed me almost as much as MK: Deadly Alliance did. I fell in love with THAT game as soon as I saw some blood and guess what???!! I DELIVERED THE BLOW!! WHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Okay. I.....sense I've gone too far. However, the story mode is reminding me of the tv series which ended the same as this game does and it's easy, but iiiiittttt'ssss......FUN TO PLAY ON A RAINY DAY! HA! My personal favorite guys to be are Frieza and Cell. {I KNOW. ELSE'S FAVORITE IS TEEN GOHAN. Who gives a flying freak}? The rest of the blood is on the fighters after they've been injured so bad they can probably barely lift a pebble. The end of the game is a little different than that. The only character I don't have is Hercule. What a doink. He can't do crap on the show and I've played him before on another memory card. HE HAD TO WEAR A FRIGGIN' ROCKET PACK! Everyone else on this game can fly! What kind of dingdong has to wear a rocket pack when he swears he can beat Cell with only a poke? He acts like it and everyone loves him for it. I loathe people like that. AAANNNYYHOO, it doesn't matter. If you like Dragonball Z and want to start off the game series, play this first....oh man, what am I blabbin' about? This is the only PS2 game I have for the Dragonball Z series. I also have LEGACY OF GOKU, but it's just not as fun.

This game is pretty fun if your a fan of the Dragon Ball series.The voice overs are amzing,but the game has some major draw backs the ps2 version is way to edited compared to the Jap. version,and don't even get me started on how censored tghe Gamecube version is. If you can understand Japanese get the jap version you'll thank yourself for getting the Jap. with all the gore.

I expected more out of Dragon Ball Z overall the show is the best but when it came to the game they really dissapointed me. It is a waste of your time and money and there is nothing good at all about the game, from the characters through the story its all [...] Who would actually play this game. If you do play this game you are a loooser and have no taste in quality games. So do yourself a favor and stick to the show-saturday nights at 10-GT is the [...]

Budokai 3 Mops It Up

The third installment of the Dragonball Z: Budokai francise, this game is far and away the best of the series so far. The graphics have been improved greatly, and a host of new characters have been added. But the best new feature in the latest installment, is the revamped Dragon Universe mode. Anyone who has played DBZ:B2 is reminded of the linear maps and cheesy icons to represent your players on the board. No longer! You can actually fly around Earth and explore, find new skills, and even meet with a variety of characters known throughout the DBZ universe.

New additions to the combat system have also been added. Most notible is "Hyper Mode", the trigger system used to unleash your warriors most powerful moves and devastating attacks on your enemies. Also, you can now dodge and "teleport counter" attacks that your opponents try to hit you with, as well as launch rapid-fire "ki" shots, rather than just one at a time.

One of my favorites, are the cut-scenes of the characters ultimate moves, illustrating the devastation they cause. Most ultimate moves also destroy the surrounding terrain, completely altering the combat map you were once fighting on. You can also knock your opponent "off the map", sometimes initiating a cut scene where you can smash your opponents through rocks, off of mountains, and even into a dinosaur on a certain stage.

All of the new graphics were beautifully done, and I give much credit to the game developers for taking this game and making such huge leaps and bounds with the visual display.

The only real flaw in this game that I have found is the CPU tends to abuse the new mechanics in the game at the higher difficulty levels, making the game more frustrating than fun at times, and sometimes downright impossible to defeat. Being "teleport countered" 4 straight times does little more than make me angry, but the added stratum of difficulty can be a welcome addition to more hardcore gamers.

On the whole, I found this game to be very enjoyable. It's a must have for fans of DBZ, and even for those gamers who just enjoy fighting games. With the added elements to the combat system, this game stands apart from others in the genre. It comes highly recomended from me, as it's the most entertaining fighting game I've played in a long time.

anyway,this game is hard at the beginning in story mode,but i bought this game 'cause it's dbz and it's cool,some people may say that this game stinks,well it doesn't it's very fun,you get to play as goku,gohan,piccolo and other characters,wow and the graphics of the game are awesome ,i'm sure getting budokai2,and 3,it's worth the money for me.thank you akira toriyama for creating such a good anime series!bye

this game is a hit. i hate watching DBZ but i like this game. the characters sometimes have the same moves but who cares?

the greatest thing about this game is they keep the voice actors from the show

This game is much fun. You can do alot of things in this game then the previous games.There are different modes in this game. I like the story mode, reason being is becuse, the villans don't make mistakes that is totally not them. Like do a kemehameha wave and you are on the opposite side of it. Other than that it is Superb.The grphics a whole lot better, controls are aquward but good.Sound, voices all good.The thing that interest me is the transformation. Instead of beating the whole game to unlock SS's,you can transform in to it. That really got my attention!

THis game is real tight . It has cut animation scenes.THe controlls are real good.you You get to wish on shenron.This game is for real DragonballZ fans. This also features original voices from the show. I know you Might want to know if it is origiinal to the series. Don't worry it follows the storyline and features new stories completely true to the game. The story follows from raditz to cell. The are mini games.If you're a real Dragonballz fan this is a game for you
