Almost One Of The Best Games

This Game Is Off the Heshee fosheshee. The thing that is always tight about this game is that it has good graphic,kinda fast speed, and better than most games.

You can fight in the storyline (Saiya-Jin saga to Cell Saga),in duels and in the World Tournament as 23 different characters.You can even gather the 7 dragon balls and summon Shenron but... The graphics [aren't great] for PS2, you're stuck to the ground all the time and the fighting system's too simple. I recommend this game if you're a DBZ fan who likes Tekken-type games if not, rent it.

Maybe it's just because I loath Anime, and I Loath the concept of DBZ. But I thought this game was a total waist of time and my 3 dollars i cost to rent it. It's one of the first games I've taken back with in 2 hours of renting it. Don't buy it until you try it. I was beyond dissapointed.

As a Dragon Ball Z fan I was expecting this to be one of the greatest fighters ever. Boy was I wrong. Although they do a good job of representing the show the game just falls flat. The graphics are bland and the enviorments are uninteresting. As for the gameplay it just can't compare to other fighters like the Tekken and Virtua Fighter series. You have a limited move set restricted to punches and kicks followed by a blast of energy. Because you can just fire off a ka me ha me ha at the end of a combo takes away the coolness of it all. Another problem is the ability to hit opponents while their down which is pretty cheap if you ask me. The game isn't all bad though. There are a host of unlockables all of which have to be bought from Mr. Popo. By the end of the game you'll hate Mr. Popo. The only reason this game will ever do well in sales is because DBZ has a large amount of over zealous fans.

This game may not be as difficult as the others, but it is still a great game to play. As the first in the Dragon Ball Series for the PS2, this game is extreemly entertaining. My friend in I go head-to-head nearly every day on this game in the sweet Duel mode. And with the Skills Edit menue, you cant custum any fighter to be the ultimate Fighter, by winning more and more tournaments in the tournament mode and winning zenii! This is another great game.

im the best dragonball z fan there is and this is the best.

this game is great because its got 23 playable charcters and they are goku.vegeta.kid gohan.teen gohan.great saiyaman.tien.yamcha.krillin.dadoria.zarbon.cell.frieza.hercule.android 16.android 17.android 18.android 19.captain ginyu.reccome.trunks.nappa.raditz and piccolo thats its bye.

this game is very good the graphics looks just like the show. To get the hidden character takes like a hour or two but it is very good. Buying moves and support capsules will take a while to get so you will keep playing it. You get to play with everyone up to the end of Cell saga. Me and my brother play this game everyday sometimes we miss school just to play

I'm a pretty big dbz fan,but this game could be alot better, it would help if you could jump or fly whenever you want, but you can only fly if someone knocks you into the air and you can't jump ever. You can only get to the cell saga. Another thing I don't like is you can beat Super saiyan anyone with Hercule (come on he shouldn't even compare). You have to perform combos before doing all special moves(like before performing a kamehameha you have press P+P+P+P+E) etc... . The good things are they have and actual story mode that follows the actual story of dbz, but remember only up to the cell saga, you can fight in world tournaments to get money, but I don't like the fact that you have to buy skills, you can earn some of them in story mode but you have to buy some of them in the shop, you earn more people by fighting in story mode, they have pretty much every character up to the cell saga, but I think if they had the buu saga this game would be a little better, I like the game because i'm a dbz fan but overall this game is just average.

Dragon Ball Z is the best.

The game i think is a new genaration of fighting, it seems like its the game every dbz fan should buy. Now final bout is a poor excuse for a dbz game, all the people who like that game are probaly mentaly ill. Although dbz budokai could use more charecters, its graphics are very realalistic and i give it 5 stars for being a great game.Now what game do you think is better Dragon ball gt final bout, or Dragon ball z: budokai?

first of all what did they do to this game wasnt it supposed to be the dragonballz game that was supposed to be the far best of all????second dimpo what kind of developer are they?infogrames just gave them the project so they can make a easy buck out of it.the minute i started playing i knew it was going to be boring.When you become super saiyan it takes so much of your energy that its almost imposible to stay super saiyan for a long time.you cant power up energy unless you hit your opponet, arent they supposed to lose energy fighting instead gain energy?the reason i gave it a 3 is its worth renting big time and even after those negatives its the best dragonballz game avalible
