I played every DBZ game there is out there from Final bout ultimate battle legacy of goku and legendary super warriors and this is the DBZ game ever the fighting is great and the characters are all good. you can pick from 23 characters the only problem is hercule is one of them. if your a DBZ fan this game is for you.

Mr.Satan is the best character ever he is the champ. No one can beat him not even that little girl kakarate. This game is the best DBZ game ever!!! Next time Super Saiyan Satan!!!!!!!! Mr.Satan should turn Super Saiyan and Yamcha should turn Super Yamcha. Thats were his hair turns blue, he gets blue eyes, and he's as strong as Super Saiyan 3 kakarate, which is about one fourth the strength of Super Satan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This game is so intense, it is of the hiset.

now you have to think here... what exactly does dragonabllz supposed to consist of? if you are a true dbz fan like myself this game doesn't have any capability to the original show. i mean come first of all none of your special moves are controllable!! you have to do a combo to pull off a kamehameha which doesnt make any sense. how many times have you seen gokuu krillin or gohan pop off a three hit combo before being able to do there move. dont get me wrong it looks cool and all but it just aint right? oh my god and Mr. Popo's shop was the most annoying thing ever created!!! i went in and out of that shop over 300,000 times and i still haven't got the dragonballs enough times to receive the special capsules, but if you are an americanized dbz fan i guess it is good enough for ya'll!!

I like this game I thinks it is the best dbz game made you can battle throw the frieza saga to cell saga as alot of z fighters.

Dragonball z Budokai is not a game for the original fans of the series. By that I mean fans of the series that were into it before it was on cartoon network and before it became "americanized". Let me be blunt about this...if your a dubbie, and got started on it watching the FUNi version, then you'll probably think this game was good enough to spend 50 bucks on...but if your like me and was a fan of the original series before it became popular in the states, you'll probably be kicking yourself in the head after about an hour of play. graphics-3, story-4, gameplay-2, replay-2. This game wouldn't have been nearly as bad with some alterations to the combat engine and a Japanese langauge option. The one saving grace for this game has to be the story mode, its been done pretty well.

its dbz so if you love the show then you'll love this

a lot of people are saying that this is a so so game but thats because there probably not into dragonball z. if you ever watch the show than you'll absolutely love this game. the graphics are a 4-5 and the sound is 4-5 the voice acting is the same in the series. the only bad side to this game is the ability not to jump or duck, but ive heard that in the second dbz game you can deflect energy attacks and regular attacks. if you can get passed that part than this game will be great. it is a little short about 5 hours to beat in story mode but i keep on playing it over and over because it really is the only good dragon ball z game out there. so dont listen to most of the other reviews because they are not fans and only got the game cause it was a fighting game but this game is the only fighting game ive ever played because im not a fan of them but i get really hooked on this game and so will you!!

this is the best game ever. i am a dbz fan. if u r not u could learn more if u got this game. my most favorite charater is teen gohan. he is so cute. over all this game is good. i mean great. but the one thing that is bad is the super sayain levels. u can only turn to a super sayain. only gohan can turn into a super sayian2. no super sayian3. but this is the best game ever! P.S. i am a girl

I am not an expert of fighting games, but even I realize that this isn't the best out there. But the graphics are so well done must DBZ fans will not care. The game follows the DBZ storyline from the point where Radditz shows up to when Cell is defeated and Budokai 2 will pick up from that point. I really enjoy this game for the amazing graphics and the storyline. I do have a lot of fun going again my boyfriend and when you get used to the special attacks you can really do some great stuff. This is a must for all DBZ fans, but for those looking for a gighting game only, you may want to rent this one. Keep the faith, dExtrosien

This game is awesome, i recomend it to anyone who likes show. If you are not a fan i'd say this is still a great game but you would probably be better off buying another fighting game.

Pros: Great combos
Awesome characters
Great graphics
Cons:Shallow gameplay
and not enough combos per player

This is the best dbz fightr to date. If u are a dragonball z fan then this is a must have. Pick between Vegeta, Gohan, Dodoria, And 20 others.
