Pokemon gold is da bomb diggity.

Yo peeps. my name is Jason Mondesir. Tbis game is good and it is diff than the others. about 251 pokemon total. + Night and day. The color is way better than the others. A cool watch and some new codes to. The book bag has 4 saks(1 for pokeballs, one for tms/hms, 1 for important items, and 1 for healing items.) When you look at pokemon stats there are three boards instead of 2. Also your new rival steals pokemon and stuff. The evolutions are new. for instance if you thought Chansey stayed like that your wrong. than there are pre evoltions for pokemon like pikachu, clefairy, and jigglypuff. If you mate pokemon of same type (ex. Raichu / raichu(exactlly same), Raichu/ ratatta(both mice) and raichu/jolteon(both eletric). You can go between worlds. 2 new legendary birds. The appearence of Mew, Mewtwo, and Mewthree. new types steel and evil. Also time machine so you dont have to trade pokemon so you can just get them. The trainers look different and your not ash. 16 gyms in all. 2 new hm's and a few more tm's. And you can shake pokemon out of trees. You get radios. radio upgrade. some downs is that the puzzles are hard (2 or 3 total) You cant catch all the pokemon in this game. You can put any new pokemon from this version to blue, gree, or red versions.The pokemon are harder to catch. some general stuff: you battle harder people and ASH. You verse a whole building of rockets and lance helps you. You can chose to be a boy or a girl. I thionk you get a skateborad(bootleg roller blades are better.) but you need to get this game cause it is THE BOMB DIGGITY. (my age is really thirteen)

I have waited for this game for years. Although Red and Blue were the same in most aspects and Yellow was just a minor upgrade, Gold and Silver are in a whole new level of Pokemon. With the internal clock that tells the real time and date means that you just might have to drop some activites on Tuesday to make it in time for the tornament (Yes, in the game) You may now have to balance out your life between Pokemon and real life bothersome activities (Like eating,sleeping, breathing and buying batteries) The 251 pokemon give me the same feeling of wonder when I was first playing Blue.(Wow! What's this, a sandshrew. Oh cool, a new town) The new types of pokemon include steel and dark pokemon (Yes rejoice all you evil Mewtwo-Gyrados loving fans)To ease the pain of waiting that you have endured, here's some thing's to do while you are waiting: 1. Make the decision between Gold or Silver 2. Choose if you want Totodile, Chorita, or Cynaquil 3. Map out which pokemon you think you should trade to Gold (I wonder if what that trader with the electrode on Cinnabar Island said will make any sense... 4. Choose your 2nd in Command pokemon (not your starting pokemon) 5. Select breeding pairs of pokemon 6. Take big deep breaths

Pokémon Gold - Is it really better?

Since the arrival of Pokémon Blue and Red, Pokémon has come along way, and now Nintendo has decided to add 101 new Pokémon. But, is it really better? Yes. I have played this game before, on the internet, and this is one of the best games Nintendo has made. Each Pokémon has new attacks such as Mudsling which new bird Pokémon can use. Three new Pokémon, HouHou (on the Gold box), Lugia (on the Silver box), and Serebii replace Mew and Mewtwo. You can still find Mew and Mewtwo, but try to focus on the new ones. Professor Oak doesn't give you your first Pokémon, but his brother Professor Utsugi does. There are all new battles, trainers, and badges, 8 new badges to be exact. There are 8 on the Gold/Silver side of the island, and 8 on the Yellow/Blue/Red side of the island. And Gary is now the leader of the gym in Viridian City. You also battle ASH AT THE VERY END OF THE GAME! All around good game, buy while you still can!

The best pokemon game ever

I have played this game before and I loved it! There are 251 pokemon (101 more than the original games) that have all new attacks. You can breed them to get a baby pokemon or cross breed them to get an all new pokemon. There is the new time feature that you set so the cartrage is a clock with the same time that outside. Over all I say that Pokemon lovers should by it NOW.

When the U.S released the pokemon games red and blue,everyone went nuts about pokemon. The game offered children from ages 5 and up to raise animals, and build responsibility. Now,in the year 2000, Nintendo plans to release pokemon gold and silver, well those games are really great, offering new tms and hms,but are they the best? Or is there more? Well I know someone who works at NINTENDO, and he said that they are planning a pokemon bronze.........with a total of 300 tms, 20 hms, and a combination of 350 pokemon! pokemon bronze also introduces a sidekick! you can unlock secret places that are unknown, and youll find a book called AFFORDONIMOUS, it is the personal diary of the very fist pokemon trainer!

" keep training to be a great pokemon trainer, and dont let other people influence you, be who you want to be and do what you want to do".

Pokemon Gold is... Well... Fun!

I wasn't exceptionally impressed with the 2 original Pokemon games, and even more disappointed in Pokemon Yellow. Weren't we all? However, I was swept away by this game. Incredible pics, night and day, breeding, new places, you even get to fight Ash and Gary... this is one cool game! This is certainly a happy chapter in the Pokemon saga! I've already beaten all the gyms, but there is even more to do afterwards, too! What do you have to say about that? Go out and buy this game. ... Ta ta for now!

A Very Cool Game

I got this game 1 month ago. I played it for hours. I could not believe how cool it was. I had a cell phone, and The time of day it was. Later on in the game I discovered that I get a map, and a radio card(to access the radio). there are lots of cool music to listen to. I have a pokegear to sort everything(makes it eisier to find stuff), but in red,blue,yellow you just have Item slot and everythings mixed together. I have my ball pocket, my item pocket, my TM/HM pocket, and my key pocket(to keep all of my stuff like Bicycle,S.S. Aqua ticket(you get this after beating the Elite four at Indigo plateau), and other things you don't want to lose.) Go out and buy this game to experience all of the new stuff and challenges in this updated game!!

Pokemon Gold has got to be the best out of the whole of the Pokemon series. The game contains some of my favourite pokemon and holds my attention for longer. The whole concept of Pokemon Gold has changed slightly especially with the introduction of the real time factor which will have an affect on the time in which you can catch certain pokemon. If you were never really a fan of pokemon then i recommend you buy this game as it will convert you to the biggest craze that is around at the moment. Viva Pokamon!!

Bet you thought you were cool then you had Blue, Red, or Yellow, right? They are NOTHING compared to Gold (or Silver).

The color grahics in Gold are so much better that any of the others; you'll realize this as soon as you play Gold (or Silver) after playing any of the others. There is a whole new world with eight new cities and very cool gym leaders to defeat and badges to earn.

Also, say goodbye to Ash, baby. There is a brand new character for you to play, although you see Ash later in your travels. There's new PokeGear, new Pokemon to catch, and new battle animations. Best part is the new experience meter on battle screens to show how high your Pokemon is on his level - a MUST needed items. The Pokecenters are even bette rthan before as well.

If you are a Pokemon fan, or just like game boy games, add this one to your arsenal!

Much better than the previous Pokemon games

This game blows Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow so far out of thewater it isn't even funny. Once you pop this [game] into your gameboy and start a new game it will ask you for the time and day of the week. Now, you may be wondering why all the fuss. But as you will find out this game runs by actual time and the funny but awesome part of this game is that certain pokemon come out at certain times of the day, and even week (also events happen at certain days of the week). This will make everyone that likes pokemon insomniacs thinking about the next pokemon they need to catch. Only downside to this game is that its still to short (besides the long periods of time it takes to get all the pokemon).......I was really hoping for like an awesome storyline but oh well. Get your hands on this title and play it non-stop!
