This is a great game because it's just like the tv show. You collect pokemon and you're sure to have some. You battle in gyms and make your pokemon stronger and evolve. One problem though...I feel sad for little kids who can't read yet. It's so fantastic for the bigger kids. It's even better then the tv show.

This game is a great game! When I bought this I couldn't let go of the game and I still don't. This is way better than the old ones because it has night and day, new pokemon, and new gyms. The only thing that ... is that I can't get all the pokemon yet I have to trade and I have to look for friends. Well, you guys should buy this kewl game. It is pretty easy though so you wont have a problem if your expirienced.

This game is very good it has whole new worlds with new pokemon to capture train and battle! get all new pokemon gear including map radio cell phone and clock. the day turns to night dozens of never before pokemon discover whole new species. the pokedex will tell you some of the pokemon gender there are new gym leaders to beat and eaght new bages to earn. two new types and steel and dark type pokemon trade with red blue yellow and silver

Gold is a lot better than silver, one reason because you catch Ho-oh before Lugia and i like Ho-oh more. This game introduces two new types, dark and steel. If you are going going to buy this and you don't already have it, buy Pokemon crystal, which is almost the same as G/S, but you can catch celebi, and you start out with Suicune! This game has an eternal clock too, so you can play it like it is real life! Out of all the 100 new pokemon, WOBBUFFET would be my favorite! You should buy crystal, as I said, instead of this though because crystal is the same setting but different graphics and characters!

It's my favorite Pokemon game. It's fun to catch Pokemon. It's easy for me to play and my ll year old brother likes it too.

The world of Pokemon took the world by strom when it was released. Pokemon are animals with special powers. Some people keep Pokemon as pets, but most people train thier pokemon for battle! In a Pokemon battle, nobody dies, they just "faint" or knocked-out but not dead. You can carry up to six pokemon in pokeballs.

Pokemon Gold takes place in the Johto region, which is different from the Kanto (the old world in Pokemon Blue, Red and Yellow) region. In this game, you can breed your own pokemon! Pokemon finally have Male and Female--the male pokemon are a little stronger than females. A addictive game!

I played Pokemon Gold 5 hours straight in the car while traveling.(I was apparently the passenger) And I could have played it for a day straight, if I was allowed of course. It is easier than Red,Blue or Yellow, and it is challenging to defeat everyone. Catching pokemon is easier, and more fun, since you have more choice. All the different kinds of pokeballs are fun, and its hard to catch all of the legendary pokemon. The fact that it can tell b/w night and day is handy, and having a mother that can keep part of your money is VERY handy. The only thing dissapointing about it is that you always have to be a guy! It bugs me alot! Overall, however, I would advise buying this as a gift/or for yourself!

This version pokemon gold is great! The look of the pokemon on
the battles and screens look good, going! I mostly start off
with a pokemon (On Gold version) named Todidile.(Mostly I like water type pokemon) Gold version has certin pokemon on it that are strong. I have passed the whole version a bunch of times. Now I start all over when I have passed the whole version. I like pokemon alot. Gold version seems great to play on gameboy, and gameboy advance. You should get Gold version, its pretty great!

this is a good game i bought it in a shop and now a 2 weeks later i am almost done. dont get the idea that it is eas its not i just have played ith before it has many nice features like. certin events happen at a certin time. new pokemon, new gyms. NEW WORLD!

I bought this for my nephew and I ended up hogging his Game Boy. He had to take it away from me. Now that's what I call a good game. Fun for all ages.
