man this game is the best!!!!!!! have you ever seen an ea game that isn't the best.now they do it again this is a game id pay 100 bucks for!the graphics are awsome.this is perfect for those of you cool people who love rpg games.for those people who hate it...get out of here we dont care this game rocks the roof!so you cant use frodo gandalf or sam but they were stupid anyways and for the frodo,gandalf and sammy fans just imagine that your using them even though your not.i pre orderd this game because lucky me this game is coming exactly on my birthday iam getting it!!!!you can use gimli,legalos, and aragorn the coolest ones.you can use the exact same weapons as the movie.and go hrough the same things like the troll.

I have no idea why people are giving this game 4 or 5 stars. For one thing it is all flash and no substance. You play almost have of the game during The Fellowship of the Ring and the other half during the first half of The Two Towers. So perhaps the game should be called The One Tower? I played it under easy mode and even that was hard such as the scene where you have to prevent the orcs from breaking down the door and you also have to destroy the ram and all of it is timed... it took me several times to finish that scene and when i finally finished it i almost ran out of time... Way too stressful. I wish it wasn't a pure action game; it should have been like The Fellowship of the Ring game... much better than the Two Towers game.

this game has a load of great graphics and you can be three charcters. This game tells you a lot of the second movie thats coming out in deciembre.

THIS GAME REALY [is bad] AND I DONT LIKE IT
THE STORY LINE IS SHORT AS ALL ANY ONE CAN BEAT IT UNDER 3HOURS
EVEN MY LITTLE BROTHER WHO IS ONLY 4 BEAT IT, WAY TOO EASY NO CHALLAGE AT ALL

im not a big fan of lord of the rings like my friends are but i
decided to buy the video game any ways because it sounded cool.
it was fun for the first few days but then it got kinda boring.
my advice to you is do not buy this video game.

Not challenging for a 10 year old.

Even though this game is rated Teen, my 10 year old beat all levels with all chacters in two days. He was given the game by an 11 year old friend that had beaten it quickly, as well. Unless you are a huge fan of the movie, your best bet would be to rent the game for a few days.

These is such a cool game.It is a bit short I have to say though.It has actually movie sceens for The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers and the beginning of the Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring.In this game you can be Legolas, Airagon,or the short droft(I forgot his name my bad) as so as I have played. When each oif these players reacgs a certain level you get to see so cool stuff like what Ejah Wood thought of the game and what everyone else thought of it too.Some levels do get like really hard though like when you have to fight the Ura-kai uglys god it took me like a hundred times to beat that level which got really boring.I particully memorised all the lines from hereing them so many times.The graphics are really cool and it's just like the movie.It gets hard and easy, it has it's ups and downs, but this really is a cool game. But I can't figure out why the Cave Troll looks so drunk.Guess I won't know.Well this si a great game and is totally recommended on my part.So go try it out.

I bought this game because I wanted a tight LORs game for my PS2, I saw that it was a PS greatest hits collection item. I read all the reviews of how great the game play and graphics are. I played expecting a lot and got virtually nothin!!! The gameplay is horrible as well as the graphics. Most of it looks and plays like an old Mortal Combat game, which always sucked!!! I know it's from 2002 and I should realize that games weren't as advanced but I have 1996 Nintendo 64 games that look and play better than this. One thing I liked was the sword control, which uses the JoySticc to swing however you like it to swing, that was good but you cn't destroy enemies unless you memorize a load of dumb combos. The bosses at the level end are great but the levels are weak in 'ry aspect. ALSO Aragon is the only one who is skilled Bloom and that dwarf viking dude really suck. You cannot play as Frodo or Sam or Gandyoth the wizard. THe only level I really enjoyed was a scene from the 1rst film, you are Aragon and you have to fight of those ghosts in black robes on that stone monument with your sword and a torch of fire; that was great! of course for some reason when you beat it you cannot EVER play it again, and it is very short. This game is a waist of money, PS sucked before the year 03 and I recomend only buying new games. Impeach Bush! and don't buy this game unless you really love LOR movies!!!! This is better than any of the role playing games that I have ever played.This is a must own game if you are a gamer.
