Sauron's best

This game is so bad that it looks like Sauron itself was the programer, no twist to the story, super hard levels, (even on easy setting), looks good but better watch the movie, and the rewards are not worth the effort to finish it, stay away from this Ork.

good. in the middle of playing it

i love how they use the movie and then it goes to the game i think that is soo kool. they actually had the actors from the movie this time. that was great, really felt like were there. graphics were good, could be better, the faces of the charcters are somewhat fuzzy. i didnt like how they went back to the first one nd made me do moria again. but it was alot diff in this one. this game is VERY challenging. because u cant save in the middle. if u die u have to do the whole level over. gets a bit frustrating. it came ok packaged it wasnt in an actual case more like a paper made for floppys but the game was fine.
would highly recommend this seller.
very fast delivery

This game is cool.Althow they give you billions of combos none of them really work. Its fun to use your O atack to knock guys into lava or of a ledge but its cinda hard. The Fangorn forest level is scary because orks pop out of nowhare. But you cant use X atack unless your fighting goblins because it dosnt do as much damage as triangle. If you dont have this game already,go and buy it!

Covering with dust right now :)

I'm not a fan of the Lord of The Rings movies, and I still don't know why, I accidentally have this game cause the graphics and the fighting system was looking cool. But all of it fails into a disappointment.

When you put the CD you are encouraged to watch a video clip from the movie, you CANT SKIP the cut-scenes in this games and they have a long length. You see more of the REAL MOVIE CLIPS and less of 3D Cut scenes, which means that was a lacked effort of the producers of the game.

First there was this tutorial in this game that didn't help a lot. When you fight WITH ANY CHARACTERS you get knocked down VERY easily and is just a matter of second until your character is dead then again you have to watch the cut scenes without being able to skip it and start the entire level again.

Other than that all the characters are different, but the game play issues are still there... there is also a combo system where you can "purchase" different attacks depending on the experiences you got in the stage/level. The game is cheap and very linear; no turning back, just go straight forward and sometimes the static cameras won't help because the game usually overwhelms you with enemies (Orcs and orcs and..... zzzzz). The game is still good looking sometimes and is not special compared to other games that i have played.

Buy or rent? Rent it. Don't think that because you are a fan of the movies you will like this game.

Controls are easy to master but does not detract from the game. Vitualy stunning and the movie clips flow into the game seamlesly. Game play is excellent. A must for all LOTR fans.

This game was pretty good. Has some downs and ups.

When I first got it I thought it wasn't that great. Then I started finding tons of orcs that popped out of nowhere. My favorite "orc" is the Ura Kiea (sp). This game is cool. One time Gimly killed all these guys and there was an orc that was coming at him and Legolas shot him in the head in slow motion. Also, you get to fight trolls.

...and I'm glad it's for TTT! I first played this game a couple of years ago, and loved it. Ppl say it's better to play as Aragorn but in my opinon Legolas is and always will be better. I really like how you get warned about something...I remember I was in Balin's tomb and I heard Frodo shout out "Legolas!" and I woke up and saw 20 goblins coming towards me! Another thing I liked is when I shot Gimli...Don't worry he was okay, he just had an arrow sticking out of his back (LOL). Anyhoo, this game has terrific graphics and stupendous voiceovers and out of sight music (duh, I knew that!) Buy this game and you won't forget it!

I bought this game because I wanted a tight LORs game for my PS2, I saw that it was a PS greatest hits collection item. I read all the reviews of how great the game play and graphics are. I played expecting a lot and got virtually nothin!!! The gameplay is horrible as well as the graphics. Most of it looks and plays like an old Mortal Combat game, which always sucked!!! I know it's from 2002 and I should realize that games weren't as advanced but I have 1996 Nintendo 64 games that look and play better than this. One thing I liked was the sword control, which uses the JoySticc to swing however you like it to swing, that was good but you cn't destroy enemies unless you memorize a load of dumb combos. The bosses at the level end are great but the levels are weak in 'ry aspect. ALSO Aragon is the only one who is skilled Bloom and that dwarf viking dude really suck. You cannot play as Frodo or Sam or Gandyoth the wizard. THe only level I really enjoyed was a scene from the 1rst film, you are Aragon and you have to fight of those ghosts in black robes on that stone monument with your sword and a torch of fire; that was great! of course for some reason when you beat it you cannot EVER play it again, and it is very short. This game is a waist of money, PS sucked before the year 03 and I recomend only buying new games. Impeach Bush! and don't buy this game unless you really love LOR movies!!!! "Mr. Frodo!!!"-Samwizwegamge the Hobbit.
