This game is FANTASTIC!! I finally got a copy of this gem after so many months of waiting (the game's release was consistently delayed).
The pros. Lightsaber + you at the controls = Kick.... The training level is solid and quite useful.
Great graphics. Great gameplay. Great music. Definitely worth the wait.
The cons. Besides waiting forever for this release, I would have to agree with the people below concerning save options. We definitely need more of them.
Bottom line: This game well worth the purchase.

This game is incredible it has awsome graphics and the game play is awsome. The controls get a little getting used to but over all this game is awsome. The best thing about this game is all the force powers they're outstanding and the lightsaber is cool. Also multiplayer is just unbelieveable. If your going to get a game for the xbox system this is the one for you
Obi-Wan got it going on

This game is a true star wars masterpiece. Although the graphics are second-rate, the action makes up for it. Fighting hordes of battle droids does get a little old, but come on. There are different objectives to each level. You may have to keep someone alive, hang out with Qui-Gon, or rescue someone. That all comes down to the final duel with Darth Maul. In between the levels, you get to practice your lightsaber skills with the members of the jedi council, and as a bonus mission at the end, it's a battle royal. One of the best Star Wars games.
A Good Game to rent or pay little for--

This game is not bad. It is not a very difficult game and the replay value is slightly enhanced with the 2 Player Jedi Battle. That being said, the graphics are moderate and could have been done MUCH better. The character models are akwards at times. The battle droids however, are done very well.
If there was one glaring problem, it would be the voice acting for Obi-Wan. A drunken Scottsman with a serious head cold. It made me laugh so much at times. Ohhh it was terrible.
The game does provide entertainment in the fact that you can use various force attacks in battle in combination with your lightsaber. At times you can also use a sniper rifle, grenades, and even an automatic laser cannon. The play does get a bit boring as it is a continous decimation of hoards of enemies with little variance.
Like I said in the title, this would be a good game to rent, or purchase for a small amount.
RENT IT! DO NOT BUY IT.

I always rent games before I buy so I dont waste 60.00 bucks. Well if you are a hard core gammer like myself you will beat the game in a couple days max. So for 5 bucks I beat the game and was not Impressed one bit. However my 3 yr. old son loves the game but he even prefers fusion frenzy to this game. And remember rent them before you buy them.
Very upset

I bought this game because of the Star Wars name like im sure most people did. What a let down...One can tell this game was pushed through production too quickly. As pointed out earlier the frame rates are dispicable, the action mediocre at best, and gameplay less then fun. This game could have been great if they spent some more time on it (but they didn't...

So I was an eight-year-old boy when the original Star Wars came out. And like any good little boy, I loved space ships, sword fights, and big explosions. But all in the same movie??? And sword blades made from LASERS??? Somehow, George Lucas dove right into my brain and took the scraps of my imagination to whip together a movie.
But there was always one thing missing -- I never got a real light saber to play with. Well, now I do. And for that reason alone, despite some flaws, Obi-Wan gets five stars. And most of my free time.
Fun... but not without problems

Briefly, this game is a "Star Wars" hack and slash presented in third person. You play young Obi-Wan as he works his way through a story that is about 50% new and about 50% Episode I related. The game looks average for an X-BOX title (which is not surprising given its former PC development cycle) but does feature some nice light sourcing and other effects. Backgrounds look a little flat, characters are blocky and not particularly well animated, and the voice acting is a bit like a high school drama performance. Control of the game is good with one control stick moving Obi-Wan and the second stick swinging his lightsabre. A variety of force moves can be used while fighting (force pull/push/disarm/slow-mo/jump) and these are the best part of the game. There are quite a few interesting ways to dispose of your foes and the lightsabre fighting is the best to date in a "Star Wars" game. Overall, the game is fun for the die-hard fan who is willing to overlook a few rough edges. The biggest overall issue in my opinion is the significant (and seemingly random) dips in frame rate. There is really no excuse for this kind of problem given the relative simplicity of the game's graphics and the processing power of the X-Box. Rent before buying unless you eat, sleep, and breathe "Star Wars".

This game rocks. There are a lot of controls, but they are easy to master. This game has awesome dodging!!!!! The 2 player is also awesome. You can do really cool moves, like force push force throw objects at your enmy, force attack reflect bullets execute attacks that kill enemies in 1 hit (except for bosses) and force jump. I recomend this game to anyone who is looking for a fun, action packed game. Buy it. You wont regret it!

this game rocks i'm not even the super freak starwars fan but I love this game the darth maul level is great and the 2 levels before the only reason why people say it's bad is because the first couple of levels are boring and they give up on it the begining of episode 1 was boring to so there's you're answer and there isn't really a force defend you put force in you're lightsaber that reflect enemy hits and the slow motion rocks but there's a cool bug in the game if you're force meter is 1/2
way downhold down the force botton and throw you're lightsaber if you press the slowmotion when you're saber comes back it will last the whole level I like playing the level before darth maul in slo mo anyway much better than jedi outcast2 for xbox
