This is one of the funner Star Wars games. Obi Wan has great grapics.But... It is the easies game I've ever played, I beat within one week, I should have just rented it. It is a fun game thought

Lucas Arts Does it Again..

I promised myself I wouldn't buy Lucas Arts games anymore.. but of course I was a sucker for this game when it came out on Xbox. I've tried twice to play this game and both times grew bored of it within 15 minutes. Compared to other XBox games I have this game doesn't even come close. Game control is tedious at best and load times are terrible. The graphics are decent I guess.. but based on games like Halo, they really aren't up to par. To top it off, for whatever reason, Lucas Arts has made Obi-Wan's voice sound like a bad William Shatner impression! Honestly, anyone who says this is the best game for XBOX hasn't bothered to play Halo, Max Payne, Madden, NHL Hitz, etc..

SAVE YOUR MONEY! Rent this game.

It'll tie you over till Jedi Knight 2 comes out

Basically this is a rehash of Jedi Power Battles (JPB). That's not necessarily a bad thing. The game industry has been rehashing games for years. E.g. Gauntlet, FIFA, car driving games. With each rehash the game has been upgraded to take advantage of the new technology.

I enjoyed JPB, and Jedi Knight- and I would really enjoy playing an updated version of these games. Obi-wan is exactly that. It improves on the graphics and adds Force capabilities (push, throw, pull, saber throw, jump) and character control (acrobatics) that were not present in JPB.

If you are looking for breakthrough graphics and game play, this is not the game for you. If you need something to tie you over till Jedi Knight 2 comes out, this will probably work.

I've been sitting here reading the review by William Harms and he's talking like it's the worst game ever to be released since the original NES! Honestly I don't see whats so wrong with it. Granted I was only able to play for a few hours cuz the game wasn't mine but I still enjoyed it. Quite honestly that review was not accurate IMPO.

ce jeu est pas mal amusant , bons graphiques et bonne jouabilite. considerant le prix ce jeu est une aubaine. pour les fans de star wars je le recommande fortement.

This is a good game, don't mark me wrong, but it is usually super easy (including the darth maul fight and free-for-all) so I would suggest renting it first. Then you can decided for yourself.

A must try for Star Wars RPG fans!

While Star Wars Obi Wan is not the best RPG ever by a long shot and has a number of flaws(including character appearance, character voices, player controls, and graphics), it still has characteristics that make it a game worth playing:

1) You get to fight with a lightsaber, a weapon capable of not only hurting or killing opponents but also of blocking their attacks. Thus the need for a place of cover is not always necessary.

2) The A.I. of your opponents, with the exception of the other jedi knights and Darth Maul, is very low. Therefore you can make it through a level the first time 9 times out of 10.

3) You get to fight the other jedi knights either with the cpu or another player in command.

4) You have a number of force powers( including the ability to jump long or high distances and to push people and objects away), making it easier to get out of rough situations.

5) Best of all you get to fight Darth Maul at the end of the game!

All in all, Star Wars Obi-Wan is worth at least a rental, if not a used game purchase.

Great way to get your Jedi fix

This is a great way to work off your Jedi impulses.

Within minutes of starting, you are force pushing, yanking weapons out of battle droids hands and of course slashing your lightsaber all over the place.

A nice lite version of Jedi Knight II.

The story line syncs up with the storyline in Phantom Menace (so you get to beat up Darth Maul) as well as giving you a chance to run around the gutters of Corsuscant and meet some new foes.

Must have for anyone that's ever wished they had a real lightsaber.

Me and my friend always play this and halo every time he comes over, we enjoy this just about as much as halo. It doesnt have the greatest graphics, but the gameplay is fun, and also really funny if u find some of the cool stuff and look at some of the little animations. Its a fun single player game as well, it doesnt last very long, but oh well. You are able to reflect enemy bullets back on to them, it will hit them right in the chest, and theyll go down. You can throw your saber like a boomerang clear across the room. I like slowing down the game with the slow mo feature, it doesnt really help but hey, it looks cool! You can also pull guns straight out of the enemies hands. Well, all in all its a pretty good game to have around, fun with friends too, o yeah, there is a cool battle royal game after u beat the game.
