good but at the same time it's boring

yes the game is very good. i havent got the chance to play it online. I still play tournaments with friends. the controls in this game ( out of 5) is a 3.7. they are hard to master. gameplay is a 4.9. there can be some rough spots. A.I for your team mates is a 2.2. they get in the way causing you to get shot a lot.enemy A.I is a 5 they are very smart.graphics are a 4.10.
there can be object that need to be 3d that are 2d
fun factor is most definatley a 5. This game is addictive.
there is so much good thing to write about this game. Levels are emerse and interactive. fire fights make you feel like you are actually on the battle field.
the weapons shoot just like the real thing. Overall the game is interesting. every level will want you to keep playing. shorty z was here. oh yeah if any one out ther knows the lowest price for socom tell me.

bon jeu mais il y a pas de statiques sauvegardees sur xbox live ce qui enleve un peu de challenge. a part ca le jeu a de bons grafx , bonne musique , bon gameplay.

Get it cheap

I bought this game when it first came out for the Xbox due to the fact it was one of the early FPSs available for LIVE play back then. Fisrt off the menu system is TERRIBLE! It is cluncky and confusing and the button presses don't always take during game setup. Secondly it is not well done on LIVE at all. The most the average connection will be able to handle is about 3 players online which due to the large maps is pretty dissapointing. Little annoyances like not being able to step over a 2" piece of rock jetting out from a cliff edge can get tiresome. Now the good news as I see it. If you give this game the time it needs to hook you then you will enjoy it. Once you get comfotable with the controls and put the little problems behind you this game is quite fun in single player. Shooting a guy from across the river with the 50cal sniper rifle is worth the HUGE amount of work required to unlock it. I actually completed this game on the hardest setting in order to unlock everything and really got into it. The graphics are good enough but this game was a year or two old when it was ported to the Xbox so today (late 2005) it shows it's age graphically. As cheap as this game is today it is definately worth it in my opinion but if you have no patience then you might want to pass it up. The best games are generally the hardest, they are the games one goes back to play 1-3 years later. (Moto GP2, Ghost Recon, PGR2).

The good: graphics(wow), sound(wow), the idea of controlling a team or 2 teams of men through special forces combat, the storyline, and more. But....could have a little longer levels, and I personally would like either team or individual control. The AI does not always have your team helping you in the most advantageous way and sometimes not at all...I would dearly love to be able to position each man with his own orders in some instances.....sigh if that were the case, no more being flanked by the enemy on some levels. Worth the money!

Ghost Recon is a very solid game with great graphics and excellent gameplay. The missions and the game as a whole is original and will excite even the dullest of gamers. An Amazing Game!!!

ok this game is awesome don't listen to the people who say it has bad grpahics and you can;t tell a rock from a guy. the garphics are great and i have never shot a rock or a tree because im not stupid. it is very very realistic so don't go crazy and run out at evryone.

Have you ever wanted to command a group of specially trained soliders into combat? Well now it's your chance!!! This game is based in a courpt future when a sinister political party siezes control in Mosscow(The capital of Russia). This party bassicaly is trying to bring back the old soviet empire. You'll find out the detaills in the game.In this game you will be able to travel through 15 unique landscapes.The game play is awesome and your AI's and enemies react differnt to each senario like real soliders do! I personally think this is one of the best Squad Based Game EVER!!! This game may not be for everybody,but I personally Give it a 4.7/5 and I really,really suggest it to war junkies.

Ok I've read many reviews about this game but after buying it I thought it was kind of cool, online play with multiplay co-op missions. The Only thing I didn't like is that the models look like crap. Buildings often look like a big huge square with mapping on them. Sound was almost the same as old Deerhunter games. Moving your character slowly or fast always produces the same footsteps only if you crouch does it change. In fact I have created 3d games with better sound than this. To bad my phsyics stink.

This is a great game to play, but i would not go as far as to say the best xbox game. I still can not match the experience of HALO the game of all games. Ghost recon though helps me cope with my withdrawl symptoms.

This game is one of the best games that i have bought for my xbox so far besides halo but i highly recommend it for anyone who likes military war games.
