Beautiful Graphics. Engaging storyline. Intuitive control systems. Immense levels. Intriguing characters. Challenging (yet solvable puzzles). This games is a landmark for Nintendo. Every N64 owner should have this game. This is perhaps the perfect game, the kind of game that you can sit and play for hours on end and not feel like you're running in circles. There are so many challenges and such a variety (everything from climbing a volcano while rocks rain down on you to trying to land the biggest fish in the lake) that you are never without something new and interesting to tackle. Ocarina is an expansive world unto itself with towns, fields, wilderness, castles and dungeons all completely open to exploration.
Buy this game.
Best N64 game to ever enter my N64.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing in the market, my eyes almost popped out of my @$$. This game was a well anticipated game, and it had to be mine. Of course, after a while you can get bored of it, but hours later it seems like you cant wait to play it again. Buy this game if you are into action/adventure RPGs, it is a good mixup of those two. In this game, you can ride a horse, Epona, jam on the Ocarina, go fishin', play mini-games, like bowling & shooting gallery, defeat many unique bosses, explore a world of your own, and much much more. I without a doubt rate this game 5 stars.
Miyamoto has done it again!

I have played through every single Legend of Zelda game since I was a kid (late 80's); my first Zelda game I got in return for a defunct Marble-Roller-Coaster thingy, and I've been addicted ever since.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time is no disappointment. It delivers all the puzzle, dungeon, and challenge features I come to expect from a Zelda game. Even the dungeon bosses are what they were in the first Zelda game -- unbelievably huge (only now in 3D).
Contrary to what some nitpickers have said, this IS an RPG. These are the people who think anything that isn't made by Square isn't an RPG, the "elitists" if you will who think the Nintendo is dying. Being an avid collector and enthusiast of both Square and Miyamoto titles, I have every right to say this: Zelda puts FF7 in a grave (albeit, some very difficult parts of the game are really, really, really annoying me in Zelda... wait for the Water Temple). Sure, it may not have a Shakespearian-developed story in which the characters act and talk as if they were on stage, but this game isn't supposed to be a movie. It strips all the worthless bull that isn't needed down to the bare essentials of a great game that literally takes you into its world of many lands and many monsters and puts you in the shoes of a lone hero, for you to figure out many hours of puzzles, fighting gigantic bosses, travelling to many many many many lands, yada yada yada.
Buy this title. If you dont have an N64, buy an N64 and then buy this title.
How can you compare 32 bit to 64 bit?

If FFVII was on a 64 bit system, it would be at the same level as Zelda64, isn't it? I mean, that's not fair, of course the sound and graphics are better, that's because it is a 64 bit system.

If I beat this game, it makes me want to delete that file and start over because this is fun. I also like Majora's mask, but you have to beat it in 3 days and start over again in a different way. I love the series and I hope the series never ends!! The bosses are cool but Ganondorf is the only one you can beat an unlimited amount of times.

... It has wonderful music, adventure, storyline, and very easy game control!! The only time Link has looked cooler was on Gamecube. 2 days ago, they let you start pre-ordering The Legend of Zelda:The Wind Waker. This weekend I'm going to order it and the minute you order it, they will give you a free disc with the Ocarina of time for Gamecube. Not only the original but also The Master Quest which has more puzzles and temples!!! If u have an N64 or even wanna order the new zelda to get this game also, I would recommend this game more than you can imagine!!!
Music- It was good enough for a soundtrack! I find myself singing along with it. I listen to music from this game all the time such as, Gerudo Valley, Zora's Domain, Kakoriko Village, and many others.
Graphics-For the N64, even graphics amaze me! As they say in the reveiw (Which was written when the N64 was the best system) there are "cascading waterfalls" and the graphics will amaze you even if you helped make the game.
Gameplay- The best game control ever!!! There is even a special Z-targeting feature to help you not lose you're enemies.
Storyline- Wonderful!!! I'm not going to waste your time because you read the reveiw at the top and probably already know the game is about. But it is wonderful!!
If you don't have this game, buy it!!! You have missed out!!! With it's "elaborate colors", game control, graphics, and MUSIC (thank you Koji Kondo!), This game will be you're favorite even after you beat it!!!
What are you waiting for?

If you have an N64 you absolutely should have this game. It's a remake of the classic Zelda game from the good old NES and SNES systems with some added twists, new terrain and interesting characters.
If you have a GameCube I would recommend you pre-order The upcoming title "The Wind Waker" and if you do this right now Nintendo is offering a special deal where you can get a special release of "Ocarina of Time" for Game Cube. Not just the good old "Ocarina of Time," made famous on N64, but also an enhanced version called "Master Quest." Make sure to put both into your shopping cart and enter the correct code while checking out to capitalize on this great value.
Happy Hunting.

the zelda of zelda ocarina of time is one of the best games on the N64. It may be an old game but I still play it when not game cube. Nintendo is coming out with it on GC. This is a very good game for the Nintendo 64.
