The Best Game...Ever...

This game is truly phenonemonal. From the amazing graphics (for what it is; a N64 game), to the music, to the challenging gameplay, to the engulfing storyline, the "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" is a must-play for any age. You start the game off as young Link (or whatever you want to call him), who lives in an enchanted forest where young never grow old. Inside the forest, there is a godly tree, who could be considered to be infinitly wise. The tree senses Link has the power to overthrow a great evil which is arising, and tests him to the dungeon inside of him. Link comes out, sucessful, and the tree tells him the story of the great evil which is arising. From then on, you play young Link, and must overcome many obstacles. As a child, there are 3 dungeons, and the tree's counts as one, so you're making some time, right? WRONG. There's much more to this game then beating dungeons. As a child, you can't acess as many of the things, but after you advance 7 years to the future and attain the Master Sword, many of these things are then open to you. As a child, you got an ocarina, in which you must learn songs on to access special places or do special things. Now, you can do all those things, and more. My personal favorite is Epona's song, in which you place a horse's (Epona) song, and it comes to you, in which you can ride across Hyrule Field to get to places twice as fast. As a child, you have weapons like a stick (whoopey), a sword, a shield, a sling-shot, and Duku Nuts. As an adult, you can handle 2 swords: the Master Sword, and the Giant Sword, which is so big you must handle it with 2 hands, which means no shield. You also have the hook-shot, Megaton Hammer, bow-and-arrows, and magic crystals you can do different things with. I cannot begin to explain how amazing this game is. I'd buy a Nintendo 64 all over again just for this. Now I have a Playstation 2, and I still have my Nintendo 64, but only play two games on it; this, of course, and Super Smash Brothers. Now, do yourself a favor, buy this game, and experience teh magic yourself.

I rented this game to see what all the hype was about and I loved it!!! This is without a doubt the best N64 game!
I got it shortly after I rented it. If you don't have an N64 get this game for gamecube. It is really hard but is quite fun!
I reccamend getting the players guide if you get this game.

The best thing about this game is the bosses. I mean, who ever heard of a boss called Bongo Bongo? The mini bosses are great, too! Shadow link is a cool mini boss. But the bosses arent the only cool features in this game, the complex puzzeles are also fun. JUST GET THE GAME AND SEE!!!!!!!! :)

GREATEST GAME EVER!!!!!

This is the game. The game of all games. The graphics on this game were incredibly astounding for its time period, and those that say otherwise have either not played the game or have played it after the GC(GameCube) and PS2 revolution. This game is fun for all ages. A great story line and plot follow the game through out the game, giving plenty of suspense and action to the player.

The game begins with Link getting his fairy, and becoming a true Korkiro boy. What Link finds out is that he isn't really Korkiran and is destined to save the world from the evil Ganondorf. The game brings the player to a world filled with creatures that are equally imaginitive in their own up bringing, each trying to attack the our main character. Yet, Link in return faces the challenge with unrelenting force to continue his destiny, to save Hyrule.

Through out the story you get many exciting items and you get even animals, such as a cow(depending on what you do) and a horse, Epona, who speeds you along through out the land. You get such items as: a grapling hook, a bow and arrow, a sling shot, and many more.

The graphics are amazing and bring the player into a 3-D environment. This was the first Zelda game to be brought to life in 3-D.

Keep playin everbody.

Watch out Ganondorf, Link is here to kick your butt!

This is the best game ever made on the N64! When my friend let me borrow it I was amazed sice the only games I had played were Golden Eye and Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire. I wish that I had the gold pak though. Great strategy. The game play is great. I suggest not using the Player's Guide until you've tried everything once. When you beat the game and you want to complete the game (i.e. getting all upgrades, Gold Skulltulla tokens, and Heart Pieces) then you should also get it.

1# on my list

When I first bought this game I was fasinated by the grafics and how well it responded to my every command. It also was very addicting (like all zelda games) but it lacked something, it had very challenging puzzels to where I was asking my friends for help and it had puzzels that were way too easy. The bosses were great and challenging and the anoying 'floor master' adds a good twist to the game. The fairy idea was new and a good one. The rumble pack added a very good touch. But once I beat the game it got boring playing that section just to beat Ganon agian and agian. BUT, like the other zelda games (exept for Oracle of Ages)starting a new game over IS NOT boring but is a whole new adventure(discovering secrets, heart pieces and upgrades for your items)! So if youre looking for a good all-around RPG get this-but if you want more action get Oracle of Seasons-or-more puzzles get Oracle of Ages and Majora's Mask. All in all this is a great game! So get it if you don't have it, and if you have it and it's just collecting dust, start a new game and you'll realize things you took for granted.

what a game
