I love this game! You can't say that you are a Zelda fan, if you don't own this game. This game features an awesome storyline, unforgettable characters, and just keeps getting better. You could play this game forever, and not get tired of it! If you have a N64 system, you better own this game! Or if you have a Gamecube, you should have the Legend of Zelda Collectors Disk!

I simply LOVE playing video games! I gave this game five stars because it deserves it. It has a great plot that takes you into trees, under mountains, through the desert, and in a near incounter with death. When you get stumped in a dungeon/temple you have loads of other things to do! You can bowl with bomb mice, practise your archery, or you can take diving lessons. With secret doors and fake walls, mystery surrounds you at every turn. With challenging bosses with different weaknesses you simple can't get bored. There are always new things to discover:)
By far the greatest game ever

This role playing game is by far the greatest I have and probably will ever play! This game features everything anyone could want in a game. Intense sword battles, challenging bosses, and ofcourse the basic boy wakes up from a prophecy to find a friend that will help him not only save the land of Hyrule but find out who this breave young boy really is. This game has a little bit of everything from every role playing game ever. It has absolute brilliant graphics, a down right amazing story line, and if you are into the role playing type games then this is a must have!!!
This game is so amazing I am starting to think it can-not and will not be touched even by any of it's sequals or any other game. This game was so good that Ocorina of Time made the next in the series Majoras mask look like absolute ... (and Majoras mask was a good game too). If I could I would rate this game higher than a five, (more like a 20) and I think many who have played this game would agree. This is a must have game that is more than worth every last penny that you spend on it. Have fun with it!!!! Peace

The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time is the absolute best Zelda game ever!!! If you liked a Link to the Past for SNES, then you'll like this game. It packs in a long story, which at minimum, the game will take you about 12 hours. Lot's of adventure with sword fighting and puzzles. Clever enemies and puzzles will sometime stump you. This game I thought was better than majora's Mask. Ocarina of Time is a classic game that everybody in the world should own!!!
Fun, Long-Lasting, and Annoying

Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a well-made game that perfectly blends battle sequences and puzzles. The battles, which can only be won using the right method against the right enemy, are simplified by Z-Targeting, which aims all attacks at the enemy. It takes a long time to beat (months), as any good RPG (Role-Playing Game) should. Unfortunately, it constantly and inevitably reminds you of the controls, although they're pretty easy, in messages which you usually must read. I suggest this for all people, especially those that enjoy a good challenge.
Amazingly original and entertaining! Wow!

This is the best game I have ever played. Period. Now I was skeptical about it at first, and never touched it until this April. My friend tirelessly tried to convince me of its supiority to other games, but I blew it off without another thought. That is until a rainy day when my boredom convinced me to rent it from a local store called Hastings. So I pressed 'new game' and sat back to see if it was really what all the hype was about. After the first cinima (movie-thing), and the first challenging dive into the dying Deku tree, I was hooked. I got sucked into the world, and the charicters had so much depth! Granted, during the long course of the game, some 'dungeon-levels' can get annoying when you can't figure out the little trick to solving the puzzle to reach the boss, but all in all, it was awesome. The whole ocarina thing, and the theme songs of several places, is creative and supurb. Finally, the end of the game, after all those hours of sweat and blood, is unpredicatble and cool. Its not like they just roll the credits and a little 'The-end' sign pops up. The finale was wonderful. Don't read the guide or have someone tell you before-hand what happens in it, or that will ruin the fun and purpose. Another nice detail about the game, is you can replay the final boss as much as you like, because the game cannot be saved after you beat it, something 'they' say is because of the lack of memory. Also, there is this whole horse-thing. You eventually get your own horse, I thought it pretty cool, I liked the touch it added to the game. So if your considering buying or playing or are just curious about the game, try it, get it. I guarentee you, you will not be disapointed.

Ocarina of Time is the finest game made for the Nintendo 64. It is possibly the finest video game made to date. This beautiful 3D world will challenge even the most jaded gamer. The dungeons and temples are beautifully rendered, and each has a remarkably executed theme. The storyline for the game is a typical Zelda story of Link vs. Gannon, but the execution and the gameplay keep it head and shoulders above the rest. You would be doing yourself a disservice to own a Nintendo 64 console without this phenomenal game.

I have been an avid Zelda player since...forever. i've played each of the games at least once, and I've beaten all but two. My favorite remains A Link To The Past, but Ocarina of Time definetly clocks in at second.
Most Zelda games have the typical style of a few dungeons, an item in each dungeon, and that's all you have to do to beat the game. beat the dungeons, and get the item. In Link To The Past, they started to branch off from that and add side quests and stuff, and it's a full scale change in Ocarina of Time. There are some side quests that are essential. There are some you can do just for fun, though the reward would be worth it.
The plot of Ocarina of Time is that as a young boy, Link gets his guardian fairy, and is told to go before the Great Deku Tree. The Deku Tree tells him an evil has consumed him, and so begins theuest. Link learns he's actually Hylian, not Kokiri, and that his destiny is to get the Master Sword in the Temple of Time...only one catch, he needs the Three Spiritual Stones.
After Collecting the Stones (Inside The Deku Tree, Dodongo's Cavern, Inside Jabu Jabu's Belly), you open the door to the Temple of time, but when you grab the Master Sword, who should appear? Only the evilest villan Nintendo has ever created (Okay okay, you could debate Bowser, but come on, Bowsers a dolt) Ganondorf, heretofore known as Ganon. You are put in this time warp, and seven years later you wake up to Rauru, the sage of light. he tells you of five other sages you must awaken to defeat Ganondorf. The five sages are the Sage of Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, and Spirit (You've met four of the five before in this game).
This game is great. The bosses were hard (Phantom Ganon, Bongo Bongo) the temples were frustrating, but not impossible 9Water Temple, Shadow Temple) and the game play is real. You have a wide array of different items, some found in temples, some found in Hyrule. The game stays true to past Zelda games, and really raises the bar for adventure games. Without a doubt, the Zelda games are some of the greatest to ever be released on any Game Console. Some Final Fantasy fans may debate that, but my vote stays with Zelda. I can't wait for the Zelda on gamecube.
The best RPG game of all time!

I played this game and never wanted to stop. In my opinion, this is the best RPG game ever. It is fun just to play, and run around. The graphics are great, and it is just plain fun. What is also nice is that getting past certain parts of levels aren't very hard, and you don't get upset playing it.
Pros:
1) Great graphics
2) Great plot/storyline
3) Characters look great
4) Easy figuring out what to do
5) Just plain fun
Cons:
1) Ummm
