This is a great game all around. Sure there a few framerate issues, but what game doesn't have that. This is an Live! enabled game with a pretty decent single player game. With the price dropped on it what's not to like. It's got a fast gameplay, quiet a few nice weapons, and it's not a dissapointment if you got Live! and know how to use it. Buy it and you'll not regret it

I don't have a cable modem and cant afford cable but i thought this would be a cool buy nonetheless because it has first player and i assumed (keyword right there) that i could play it multiplayer with my friends. apparently thats not gonna happen cuz you can only have multiplayer with two xboxes or xbox live which blows massive amounts of man jiggle.

Good single-player but a MUST HAVE multiplayer game.

Anyone can make a first-person shooter. Thankfully, Unreal brings a number of new twists to the console FPS genre. The game includes unique "races" with different traits and abilities -- so you can select a character based on your style of play. Plus the single-player mode includes a number of fun twists on a team strategy game.

But where you really need to be is on X-box Live. Once you get online, you may never leave the house. Unreal is incredibly fast-paced and fun. There are alternate games like "Double Domination" and classics like "Capture the Flag," but don't kid yourself... You'll spend most of your time in deathmatch or team deathmatch.

You won't be sorry you bought this game... But your girlfriend/wife/kids/family/friends might be, since you'll be trying to spend all your time playing!

this game is kick but. you can play online without the key bord in your way, and its alot like tribes. i played all night with this (even though i stink i did alright) if you got xbox live and 50 bucks in your pocket, get unreal tournament.

Get this if u have Xbox

This is an awesome game. It has great graphics, a fast pace a good character selection. It has a 4 races which are super fast-low armor, fast-some armor, meduim everything, and slow-heavy armor. In each race there are at least 10 which have diff wepon specialties. They can fire faster, have more ammo, or do more damage. There are a cupl of game modes like ctf deathmatch, bombing run,team deathmatch and king of the hill. If you get this game and have broadband(dsl or cable internet) get Xbox live.

you might want to check out unreal tournament 2003 instead..

Am I the first to realize that this is basically just a port of Unreal tournament 2003 to a console? They are the exact same game except Ut2K3 is for Pc and is cheaper, and Unreal Championship is for xbox, more, and you have to subscribe to xbox live. And, as with most PC games, UT2k3 is moddable, whereas UC isn't. And finally, it's harder to aim with a controller than with a mouse. But I still give this game 3 stars because even though it's hard to control, UC retains some of the fun from UT2K3.

A lot of fun.

Great game based on Unreal Engine 2 (obviously) intended for multiplayer, but is also good for the lone offline gamer because it uses BOTS! Bungi should take notice. Now half the games out there seem to use a modified Unreal engine...Love the taunts.

The game has good graphics, enough to see yourself and other players, distingush weapons and buildings, but they aren't exactly as good as Halo, but then again, nothing is as good as Halo.

The weapons are sick and you can blow people to hell with just about any of them. They have beamy rifles, shotgun type things, rocket launchers, a teleporter, and a gun that you charge up and then when you touch a player, they go flying into oblivion.

It's bloody and gory and you might happen upon your opponents disembodied head or limb with blood trailing everywhere.

The maps are good and I don't get tired of them, they're very creative, and good to play with your friends. They're all big and have two bases, which are usually identical and have some sort of defensive position on them.

Multiplayer is awesome, I love destroying my friends with big "boooooms" and then laughing at them, getting them angry, and then finding myself with my head disembodied half-way across the map. The AI are actually usefull and do stuff, unlike the marines in the first Halo, they will help you take the flag or protect the base with 3 commands you can make. You can also make funny taunts.

Single player is basically just like multiplayer, except you can customize who's on your team and your team members can get experience.

I haven't tried it with xbox live, although I will soon, but I've heard it's not so good for it.

I'd buy the game, especially now that you can buy it for something like 20 bucks.

THIS IS AN AWESOME GAME.(if you have xbox live)this game is really fun on xbox live with another person.If there is no one on line(which I doubt)it would be the same as single player.Do not buy this game if you do not have xbox live.But if you do it should be the first one you buy because it is the best game on earth. With six online games,guns and some competition you would have the best game on earth.But like I said DO NOT BUY THIS GAME WITHOUT XBOX LIVE!!

I still love this game without Xbox Live. The ladder campaign is fun to do over and over with the huge selection of characters. It would take a while to finish the ladder as a Human, Juggernaught, Nightmare, ect. all on Godlike. Don't listen to people who say it's not fun alone, because it is.
