Fun but...........

To start things off, Splinter Cell is great. The games is fun and the graphics are terrific! About being better than Metal Gear Solid 2. Well, it's different. I won't say that it's better than Metal Gear Solid 2, but it's not worst. Don't be confused. Both games revolve around not being seen, but MGS2 has... uhhh "boss battles" but doesn't use light and shadows the same way... The controls for Metal Gear Solid 2 are more responsive and tight... Anyway, if you like a little suspense and getting tense when you play a game, you'll love this... Every moment in the game, you are sneaking around and trying to stay in the dark, even when you have a gun. Though, people don't call back up and attack you with endless waves of soldiers like metal gear solid 2, Sam Fisher can only take a few shots before he's 86ed. If you like Metal Gear, you may or may not like this.. I don't know, but the game is fun and is at least a couple of rentals.

splinter cell is much better than metal gear solid metal gear has horiblle camera angles and graphics and its too futuristic if your into stuff that can actually happen thats splinter cell besides what kind of agent has a mullet sam fisher is stronger stealtheier and better kombayn nikoladez didnt even know who he was plus splinter cell has better graphics u can control the camera anglesand it can happen if your looking for a challenge splinter cell is hard but adicting so buy splinter cell it's fun 9.6 is its xbox ratting

The answer is YES. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is a very unique and excelent game. The graphics are very good, and very realistic. Amazing sound puts you right in the game. The moves the main character Sam Fisher does are extremely cool. My personal favorite is standing between walls. If I had to choose between Halo and Splinter Cell, I would say Splinter Cell. With its terrific depth, it gets you right into the game more then any other title availble on the Xbox Gaming System.

Value: 10/10

This is one of the best games that I've ever played on any system or pc. All the sneaking around and trying no to be detected brings out alot of fun stress. Not too many games can do that. The levels are challenging, but not impossible. There's also plenty of good save points so that you don't have to get too frustrated when you die.
The only problem is that you can't skip the cutscenes. They are entertaining at first, but when you die one too many times and have to sit through the cutscenes again, it can get very annoying.
For those who really have the need to blast bad guys, there are some levels here that require just that. A little something for everyone here.
Replay value is pretty good too. Once you finish, there's always incentive to try something else. Accomplishing your goals is pretty open ended.
Great game, great experience.

This game has awsome graphics and you stay at the edge of your seat. Then you can only set off a certain number of alarms until you fail and sometimes you can't set off any alarms. Health is hard to come by and you have to be careful. You can't just run in and gun everyone down. You have to aim or you'll probably miss and then shot to death. Also how you make shadows move is cool and how you can use it to hide is cool.

This is a great game that requires a large amount of time and patience. The game itself can be very agrivating at times but also very fun. To say the hardest mission would be The Cia Level were you can kill no one and one alarm will end the mission. The whole basis of this mission is to find the leak in the Cia and then kidnap him.The easiest and funnest level is the next one entitled Kaltrinek. Kaltrinek is a computer pirating company that has been takin over by Russian Mercenaries. This level is only a fraction of the toughnies of the Cia but, is funer becuase, you can kill and watch your ennimies "accidently" commit suicide by playing with your wall mines. All in all I rate the game 5 stars that are well deserved by the absolute hardness and the respect of it making me learn patience of everything. Go out and buy this game. Everyone that I know seems to love it. It's rated a 9.6/10 in X-Box magazine, Editors Choice X-Box magazine, Game of the Year by numberous magazines and websites, and the best game ever by Electronic Underground magazine.

This has to be one of the best games for Xbox on the market today. The graphics are outstanding and the gameplay is great. The only problem I saw with this game is that there didn't seem to be any difference in the difficulty levels. Overall this is a great game that I have played at leat 5 times. Can't wait for Splinter Cell 2.

when it comes to stealth this game is like no other. It has beautiful graphics, pretty good AI, and good gadgets. The game keeps you glued to your seat until the very end. Full of twists and turns, this game only has one flaw:the AI. they are smart but they are also a bit dumb. you can sneak past some of them and they won't notice. Sometimes they shoot at walls when they can't see you but never run out of bullets. If the game is at a good price, i recommend buying the game. I garautee that this game is probably the best stealth game and its only rival is hitman 2 (see my review on that)

This has got to be one of the best stleath games ever. You play as a CIA oparative and have to go all across the world to do misssions. You have a great assortment of gadgets for all kinds of things. You have non-lethal methods of taking people out and knocking them out. I give this game 5 stars, this is a great game
