Splinter Cell is a pretty good game in all
there are great graphics.....tough bad guys that don't just go "ughhhgghh" and die, they actually run after you (not stay stable positioned).
The guns are not very good because you only get the pistol to start out....pretty good aim though.
Overall the game is not that bad, but rent it before you get it because you might not like it...depending on your game style.

this game rocks!
what i like:the graphics are ausome
the weapons and gadgets
the training level is cool
on the first level you can pick up glass bottles
smash them
the price is low
what i don'tlike:the camera views
on the first level when you get out of the police building,shoot the two guys in front of the house.in the house there is a code locked by a code.there should be a picture.ineract with it.it should slide and there is a computer.turn it on.it will tell you the code for the door.also,in the bathroom there is a medi kit.

It's violent! Lots of swearing! It has a couple of lines like don't shoot me which some people think is very intense, but it's a great game. You are a goverment agent who is sent on many missions. All in all it's again a great game.

I have played numerous action stealth games on the PS1, PS2, Dreamcast and X-box;Splinter Cell is by far the best. The story is very immersive, the graphics are amazing and the controls are easy enough not to distract from the game play. The levels are difficult but not impossible. The gameplay is quite enjoyable with enough going on that you have to think about everything you do. The gadgets are beyond fun. Optical video, stun grenades, lock picks and more. But don't be fooled, this game is about being very sneaky. If you are the Gung Ho type, you will not enjoy this game. But if you enjoy sneaking up on someone and bashing them on the head, then this is the game for you.In short Splinter cell is the peak of Stealth style games.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell has been compared with the up and coming Metal Gear Solid 2:Substance for XBOX. There is no comparison. Splinter Cell is the best game created thus far for XBOX. The shadow and lighting effects are just amazing, not to mention the night vision and thermal vision modes. Even the A.I. is smart. For example, turn off a light switch and watch the gaurd look clumsily around in the dark for the light switch. By then you already grabbed him from behind and are holding a gun to his head. The thermal vision is especially cool because after you shoot a gaurd and kill him, just switch on the thermal vision and watch his body heat disappear. Even during the right time, you can do a Jet Li-style split jump and stay between two walls and wait until your opponent walks under you. Again, at the right time you can jump on top of him and knock him out. Anybody who has an XBOX should buy this game immeadiately.

I just got this game, due to the release of splinter cell: Chaos theory, it rocks! Your a guy named sam fisher, and you do super cool stealth missisons. I gave this game a 5 cause its awesome!

This game is really cool. I enjoy killing people who are innocent and then hiding them then waiting for more people to walk by and spring the trap.

I gave this 4 because Metal Gear 1 is better than this so this comes secend unless the sequal is better.

Great graphics - shadows, lighting and more
Great gameplay - with great moves and gadgets, loads of variaty
Feel involved
Good voice acting
Best on Xbox
Quite intense stealth

Linier
when spotted - if a soldier comes running for you into a dark room he will see you and he won't see you if you weren't spotted, it's unfair.
No propper hand to hand combat
It's unrealistic when taking an enemy by hostage and he makes a loud noise from being shocked and 2 other guys in the room will not hear it.
Pretty sweet it's a T for TEEN game and it really is

This game is not that great i have had it for 4 months and i only beat the first level it is not really fun. way to hard, no fun!! Get other games like halo, trust dont waste ur money as i did!!
