1)DO NOT run out of bullets, or you will spend hours trying to beat a level with your bare hands. 2)You cannot solve puzzles in any way other than the way designed by the programmers. 3)You cannot pick up your enemy's weapon. 3)You cannot open the door while you are carrying your enemy body. 4)You cannot open the door when you holding your enemy us a hostage. You must knock Your enemy down or kill him but after that your enemy became useless. So that's why I don't like this game. This game just a puzzle , thothing more.

The terminal moment of truth is fundamentally expressed and the systemic anomaly revealed as both beginning and end. Concordantly, while the game remains irrevocably of high class pertaining to that of the visual aspect, it simultaneously remains a burden to sedulously avoid, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. The intricacy of the gameplay structure is much to be desired that is pertaining to that of the precision of the harmony of stealth via inconceivable visual effects. Ergo, Splinters Cell is contingent upon the constitution of an escalating probability of a calamity inherit to the opus, vis-à-vis an abysmal of fecal matter. Apropos, avoid the quintessential human delusion of buying an Xbox, moreover purchase a PS2, simultaneously enriching ones gaming experience. Basically, Xbox is poo.

I really liked this game. The graphics were great, some of the best seen on xbox, and the levels were set out nicely. The weapons were interesting, and I enjoyed the way you can interact with bits of scenery, but I had some problems with the aiming. The aiming doesn't feel quite right, like it does in Halo.

I don't have to say a lot lot about this game, well because it speaks for itself. this game RULES w/ a capital R. i must say first that it took me a while to get through the training, but the training is much needed, i thought it would be like most training which lasts about five minutes or less, this took a good while. then when you get to the game you are well prepared for it. and boy is it fun, you'll have a blast!
i will just say, buy it don't rent it cause' you'll be mad when you have to take it back. and don't buy the strategy guide because it takes the fun outta' the game.
(almost)THE BEST! (best: Halo)

Tom Clacy's Splinter Cell has best graphics that I have ever seen in any game. Splinter Cell is also the hardest game I have ever played. Splinter Cell has only one challenger, and that would be Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. I have both games and like them equally, and play them equally. What I like about MGS2:S is that it has extra levels and extra features like over 350+ VR Missions and Alternative Missions. Splinter Cell on the other hand does not. So what game is the better game? Well my vote goes to Splinter Cell because of it's outstanding graphics and amazing story. The realism of the game really got me hooked on it.
Overall: MGS2:S is a good game, don't get me wrong, but I like Splinter Cell and i give it 5 stars. don't bother renting it, just buy it. It will save you [money]. (I bet you can't beat it before for the sequal is released in 2004! the sequal is called 'Splinter Cell 2 Pandora tomorrow')

THIS GAME IS JUST AWSOME!!!!!! EXTREMELY REALISTIC. A GREAT BUY FOR ANYONE WHO ENJOYS MILITARY GAMES. THERE ARE ONLY TWO DOWNFALLS TO THIS GAME. ONE IS THERE IS NO CHOICE OF WEAPONS, ALL YOU CAN USE IS A SILENCED PISTOL. THE OTHER IS IF YOU ARE TRIGGER HAPPY, THIS IS NOT THE GAME FOR YOU. YOU HAVE TO BE REALLY CAREFUL AT WHO YOU SHOOT. THERE ARE ENTIRE MISSIONS WHERE YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE A GUN!!! SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING DELTA FORCE: TASK FORCE DAGGER WITH SPLINTER CELL SO YOU CAN JUST BLOW EVERYONE AWAY ON DELTA THEN GO TO THIS AND EXPERIENCE THE MORE REALISTIC U.S. SPECIAL FORCES.

ok i've only played the demo for this game. regardless, it is such an amazing game. the revolutionary lighting effects and the application of the Unreal engine just makes this game as good as any. However, combined with great gameplay, neat gadgetry, stealth, and a plot that only Tom Clancy can put his stamp on makes this by far the best game you'll ever play. the only draw back is that it is not available for Xbox Live. nevertheless you'll spend weeks playing this game....straight.
Awesome

Splinter Cell is another masterpiece in the Tom Clancy game series. The graphics are not only eye candy, but are also the key to making this game the hit that it is. The gameplay revolves around the graphics, mainly the lighting and shadow effects made possible by Xbox's graphical superiority. You hide in the shadows to stay hidden from your enemies. You have a variety of gadgets at your disposal to help you while exercising the "fifth freedom," which enables you to protect the other freedoms held by US citizens. The camera system, unlike many other games, works great. You can do a variety of moves, such as a split jump between two narrow walls or grabbing an unsuspecting person from behind and using them as a human shield. Although the gameplay is linear, you actually have a lot of freedom and get to choose the way you execute the mission. The gadgets are great. They range from the signature night-vision goggles to cameras that you can shoot from your gun. This is much more than a shooter. Shooting is just a small part of the equation. This game is very unique and very addicting. Although it can be very challenging at times, this is a very fun game that is really going places. If you love the Tom Clancy books, then you'll love the storyline, too- it's classic Tom.
