Not your typical spy game

I rented theis game thinking it was goin 2 be another james bond [type]. Let me tell u, it was far from it!!! It has great graphics and music that has u sitting on the end of ur seat. It is the most realistic game ever. They have shadows, light switches that u can turn on and off, and u can pick up various objects such as soda cans 2 distract guards. The game has excrusiating details from the soda machines 2 the conversations between guards. Every little sound is picked up by guards. Also in this game u can do moves that never thought would be in a game. U can grab gurads, use them as human shields, interrogate them, make them them type in key codes, and use them for reitina scanners. Also u can land silently, climb across poles, go down zip lines, and rapell down buildings. There are awesome gadgets too. There are only 4 things that i can find bad about this game. It gets very hard once u get 2 later levels, it is extremely addicting, and it can be very frusterating. one more thing that is not so bad is that the controls get kinda confusing sometimes. The games has a very great story line as all tom clancy games do. This game is one of the most realistic and awesome game ive ever played. I suggest u buy it or at least rent it.

I just got this game for xmas and it is the best game i've ever played.it is the best game for xbox youll ever play too. trust me!

Don't get me wrong, this game is way better than MGS 2 in terms of a story. I mean, who wants to play a game where you run around the inside of a robot, not to mention you don't even play as Snake. But this isn't about MGS 2, Splinter Cell is a game in a completely different realm of it's own. I found many things in the game though that would irritate me to the point of nearly dismantling my XBox. In the game Sam can pick up a bottle and throw it to distract enemies. Usually when I would throw this bottle, they wouldn't investigate the crash it makes, but they'd come to the area it was thrown from and I'm cought. This happens plenty of times. My biggest gripe is the fact that Sam Fisher is some big ex-Navy Seal special ops guy, [who is a bad aim]! Let's not forget all of the James Bondlike devices that you'll never use. But, if you don't play this game, your missing out on a great video game experience.

This is a great game and I think UBI Soft went all out on it. Graphics are better than Halo and most other games. The only problem is that it is almost impossible without some kind of help or a walkthrough. It is very realistic and well thought out. One last problem is that you can't use guns in some levels I have had this game for 6 months and im still stuck on the 6th level.

This game is unbeleivable. The graphics, the sound, the whole concept of the game is fantasic. For anyone who isn't up for a challenge, this isn't the game for you. It's not 4 year old friendly; they limit you with ammo, making you change tactics from capping them in the back of the head to creeping up very slowly and pistol whipping them.
My only complaints of the game are...it's to easy the second time around. It's not near long enough, and the split jump is the coolest move, but i never once found a use for it in game, and it was hard to do while fooling around in game.
All in all, I can't wait til Pandora Tomarrow is out. This game is well worth the 5 star rating I gave it.

Splinter Cell is 100% RTS and the gameplay is spectacular!! I'm only on the first level, and the AI puts up a good fight!! YOU WILL NOT PUT DOWN THIS GAME!! During the levels, you will be sneaking up on people and either knocking them out or giving them a good bullet in their head! THIS GAME IS SO FUN PERIOD!

I just want to say that if anyone gives this any lower than a five they must be outta there frickin mind. I just picked it up a couple days ago and I can't stop playing it. I really like zoomin in on some stupid bad guy while hes talkin with his buddy and then shootin him right between the eyes...the only thing that could've been better is his brains slattering all over the other dudes face(i'm sure the programmers could've sqeezed in a few more small animations to make that happen.) But hey this game is AWESOME...IF YOU GOT AN XBOX YOU GOTTA HAVE THIS GAME!

Im not too far in this game but someone finally got a 3D game right is what it looks like. I still miss the days of the old one dimensional game. I mean, with the power that these systems now have, why doesnt someone come up with a killer one-dimensional game ala Rygar? Most of these 3D games have characters that are boxy, move like stick figures and have polygon problems all over the place. This game for the most part, seems to have resolved a lot of that. The best game for the XBOX is still Rallisport Challenge. NOT Halo. Halo is fun but its a mindless shooter. Rallisport has the best graphics ever.
