Star Wars: KOR is an addictive game, but has absolutely no replay value. Rent it for a week, beat it, and move on.

This game STINKS on ice!

When I bought this game my friends told me it was going to be bad but i didn't believe them. I was my first game i ever bought on Xbox and whoa was it a disapointment. I really do not advise getting the game even if your curios! First of all you don't choose your attacks all you do is click attack and then wait and whatch you person die (this happens alot). Second I've had the game for a bought a month and there are still no lightsabers. The only ways you can customize your character is there class, which all are bad, and your ugly head, every head is ugly in some disformed way! DO NOT GET THIS GAME you will expierience TORTURE!!

Knights of the Old Republic will be the second coolest Star Wars game for about 2 years or so.This game is not a run and destroy game,it is a Action-Adventure RPG title. The game will have no cheat codes except easter-eggs and hints.LucasArts says it has over 80 hours+ of gameplay. The game will have two modes,Real-Time Mode and Traditional RPG.The difference is that Real Time is when you pick an attack and press a button to use,you can use it several times if you please,Traditional RPG is when you pause the game and pick an attack and does it automaticly.Well I prefere Real Time because it is easier.Note:The things I said is only of what heard,I am not 100% positive.

Yawn...

This game is sort of fun and the graphics are pretty good but the overall combat and storyline is pretty lame. The gun shots are automated and you can't evade by yourself. Overall I wouldn't buy this game and I don't think that you should buy this.

I hate this game!
Let me start buy saying I buy every SW game to hit the market. This game is the biggist wast of time & money. I hate role playing games as I did not know it was a role playing type before I bought it. What is fun about letting the x-box fight the fight for you???? NOTHING!

HORRIBLE GAME!!!!

THIS GAME SUCKS ROYAL A**, April 21, 2004
Reviewer: A gamer from dlakfj;dlfj,alskdfja;sdlj
this was the most boring, stupid, idiotic game in the entire existance of games for the xbox, you would better yourself by playing games such as halo, or splinter cell: pandora tomarrow. This game mostly consists of running around talking to people and pressing a button so your character can go attack an enemy for you. You dont even control the hand to hand combat. Your character relies on a few key weapons but most of the rest are useless, the graphics are so so but the storyline consists of a number of choices you make which dont even change the storyline much, pretty much just the response of the people you talk to so DONT BUY THIS GAME
DITTO!!!!!!!!

This game is gonna be the greatest Star Wars game ever. With options to customize your character, have a clan, and have your dicisions in the game affect how you turn out later in the game, its gonna be an awsome.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, looks to be another great addition to the series of Lucas Arts Star Wars RPG's.

This game is takes place before the time period in all of the other Star Wars game. As usual you are a Jedi and must complete tasks, and become more experienced as you fight enemies and finish other activates.

Strengths:
First, Lucas Arts Star Wars games have a reputation for greatness. The company has experience in creating interactive and fun games. I have become "addicted" to playing these RPGs. They are fun and challenging. Knights of the Old Republic should be another great game. The graphics are stunning and use the Xbox's full potential. Additionally, the game play seems to be fun.

Weaknesses:
The game may become "too challenging" at times and become frustrating. Additionally, these games have been known to have some minor bugs.

Overall, this should be a great product. I plan to purchase it as soon as the game hits store shelves. You should too!

Great game...when it works

I'm a long-time Star Wars fan but fairly new at RPGs.

While I easily adjusted to the lack of complete control over the characters during combat (a feature many reviewers here seem to have a problem with) I just couldn't adjust to or accept the poor gameplay of Knights of the Old Republic.

God is this a buggy game!

I've never had a game freeze up so many times as this one (and I've been playing games since the old Atari 2600!). It freezes during cut scenes, it freezes when you leave one room and enter another (and worst of all) it freezes when you try to custom level up any and all of your characters. It's absolutely maddening having to turn off the XBox so many times.

And the odd thing is that this is the ONLY XBox game I have that does this.

While the game itself (when it works) has excellent music, good voice acting and is great fun to play, its bugginess often overrides all of the positives. It simply isn't playable most of the time and it's sad that a game that had so much potential clearly seems to have been rushed out.

I'll certainly never buy another LucasArts/Bioware game again after this experience. It's really that bad.

Probably gonna be great...

Just thought I'd throw one star in to annoy all the five star votes from people whom are rating a game which they have not yet played...
