This game blows my mind. The storyline is much better than the two Star Wars prequels', the graphics are amazing, and the twists and turns the game takes you through are great. The best thing about this game though is the characters. Sorry, but Darth Revan and Malak are much better bad guys than Sidious and Dooku, Jolee is more entertaining than Qui-gon, Canderous Ordo is great as a displaced Mandalorian, and (my favorite) HK-47 the homicidal assassin droid would shoot Jar-Jar in seconds. Great game!
This game does not feel like star wars.

I wasted 30 dollars. Tutorials are extremely anoying and the quest seem pointless. The game offers no freedom and it does not have a dynamic feel to it. Want to have fun buy Star wars Jedi academy. I must also mention that the art work and characters seem plain. I hope this helps.
Too difficult to play...

I've played this game for a little while now, and to be honest it's too complex for a first person shooter. I guess in a way it's not a first person shooter, but rather a RPG. Either way, you spend more time navigating choices for weapons and powers than you do in game play. It get's so tedious that I haven't played it much more than the day I opened it. Maybe it's just not my type of game, but I'm pretty disappointed. I've played plenty of other games like this, but this one is so over-done it's like eating a steak that's been burnt to a crisp. Yeah, it's protein, but damn it's hard to digest.
Wow! Awesome game.

My friend owns this game, not me. Even still, I am amazed at this game. In two days, I have played it for over 10 hours (it counts). The gameplay is awesome, plot is awesome, and it isn't a game that can be easily beaten. The part that I love the most is that you can choose whether your character will be good or evil, which will affect the game plot. I don't own an Xbox, but after playing this game, I am considering buying one.
THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not as good as a lot of people will tell you. One of the most challenging games I have ever played and it takes all the fun away from it. One of the worst games I have ever played.
LucasArts shouldn't make RPGs.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one of the most overrated games ever, along with the Final Fantasy and Zelda series. You don't get to do anything exciting in this game, it's just like Final Fantasy but with a Star Wars theme in it. The retard RPG "code of honor" is present in this game where you engage an enemy and take turns fighting. If you really fight in war, you don't take turns shooting/hacking at your enemy, you keep fighting until one of you is dead. You have little if any freedom in the environments you occupy, I couldn't get passed the first level because I had to depend on someone else to open all of the locked doors and when I did have the chance to fight, I kept mashing the A button to fire but like what I stated above, the system takes turns fighting. It's the same when you're fighting with a lightsaber. After that, I took out the game and put in Halo.
Do youselves a favor and play these fine games instead:
Halo 1 and 2
Unreal 2: The Awakening
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Star Wars: Republic Commando
Star Wars: Battlefront
Extremely Entertaining, But a Little Puzzling at Times

This is a very good game that is very entertaining. An excellent tutorial is built right into the game through questions asked of other characters. The game will usually not let you do something that will ultimately screw you over later in the game. There are a few places where I have got stuck so far, only to finally figure it out and realize that the solution was staring me in the face the whole time. There are various characters you encounter throughout the game and some will even join your group and you can play as them. At a relatively early point in the game gain Force powers that are affected by Light or Dark side points you gain through your actions throughout the game. If you are generally evil to people, you will recieve less penalties for choosing evil force powers. You also recieve and build various lightsabers and then can change the color of the blade and add diferent crystals to it in order to change it's properties.
At the beginning of the game you are given the option to choose your "class" of character (which will alter the skills you are given) and then you can choose their face. Your character is human, which brings me to my first problem (though minor) about the game. I wish you could pick a species, then customize thier appearance. Though you can already change your characters clothing and skills, there is still something to be wished for. Also, for experienced gamers the built in tutorial can be frustrating.
All in all the game is definately worth purchasing and playing, even for a gamer such as I on an extremely tight budget.

The manner in which this game was made is unique and engaging. The storyline has depth and great character development. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this game. Maybe if you're not interested in the story then you won't like this game but if that's the case then you should be sticking to sports and racing games anyway.
