Short but Sweet

This game was really fun, but I could beat the game in almost one sitting. The graphics are great. I would buy it if you want a good multiplayer game, but it can only be two players, instead of four.

Amazing Multiplayer Game

The Multi-player portion of this game is absolutely amazing. It's like Halo with controllable computer armies to back you up. The point of the game is to control all of the checkpoints, but most of the time a battle will be won by defeating all of your enemy's reinforcements. My neighbor and I sent up a System-link so that we can have team battles in our separate apartments. Every game you have so many options of which side to fight for and what type of soldier to be in that army. The game also includes many vehicles that can be user controlled, which are a lot of fun. I can't speak to the faithfulness of the Star Wars theme but over-all this is a great game and defiantly worth your time until Halo 2 gets here.

Starwars Battlefront

As you know, battlefront takes placein the actual star wars wars. For example, Remember back in Episode V? when they fight in HOth, well, you get to play in that battle, and drive the big AT-AT's or the AT-ST's. also if you choose to be the rebles, you may play in the snowspeeders and harpoon the AT ATs down! also in episode II where they are in genosis, you get to fly the republic gunner ship. man is that fun.

the controlls are soo easy to get used to, they are just like James Bond games or Halo. you can change the game point of view from 1st person to 3rd person, personally i like 1st persong.

some errors i find about this game, is that many times i find myself being killed by no one, as if the guy is invisale. but i get used to it. its not too much of a problem, who knows, i may be blind :). so far thats the only glitch i have found. i have had this game for a couple of months now.

instant actionand golatic conquest are the best modes in this game. also i would reccumend getting Battlefront II some time.

I'll admit that being able to go around as a stormtrooper and kill everything in sight is fun. Wicked fun. This game delivers if you want to have a good time playing a FPS involving Star Wars. The major drawback to the game is the targetting. It's like using a sniper rifle in Halo 1 but the reticle is the size the one for the assault rifle. You can turn on the auto-aim option to help with accuracy but then the reticle tends to follow an enemy on screen and it's more difficult to shoot over an ally's shoulder. Another drawback is that you can't jump/fall and shoot at the same time like in other FPSs. Plus, fighters are hard to learn how to use as are other vehicles. You can still do fine as a footsoldier but it would be nice if the vehicles were a little easier to use.

I'm not a 1st/3rd person shooter fan. But this game's graphics and sheer re-playability won me over. I actually played Battlefront II before I, but the original seems much much better than the sequel.

P.S. Best star wars game ever: X-Wing Alliance. What can I say, I'm old-school.

This game is the best it is so fun you can do a lot in it. I think 1 game might be better......coming out this fall is STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 2! Is that cool or what. That might be better. and I saw 100 images of it. You should look it up. Its the best!

Any vehicle in the movie just about every location in the movie and every battle

well not all the battles but we can wait for the sequel for the rest of the battles

Ive been seeing alot of crapy SW games lately like clone wars Bounty hunter I just about to loose faith in star Wars Games when I saw what looked to be a perfect star Wars game SWBF finally they made a game that wasnt based the stupid clone wars they went forward some years to the classical times of Storm troopers Luke and completly battle droid free of course if you want your droids back you can always have the choice of fighting in the first 2 movies or last 3 movies and if you want some Episode 3 action wait untill the sequel

as i said before this is the hugest come back for SW games ive ever seen

Ohhh.....I still miss this game ever so deeply

Star Wars Battlefront is my favorite video game, but sadly it is not in my possession. I borrowed it from my friend for the longest time and then rented it, but had to return it.

PLAY THIS GAME AND THE ONLY PATHWAY TO DISSAPPOINTEMENT WILL BE IF IT IS OUT OF YOUR POSSESSION.

this is a war game but its as simple as walking my brother beat the empire levels in live three hours!!! i would sugest to buy this because it is sort of fun (you can't be jedi or sith like in battlefront 2)
