Star Wars is suprisingly good!

This game is fun in many aspects, but it comes up a little short in others. The game is incredibly easy it is beyond belief. It always seems that once one person starts shooting at you, they don't stop, they basically kill you automatically, but you respawn and nothing much changes. The AI's are absolutely stupid, if you say wait, they will immediately run into battle. The game has quite a selection of different vehicles, soldiers, and a variety of planets ranging from a mountainous snowy area to a beach. Graphics are really good in this game. The missions are always the same, kill 250 enemies before they kill yours. The other way of winning is to conquer all the command posts. In easy and medium it's almost an automatic win and you don't need to even worry about command posts. The multiplayer is fun and the game is overall a fun one.

Could Be Better

Last weekend, I decided not to run out and buy this game but rent it insted. Am I ever glad I did not buy it! Most of the levels are really true to the movies, but it gets kinda boring after a few hours. You can as any side from the movies. eg: Rebels, the Imperial empire, Repubic, or Sepatist forces. You can take control of any walker, fighter or just fight on foot.

Within 2 days, I beat the entire campain. Once you beat the game, it starts to get kinda repetive. AI are really stupid, and with absolutey no strategy! That makes for fruserating game play.

On the bright side, the controls are good. But I recomend this game only to real Star Wars fans. Anyone else, dont waste your money.

This is the Star Wars game I've been waiting for

I love this game. The negitive reviews are mostly silly and not justified. This is exactly the Star Wars game I've been waiting for and I love it! Get in all the vehicles and shoot all the weapons, from ALL the movies! Sign me up for Jedi class, I'm ready. Exactly what I expected and a lot of fun!

I have not had much experience with this game.I played the demo that comes on the Star Wars Trilogy Special Features Disc. It was a very good game.I would have given this 5 stars if it had not been for the controls. They are probably the worst part of the game. For instance, when I got in an AT-ST walker, the controls would not respond,I just kept moving in one direction. If you are considering this game, keep in mind,it is hard to control.

WE HAVE CAPTURED THE COMMAND POST

This game is an all time favorite around me and my friends. With all the levels and weapons, there is much to keep you playing. You could do a campaign or a good round of instant action. Im not sure if any Xbox owners i know don't have this game. Buy this game and BE READY TO CAPTURE THE COMMAND POST!!!!

Another solid star wars shooter!

Basically you just try to kill all your enemies ,hop into vehicles fly them, drive them then shoot and kill your enemies or your own soldiers ,ooops, sorry bud. Graphics arent award winning ,but with all the choas going around you it still looks good.Take over command posts and order your men to stand ground or follow or just shoot everything that moves. This is no lone warrior type game, its more of a tactical command shooter. although you could just lay down with a sniper ,by a recharge weopon thingy and hope all your soldier dont get blasted. ALL IN ALL FUN GAME WORTH PLAYING.

Really, really, REALLY awesome game

I got my first taste of this from the DVD set, and I have played the full version many times, and when I say that I mean I absolutely hate games that make you follow a story line (even I wouldn't touch KOTOR) thats why you can just pop in this game and play endless individual "battles" and I never earned anything, but the planets and locations that were available right from the start are all that really need to be in there, and some that are very cool extras from the EU.
Probably the coolest feature here is that you can battle on the Kashyyk lagoon site. That is what really extends the life of this game for eternity because it is an awesome locale from Episode 3!
this is a M.U.S.T. H.A.V.E.

I think this game rocks because I can use the force to knock out The Rebel Allliance. The other thing is that this game is so fun to play on my Xbox and I can pick what sides to play for and I picked the Galactic Empire! This game rocks! Star Wars is #1!

THE BEST

The game offered here is one that has been needed for a LONG time now. The idea of running through the battlefield with laserblast coming from every side brings a tear to your eye as you truly NOW feel like youre part of the star wars saga. I like how you can respawn and pick a different troop at times as each level makes better use of a certain kind of troop. Now, the only downfall I see here is the fact of how the game forces you to play both sides at times in the historical mode. for example, I played as the Imperial forces and won every level until all of a sudden IM forced to play the rebels???!??! However, being able to call for support or command a small set of troops adds to the games depth. At first the game seems a little "rough" as you will die quite a bit and be frustrated at having to respawn and run all the way back to the battle but after you get used to the controls and the way the game is paced you'll be able to survive longer and dose out more damage to your enemy. the other neat factor of the game is the ability to play part of episode III. All in all the game is a star wars fan's dream! Want to shoot ewoks? you can...want to blast rebel scum? you can....want to blast vader?...nice try! He just deflects it and one swipe of that red saber and your toast...keeps it fair! Truly one of the BEST star wars games Lucas Arts has EVER put out!
