Unlike in the movies, on this game you can't play Jedi. There should be more character choices and different types of weapons.

I bought this game because i have had so much fun with all the other battle fields on the PC (1942 and vietnam) when i bought it i was not dissapointed. All my friends got it too so we played online and system link for many hours and it never got boring. The levels are large and diverse, if you want a close combat level it is there, same if you want an open fielded map with many vehicles.
Pros: Fun, long lasting, you can keep playing, many vehicles and weopans, lots of people on each map.
Cons: Xbox live lags way too much, it is not fun to play sometimes if not impossible with enemies jumping all over the screen, moving quicker than the curser can follow. The campain is limited.
The game is definitly worth buying and i think that it is the most fun star wars game as well the one with the best graphics next to KOTOR I and II.
My second favorite Star Wars game.

My first favorite is Shadows of the Empire. This game is 2004's second best game (Halo 2 is the first). It's one hell of a combat game. You reinact famous battles from the Star Wars saga. You can choose you eras, which are the Clone Wars (Episodes 1-3) and the Galactic Civil War (Episodes 4-6). You can choose which faction you fight for, Clone Wars is Republic vs CIS, Galactic Civil War is Empire vs Rebel Alliance. In the battlefields, you can choose which spawnpoint to spawn from and jump into the battle, and you can choose your soldier classes. Each faction has a soldier, sniper, pilot, anti-vehicle soldier, and a miscellanenious soldier. The Republic's misc. soldier is a Jet Trooper, who has an EMP blaster and six frag grenades. The CIS's misc. soldier is the Droideka aka Destroyer Droids. The Empire's misc. soldier is a Dark Trooper, similar to the Jet Trooper but with a blast cannon (similar to a shotgun but with lasers). The Rebel Alliance's misc. soldier is a Wookie Smuggler, which has a Wookie bowcaster, grenade launcher, and timebombs.
As opposed to other games, you aren't any stronger than your enemies or allies, but you can employ better tactics than them. If you don't fight wisely, you'll keep getting killed. After you die in a battle, you choose another spawnpoint (or stick with the same one), and you can choose a different class of soldiers (you can stick to the same one if you'd like). You use a variety of vehicles in this game, even AT-ATs!! When fighting vehicles on foot, destroying enemy vehicles isn't as easy as it looks. It takes many shots from your missile launcher (if you have an anti-vehicle class) to destroy one. If you're wise enough, you'd stay by an ammo-replenishing droid when fighting a vehicle on foot. Pilots can heal comrades, repair droids, vehicles, turrets etc., and when piloting vehicles, they automatically heal the vehicle if it's struck by enemy fire. Pilots have crappy weapons, so choose the pilot only if you need to repair stuff or pilot a vehicle. Soldiers are perfect for fighting infantry, and the snipers are good at taking out enemies one-by-one covertly.
Without any set way things should play out, the possibilities in this game are endless. It NEVER gets boring, if you hate Gungans, you'll love this game because you reinact the "Battle of Naboo" in which you fight for the Trade Federation and have to wipe out the Gungan army. Since me and my friends hate Jar Jar, we had fun playing that level many times.
If you love Star Wars (even if you don't) and an action game with endless possibilities, you should play this.

Guys if your looking for game where there is lots of shooting and if you've seen all 5 episodes of StarWars (except episode 3) then this my friend is the game for YOU! You get to be on the rebel's side with Luke Skywalker or join the empire's side with the evil Darth Vader and you have to fight and shoot your way to the oppisite teams command post. Trust me Bratha's this is the game for you!!

This game was really fun, but I could beat the game in almost one sitting. The graphics are great. I would buy it if you want a good multiplayer game, but it can only be two players, instead of four.
Amazing Multiplayer Game

The Multi-player portion of this game is absolutely amazing. It's like Halo with controllable computer armies to back you up. The point of the game is to control all of the checkpoints, but most of the time a battle will be won by defeating all of your enemy's reinforcements. My neighbor and I sent up a System-link so that we can have team battles in our separate apartments. Every game you have so many options of which side to fight for and what type of soldier to be in that army. The game also includes many vehicles that can be user controlled, which are a lot of fun. I can't speak to the faithfulness of the Star Wars theme but over-all this is a great game and defiantly worth your time until Halo 2 gets here.
